Whenever I have a guy I like or my guy friends over or just any friends in general over, my little brother ALWAYS has to be with us. I can say "Can you go upstairs for a little..just for A LITTLE..please?" and he goes "i can do whatever I want" And it gets so annoying and my mom doesn't care and she lets him annoy us.I can be in my OWN room and he STILL won't get out and my mom lets him stay in there too. I even ask her NICELY to have him go upstairs with her and she goes "he's not annoying just deal with it"..how am I EVER gonna have boys and friends and my boyfriend come over without my brother around us all the time?HELP ME BEFORE I EXPLODED :x

It could be possible that your mother PLANTED him there. After all, you are hanging in your room... alone... with guys. If I were a parent, I'd do something sneaky like... having the younger sibling bother the other, to make SURE that nothing happens. You could distract him. You BOTH could have people over. Or you could just leave the house and walk somewhere. You could even try bribing your brother. Find something that your brother wants really bad (in advanced...), when you have frinds over, and he won't leave you alone, you bribe him. Say "I'll give you/let you do (whatever) ONLY if you leave us alone!" and then tell him where to get the the item of desire, and then lock your bedroom door! I hope these suggestions help!

my brother is really spoiled. Here are some reasons why:
*he gets whatever he wants
*whatever he does i get blamed for-no joke.
*when he wants friends over, he can have them over (I cant.)
*if he slaps me or hits me or punches me, even if i dont say anything or touch him, i get yelled at. EVERY TIME.
*one time my friends came over and he started just peeing his pants right there and my friend and i told my mom and she didnt believe us even after my brother admitting it because she thinks hes "perfect" and would never do anything like that.
--this gets VERY annoying VERY often. I really wanna change this but whenever i tell my mom how i feel she goes "Oh please..grow up I never baby him" when she knows she treats him differently. I cant even have friends over without him around us!! please help me! what can i do???

Well, you could try to video tape everthing that he does. Also, you need to video tape everthing that your mom does. Then show it to her. Maybe if she saw herself, she will realize how differently she treats you. (Say that it's a projet that you're working on)
Or, (assuming your parents are together) you could tell your dad. HE should be able to tell that you are being treated differently. I really hope I helped. This is not right! Good luck!

i recently purchased a USB stick memory card and it isnt working. i put it into my usb port as it instructs but nothing happened, it ried my otehr open ports still nothing, i tried my digital camera and it worked fine, so teh problem isnt the port. ive also tried installing the software it says is needed for older computers, even though mine is pretty new, with windows XP. anyone know waht could be wrong and a way to fix it?

Its possible that you bought a busted one. You can swith it off from where you purchaced it.

My life really sucks. The guy i like has this really popular and pretty girlfriend. All the people at school make fun of me. I do not have alot of friends. My family doesn't seem like they care for me too much. I even sometimes think of suicide.

At school all of the people make fun of me. I am no dork but people make fun of me the way i dress and just plain make fun of me. On my school lacrosse team people always make fun of me. Not to brag but i am probably the best person on the team and yet there are still people making fun of me of the things i do. On my soccer team some of the girls make fun of me too. I do not have alot of friends either. My dad always bothers me to have someone come over and he asks me the number of people i called and its only about 3 because i really don't have alot of friends to call. My family is always yelling at me to. I try to be nice but then my sister makes some smart remark and then my parents expect me to be nice to her. And they think she is like the perfect angel child that does everything right. My sister even sometimes makes fun of me by saying i have no friends. Suicide is also something i think about and life is something i want to take away because it really sucks. Please add some advice to this column. It would really help. Even if it is just about one thing. Please help.

Come on now. Suicide doesn't solve anything. And really, you're life isn't that bad. You know those people living in third world countries? Well they have to work to survive, they have no time for friends. Kids... you said you play lacrosse and soccer? Well there are kids that DON'T play. Kids younger than us, are over worked, under paid, and most work really dangerous jobs. And they HAVE to do it, because it's the only way for them to survive. You're life really isn't like the life of these children struggling to survive. And you want to end yours? That isn't the way to go.

Not having friends? Well don't worry about it. Its not going to last forever. I hope you will feel better, and that you will find friends. And those people making fun of you? Tell them to skrew off! Anyway, good luck.

What is your opinion on religion? I've heard about the theory of evolution and it makes a lot of sense.
And right now the theory of god and heaven doesn't seem real. There's no proof.
Can any of you give me your point of view? I want details b/c i'm really troubled with this.

Well, just keep this in mind. The Bible was NOT MADE TO BE TAKEN LITERALLY! You know where it says that he made man out of clay (well I'm not sure cuz I don't read the Bible... I'm not a very good Catholic...)Who said God can't create evoulution? What if the clay is a symbol of the organisms building up together to form man? Who says that the Earth was made in 7 EARTH DAYS? This is highly unlikely. Maybe God's day last billions of years. What God could've done, was make man out of the organisms that pull together to make a new species and let them be. THEN as the earth changes, Charles Darwin's theroy comes into play, causing evoulution because of the "survival of the fittest"

Heavan on the other hand... Well, isn't it nice to think that when you die (and you've lived a rightous life), you go to a place where you're body is perfict, and you can have anything you want (I'm not sure what that is though...) It kinda makes me want to go to Heaven now.

Ok, so it is the first day of school today and I didn't get to go because i got my wisdom teeth out on monday and so now i am swelled up very big and i can not even close my mouth. i was wondering how to make the swelling go down, and do not say ice because the doctor told me no ice after the first day. i know pretty strange huh? well i really want to go to school tomorrow and see all my friends and meet my teachers. so any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance :D

Well, my dentist said to use ice. It would seem strange that a docter said not to put ice on it... Also, I suggest that you stay out of school for the next week or week and a half, because it'll hurt too much, and the medicine (at least mine) will get you dizzy. Ice is the bet way to keep the swelling down. Hope you feel better!

ok last night my bestfriend made me feel like shit. she wwas talking to me about my boyfriend and how she doesnt like him and who last time she went to the mall by him that I ditched her for him which isnt true at all she ditched me nobody told her to leave and me and my boyfriend didnt do anything she left on her own and now she said she wont take me to the mall over there to meet up with him because she doesntlike him (because he black) and because of what happened last time/ i dont know what to do. she is the only person that my momm trust to let me go to the mall with (makin sure an adult is wit us) my mom wont let em go with any of my other friends because she doesnt trust them but she also wont give them a chance to get to know them.. i love my boyfirned sooo much and the thought of not being able to ssee him just keeps hurting me more and more when i think about it.. can someone please help me out on what i should do?? and i dont know about letting him come over to meet my parents because my parents hate the idea that i like black guys...

Aww! Come on! You have so many people that don't like your boyfriend because he his BLACK! This isn't right. You shouln't abandon family and friends, but don't ever let their influence interfere with true love. Are you sure that they don't like him because he's black? I'm black too and it really hurts that people won't give you a chance because of skin color. I suggest that you have your boyfriend meet your parents, even though they don't like you dating black people. You have to show them that the color of the skin isn't a factor on personality. As for your friend... Well, if she was your true friend, then she could see how much you care for your boyfriend and will accept him. I really hope I helped. I'm on your side!

Hi. I'm a 16 year old girl and I have a huge problem. I often times wonder about God. I'm sure that I believe in him but at times I have doubts...is that normal? And also, is it true that God has a plan for everyone and some people are bound to go to hell?

Yeah it's normal. A lot of people go through things which causes them to have doubts about the existance of
God. And when they say that God has a plan for everyone... Well I'm not sure, because that's just like saying that you are destined to go to Hell. I would like to think of it more like this:
God knows everything. He knows every move you'll make in your lifetime, so if you make certain bad moves, you will be punished and go to Hell.

1. It might seem shallow, but hey, you have to admit that sight is used first in first attractions... Well, if it's from the back, I usually notice her hair first (I like girls with long hair). If her hair isn't long, or pulled up, what else is there but the booty? From the front, the face (most important!), it goes to the breast (big are always nice, but not so important), the gentle curve of her hips, her legs, then I go back up, ending with the face.
2. I really like girls that can think, arn't afraid to wonder about things (like philosophy), I also find it attractive if they have a good sense of humor. And,it might sound strange, but I find it very alluring if a girl winks at me.
3. I really don't like girls that smoke, drink, or do drugs. Not good!
4. I don't really like girls with bad attitudes and yell at adults. Everyone should respect their elders!
5. I don't mind the hair color, as long as its long (like down to her lower back) and blue, green, and gray eyes are pretty. Brown is good, but it's just too common!

okay i have a stupid virus on my computer!! do you know how to make my computer go back to the day before it happend because i just fixed everything and my brother went online and the virus is BACK after a week of being gone. Im so mad and i really really need someones help!!!!

This is how you set your computer to go back.

1. Click Start and go to all programs
2. Go to Accessories
3. Go down to System tools
4. Click on system restore
5. Follow the directions on the program.

That will set your computer back. But I'm not sure if it will kill your virus. You might want to get a virus protection program. If its a bad virus (And I mean a BAD VIRUS!!!), then you might have to reformat your computer. (WHICH YOU DON'T WANT TO DO!!!) Reformating your hard drive will delete EVERYTHING on your computer. So, for minimal problems, get a virus protection program such as Norton AntiVirus. Good Luck!

well first i am 14/f, and anyone makes fun of my question in anyway, i will report you and get you banned. and well people who are willing to help, please help i need help ASAP. my problem is this. i am crushing on a gay guy. i just met him and he first denied that he was, but today he told me and my friend that he is gay. but he is fits so perfect for my dream prince. he likes stuff i like, and such. not to mention he is sooo hot.

Whew... gay dude... Well, I know this dude who is gay, and I didn't know untill my friends told me. But, I see him and one girl sit next to each other, and she hugs all over him and holds his hands and stuff. So maybe, if you become more flirtatious with him, you could POSSIBLY turn him straight. My boyfriend that I am now going out with (for about a two months)has just told me that he has schizophrenia. I know that if you are a schizophrenic that you are 50% more likely to commit suiside and I know he has thought about it in the past before I knew this condition. He is a really nice guy and I like him a lot. Although right now I'm worried. One because he didn't tell me before and two because I don't know much about schizophrenia or his condition of it. I did a report on it last year in health class so I know WHAT it is but I don't know if even medicine helps much. All I know about his condition with it is that he hears voices even when he takes medication and I also understand it isn't his fault he has it and I should be there for him no matter what. I don't know what to do, I know I really can't do much but what do I do with out relationship? Please help me figure what to do with us and how I can support him if he needs me although I am ALWAYS there for him.

This is a tough one... You should be very careful with your relationship. When he's in his psychotic stage and its severe, there may be physical violence, and he could be self-harming. so im 14/f and i got contacts like 2 days ago. and i start high school on tuesday. im gonna be a freshman anywho. i look like a total GEEK with my glasses on and the problem is i cant get my contacts in. but when other people put them in for me im okay. i can poke my eye and stuff but idk why i cant put contacts in. can some one give me any good tips on how you can put in your contacts?

You really shouldn't have gotten your contacts two days before school. You should've tried to get them earlier. That because your eyes needs to adjust to putting contacts in them. For the first week, it took me an hour just to put one in! But after two weeks, I was able to put them in easily. Be sure that before you put contacts in your eyes, you wash your hands with soap and warm water. Make sure your contacts are moist from the soulution, and stick the contacts in your eye. It may help if you put your right contact in with your right hand and your left contact in with your left hand. (That's how I do it) I also suggest, that when you don't have school, you practice putting in your contact lenses so you don't have to have anyone else put them in for you. Hope I helped!

Ok this is weird...well to me it is, About 2 weeks i had the most scariest dream of my life, it was during the morning and it was like 100' degrees outside... When i woke up my hands were beyond freezing, i didnt understand it because well since it was so hot out i was sweating and i was only in a room with one fan.... OK so heres what i want to know, all i know is that i had a wicked scary dream nothing else but then when i think about the dream i always see this one part in my head of a girl (not me, no idea who she is) screaming at the top of her lungs... and some guy (i only see him just standing there)but he has like a look of hatred on his face like hes a scary dude (hah) i only remember these 2 glimses... its a night and it just really bothers me because ill think of the dream at random times and then thats what i see.... ANY IDEAs on what this could mean??

I don't really know what this dream means. However, your dreams don't have to mean anything. It could just be a nightmare, that's all. If you haven't gotten a good night's sleep a few days, then you'll have REM sleep rebound. (REM sleep is the part of sleep in which you're dreams occur) REM sleep rebound is when your body stays in REM sleep longer, which means more dreams, which also means more chances for a nightmare to occur. So you probably just had a simple nightmare.

okay 7-12 in our school is in highschool.. and im goig in 7th.. and im kinda scared ill get confused and stuff and i wont know where to go (ive been going to this school since 2nd grade but i dont know the highschool that well) please help me and tell me your experinces of your first day of highschool

You really have nothing to worry about. If it's like my school, then a few schools will be merging together, so of course the school will be bigger. In my school, we have 4 different classes, each class lasting 90 min. After 2 of the classes, we have a 45 min. lunch, then we go to our next class. Don't worry. It will take some time to get used to, but it's nothing to worry about. Good luck!

Fear of falling on your back or head is normal. A good place to start flipping is on a steep grass hill (that's how I learnd) The steep hill will help you get around more with less effort. Good luck. Hope I helped!

i start school soon & the doctor says i can use herbal stuff to help me get to sleep earlier than im us eto...have any of you used it and tel me if its worked? thanks

Sorry, I don't remember of any herbal stuff. But I do know that you shouldn't take sleeping pills. The herbal stuff is ok, is just that sleeping pills tend to interfer with REM sleep (the portion of sleep in which your dreams occur and refreshes your mind and body). I also know that when you do take an herbal pill to sleep, you should take it affter dinner, and at least 2 hours BEFORE you intend to go to sleep. And should probably aim at 10 hours of sleep. (Be careful though, if you take it too late, you won't be able to wake up the next morning, and that stuff knocks you out!

Right around my nipple, i have a few black hairs. i always shave them cuz they are ugly. but is it normal to get hair there?

ok i have really cury hair and i straighten it everyday but im really getting sick of doing it b/c my hairs so thick and its so time consuming to get it pin straight,i use to love to swim and i never want to do it anymroe b/c i dont want to get my hair wet b/c it will curl and when ever it gets the least bit humid my hair goes nuts. i was thinking about getting it chemically relaxed but idk can anyone whos got it done tell me about it and if it works or doesn't or is bad for there hair ill rate a 5 to anyone who anwsers!!

I had my hair relaxed.(And I'm a dude!) But it works really well. But it can cost some serious cash. Mine cost $55. It also burns your scalp. It hurts for the first week, but after that, it's all fine.
But when if you do get a relaxer, you also have to get special shampoo and conditioer if you go swimming (because of the chlorine) Its called "Nexxus" There's a shampoo, deep clarifying treatment, and conditioner. Also, you will need to blowdry it everytime it does get wet. (or it will get somewhat puffy) It won't get as puffy as it would now, but it would get pretty puffy. Hmm... Well with the first guy, it may depend on how much older he is then you. Guys usually have an age limit. If he's not too old, then you just need to talk to him about similar interests.
Hang in there. Be sure not to talk to him ALL the timie. He could get annoyed by that. Just hang in there. Eventually you'll become friends, then that could grow into something more. You should go with the first guy because he's mature (but that could be bad too if you know what I mean...) But if there is a big age gap, then you should probably go for the second guy.
