i recently purchased a USB stick memory card and it isnt working. i put it into my usb port as it instructs but nothing happened, it ried my otehr open ports still nothing, i tried my digital camera and it worked fine, so teh problem isnt the port. ive also tried installing the software it says is needed for older computers, even though mine is pretty new, with windows XP. anyone know waht could be wrong and a way to fix it?
Mengers answered Wednesday August 17 2005, 2:19 pm: Are you waiting for the usb port to open a program? USB port is only an additional drive, it shouldn't be opening up anything.
To see if it's doing it's job, go to My Computer and see what drives you had... if you have an E: drive then it's working, if not tech support or the store you bought it from.
Edit: judging from your rating I have no clue how to help you. I reread your question... you put it in your usb port... you don't put cards in ports. [ Mengers's advice column | Ask Mengers A Question ]
