Chances are it will take some time to get online with your laptop. You will probably need pay to use the wireless internet that many colleges have, and will need to make sure you have a wireless card installed in your laptop.
It might take up to week for them to get everyone online who wants to be online, as the campus internet services get a little flooded in September. But don't worry too much, there are computer labs and probably lots of internet cafes around too. You wont be completely internetless. [ Razhie's advice column | Ask Razhie A Question ]
