My first day I was a little nervous but the previous week my sister showed me to all of my classes so I never got lost. Have someone show you to your classes a week before. Good luck! Hope I helped!

lol, on my first day of high school, I wasn't even there! My family was at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells ;) But I'm guessing that's not what you needed. Seriously, don't panic. It's really not a big deal. As to finding your way around, I discovered a little trick. My high school, and every other one I've visited, has room numbers like 324, which would mean 3rd building, 2nd floor, 4th room. It's an easy little trick to finding your way around by room numbers. If your school isn't like that, I'd just go there sometime before school starts with a couple friends and just run around and find all your classes and lockers and stuff. Helped me before I went to high school. And if you ever get lost, just ask someone where to go, they'll be nice and tell you :). Teachers usually are lenient for about a week with being late to their classes because they know new students are trying to find their way around. Hope this helps, have fun!
Love,
Nevaeh

we start high school in 8th. the first day is still all a blur. it's confusing and i didn't know the high school that well either. ask at the main office if they have a map of your school that has classroom numbers on it. what i did is circled all of my classrooms and labeled them with what period i had them. it helped so much. high school is actually fun even though everything is harder. you have so much independance it actually halps you become more organized and responsible.

good luck

Well the first day of high school is tough for everyone. I of course got lost so I asked teachers how to get to my classes. Also I had alot of trouble with my locker and trying to open it. the first few days will be tough but you will get through it before you know it.

aww!! dont worry abou it.. its NO big deal!! walk around with your friends all day.. so if you get lost you'll be with people you know.. and you wont look lost! and if you do get lost ask a teacher.. NEVER an upperclassmen.. some of them can be obnoxious and lead you in the wrong direction. other than that dont freak out just walk with your friends all day!! = )

Aw, first off doll. Confidence is a total key. Walk in there like you own the place, and dont be afraid to ask questions. My first day of high school [ 2 years ago ] I went to a new high school and didnt know anyone. I walked in there, and just was myself. I wasnt afraid to ask questions, or afraid of sounding dumb. In each of my classes I talked to people, and made lots of friends. Since you have gone to that school for a while though it should make it easier, because you have your friends there with you. If your really unsure or really scared, you can ask your mother or father to take you up to the school and have a look at it. 99% of the time the high school looks bigger than it really is. Once you get in there and get things figured out, it will seem like a breeze. good luck & have fun sweetie =)!

You really have nothing to worry about. If it's like my school, then a few schools will be merging together, so of course the school will be bigger. In my school, we have 4 different classes, each class lasting 90 min. After 2 of the classes, we have a 45 min. lunch, then we go to our next class. Don't worry. It will take some time to get used to, but it's nothing to worry about. Good luck!

Holy crap... 7th grade is when highschool starts for you??? That's insane! Anyway, if you get lost, easy, ask the nearest teacher or maybe an upperclassmen. They aren't as scary as everyone makes them out to be. So just ask someone if you're lost! It's not a big deal, and you shouldn't feel stupid. All the new comers ask where to go. When I started highschool, my very first day some girls tried to trip me. I shot them a look and they didn't do it again. Since you start out so young for highschool, you may not get tourtured as much as 9th graders would. So you're safe. Highschool's really not that bad. I must warn you, it does change people though. Highschool is a whole different world, different people and people CHANGE. You may lose friends like I did, and gain better ones like I did. But overall, my highschool experience has been A-OK. =) Good luck!
