so im 14/f and i got contacts like 2 days ago. and i start high school on tuesday. im gonna be a freshman anywho. i look like a total GEEK with my glasses on and the problem is i cant get my contacts in. but when other people put them in for me im okay. i can poke my eye and stuff but idk why i cant put contacts in. can some one give me any good tips on how you can put in your contacts?

I hardly have trouble getting my contacts in. First i rinse my contacts in my hand and then use my other hand to pinch the contact and put it on my right index finger. I then put a few drips of solution into the contact and then take it towards my eye with my right middle finger pulling down my bottom eye lid. then i put it on my eye when its wide open. make sure to blink and move the contact around.

Well I'd stay away from any sleeping pills or anything like that. Buy a water fall/ soft sounds player. It really does help you fall asleep. Or put something really boring on T.v. or on the radio.

i've had boobs for five years now and vaginal discharge and hair in all those places but i still haven't gotten "it" yet and two years ago the doctor said it woul be within the month. i know i won't want it once i get it but i just want it so i know i'm normal. oh yeah (14/f)also my mom got hers when she was 15.

Well I belive you should get a different doctor because theres no way that you can predict a first period. Anyways you are normal. I know that it can be annoying waiting to get it. Then it comes and your like i was waiting for this? lol Every girl is different and your period will come when your body is ready.

okay 7-12 in our school is in highschool.. and im goig in 7th.. and im kinda scared ill get confused and stuff and i wont know where to go (ive been going to this school since 2nd grade but i dont know the highschool that well) please help me and tell me your experinces of your first day of highschool (link)

Well the first day of high school is tough for everyone. I of course got lost so I asked teachers how to get to my classes. Also I had alot of trouble with my locker and trying to open it. the first few days will be tough but you will get through it before you know it.

This is my second time posting here on Advicenators. Well, I could really use some good advice here. I am 14 years old, never been kissed, hugged, dated..etc. I like older boys better because I know they tend to make the first moves and spoil you more, but I never thought I would end up like my best friends older brother. He's just two years older, not even. He's cute and he's funny, but he's really shallow. He's making me want to just die with the harsh things he says. He's always telling my friend Marissa* you should hang out with hot friends because all your friends are ugly. Right when I am sitting there. Now I can't stop hating myself. (link)

You shouldn't care what people think or say about you. Plus this is no guy to like if he says mean things to you. I'd say get over him and find someone that you know would treat you like a real person and not call you ugly.
