Ever since Thanksgiving, when I visited relatives in a cold/windy climate, my lips have been very chapped- especially after I returned home. Now, it looks like it's in the healing process, but my lips are extremely dry/flaky. I tried using cocoa butter, which works for a while...and I've tried vasaline, which also works, but when i wake up, my lips are still dry and flaky. Is there anything else I could do to make my chapped lips better... something that'll actually take care of it? There's lots of dry skin, I think mainly since it's beginning to heal, but it's taking forever to get better.

Buy a pack of carmex and before you go to sleep LAYER it on, above your lips & around them, its okay to go outside your lips even if it looks stupid haha. The next morning mine usually are totally healed. If not just keep doing it.

Well the other night, I had my boyfriend over at my house and we were up late talking. I decided to model some really short shorts I have for him. I've never worn shorts before for him so I thought it'd be a nice treat. So I put them on and asked his opinion. He said they looked nice, but I could tell he had other ideas. I asked him what he really thought and he asked if I wanted him to be honest. I said yes, and he said I have a bit of cellulite which would put some people off but he still likes my "rear end." Of course I was very hurt by this and went straight to bed. In the morning he had written me a note saying he was sorry and he loved how I looked, he was just saying that some people wouldn't like it, but he still thought I was hot.

Yes.. I know he apologised, and it really is no big deal, but my boyfriend has a tendency to put me down [without realizing it at times] Like once he told me I shouldn't eat so much junk food. Also he told me once I could do with losing weight (I had asked him if I needed to) He did apologise for that saying he was wrong, but still. I guess I'm learning now not to ask him things I know I won't like the answer to!

What hurt more was today I asked if he'd prefer me to be more like this girl we know called Bessie. Bessie is the stereotypical teenage male's fantasy..blonde, tanned, tall, etc. (everything I'm not!) She did modelling for some sports mag. He had liked her previously. He said no he wouldn't, but then I asked if she had liked him back before we went out would he have chosen her over me? He said maybe he would've, but he said she'd never have been interested in him and he didn't like her enough to make a move. But still, he's with me, why aren't I good enough?

What do I do? Am I making a big deal? He knows I'm insecure. He does genuinely feel bad when he upsets me but I don't get why he keeps doing it?

ive had my side bangs for about a year and a half now, its not a middle part, its over to the right...and they arnt smooth, they always like part and it looks really stringy (like, i can keep them to the side and stuff, but they dont stay in place, the front part always falls in front of my face) how do i get them to look like put together like this

I have bought a new coat, i dont no wether to wear it to school or not on monday or wait until after xmas because my friends will go out and get it one very simalar which is very annoying as its really nice and different! I shouldnt have to not wear it on monday just because my friends will copy it as they usually do but I dont know what other way there is? My neice is mentally retarded. We just found out. My sister was hysterical. My mom was crying. My dad was very mad/sad. I felt nothing. Is this wrong? I love my neice and care about her, but i don't care if shes retarded. I'll still love her the same. I feel bad for the troubles she will have to go through but i'm not really sad. My boyfriend and I both work at Six Flags, and we're both seventeen years old. On October 4th, we're going to an employee party and we wanted to dress up for the costume contest. The two ideas we had in mind, were:

That's the picture to the bacon & eggs costume, so you can get an idea of what it would look like. Me and my boyfriend are known for being funny, so I think we'd be able to pull off the bacon & eggs thing, yet, I think the fifties couple would be nicer in a way.

We'd also, probably go trick or treating with his little sister, so we'd wear it then. Also, there's events downtown where people dress up, so yeah.

Any ideas would be appreciated. We'd like to dress up as like, things that go together. Not like separate if that makes sense.

- he's in my computer class, and sits next to me. his feet are always close to mine, and he doesn't move them.

- he showed me his cell phone and let me mess around with it.

- when we walk out of the classroom, and he goes in front of me; theres a big crowd of people, but sometimes he looks over his shoulder to see if i'm there.

- we've made eye contact, and we talk to each other, meaning we look into each other's eyes when we talk.

- he always jokes about how slow of a typer he is and how fast i am. one time, he went "i hate you", when i finished an assignment and he wasn't even halfway done, and he smiled.

- he always smiles when i'm around.

- one time, he pushed the black handle on my chair to make it go down while i was typing something up. i rolled my eyes (jokingly).

- i was wearing coach sneakers, and i noticed that he kept looking at them, and he went "i didn't know that Coach made shoes". i was surprised haha..

- he's Christian, and when I was looking through his songs (he has the SLVR), and he goes "you probably don't know who the bands are", and I mentioned the Christian band Thousand Foot Krutch and his face lit up when I started talking about them. he also mentioned that he plays baseball.

13/f, I love to sing, but I decided to some videos of my singing on youtube. Bad idea. There's this guy who been harassing(sp) me. He says that I'm the worst singer on Youtube. How can that be? Youtube is world-wide. I don't think that everyone in the world thinks that I suck. But, now I want to sing anymore. I love to sing in all. But I have no more self-esteem left in my body. It's all been chopped off one by one. I sound like a drama queen, i know, but I'm serious. I have no self esteem left. What should I do? Should I stop singing, or just ignore that one guy and continue singing now knowing if I suck or not? Please someone help me.

Recently iv been having a really shitty time, Im 15.
Over the last few weeks i have had an abortion, one ofmy best friends has died, my parents have been arguing, my two best friends have drifted away from me and stopped speaking to me, and iv been feeling the lowest iv ever felt.
I didnt think that the abortion had really affected me mentally until recently.
But iv got it into my head that my friends death was somehow my punishment for having an abortion.
i know this is probably irrational and im normally quite a rational person buti canrt stop thinking it.
I feel really alone and now rarely leave teh house, and when i do, i just get really wrecked smokign drugs and drinkng spirits.
I cry all the time and cant stop myself.
i just feel so shitty and cant find any joy in doing anything.
I dont know what to do to sort myself out
im so confused.

I am very sorry that you have had to go through all of this, ecspecially so young. Your friend's death was not your fault, many people have abortions. It was your choice and you shouldn't feel guilty, the baby probably wouldn't have had a good life, you would be in school.. it's probably for the better. Spend a lot of time with your friends and if you talk about the loss of your friend, it might make you feel much better. Don't blame yourself. I really hope that everything gets better for you.
