Ever since Thanksgiving, when I visited relatives in a cold/windy climate, my lips have been very chapped- especially after I returned home. Now, it looks like it's in the healing process, but my lips are extremely dry/flaky. I tried using cocoa butter, which works for a while...and I've tried vasaline, which also works, but when i wake up, my lips are still dry and flaky. Is there anything else I could do to make my chapped lips better... something that'll actually take care of it? There's lots of dry skin, I think mainly since it's beginning to heal, but it's taking forever to get better.

The next morning mine usually are totally healed. If not just keep doing it. [ Hollister's advice column | Ask Hollister A Question ]
teardrops7 answered Thursday December 6 2007, 4:05 pm: i would try blistex, or carmex, and like give your lips a good helping like every time they start to feel less slick...o yeah and always put it on before you go outside or get in a windy area...
Brandi_S answered Thursday December 6 2007, 3:24 pm: I get the same problem every year. The only thing I have found to heal my dry/chapped lips is Blistex.
