what to wear?!?!?!? :(
i am going to a theatre to see the nutcraker with my boyfriend and his family and its the first time meeting them i have no idea weather i should wear a dress or what???? help me please!!!!

yes, dress to impress. when i went to see the nutcracker the other day, everybody was very dressed up. if your dress is strapless or has thin straps, wear something over it.

Get dressed up. It doesn't look as bad if you're too dressed up rather than too dress down. Go in something casual, but dressy. Something you don't wear a lot.

The Nutcracker is a ballet. Generrally, people dress up to go see old-fashioned art forms like ballets, orchestra concerts, and operas. It's a type of respect to the performers, in a way.
So I'd wear something semiformal, cute, slightly conservative (since you're meeting his family), that's appropriate for the weather.
Use your best judgment.

Wear a dress that is casual, but not TOOOO casual, just pretty & about knee length. Wear it with a cute pair of flats & curl your hair or something. Ask your bf what his mom is wearing.
