i am going to a theatre to see the nutcraker with my boyfriend and his family and its the first time meeting them i have no idea weather i should wear a dress or what???? help me please!!!!

Siren_Cytherea answered Wednesday December 19 2007, 2:26 am: The Nutcracker is a ballet. Generrally, people dress up to go see old-fashioned art forms like ballets, orchestra concerts, and operas. It's a type of respect to the performers, in a way.
So I'd wear something semiformal, cute, slightly conservative (since you're meeting his family), that's appropriate for the weather.
Use your best judgment.
