Is it possible to get used to love? I mean i've been going out with my bf for about 8 months and i dont know if have the same feelings for him anymore or unless im just used to love i mean i know i like it when i see him i get excited and get ready for hours and i make sure things have to be perfect my house has to be clean and smell good when he comes over. I have to look good i like to tell him about my day i like to hear about his. So is it just possibly that im just used to him loving me? That i dont feel it anymore. Sounds like the excitment of a new relationship is beginning to fade. This is normal. This is also when many young couples break up. Likewise, this is also the time when you might find that love can change in ways you didn't expect, and the two of you can develop a more "mature" form of love that could last a long time.
It would seem that by talking to each other and sharing about how your day went, that the two of you continue to bond and build your friendship that must always underly any romantic relationship, so that is clearly a good thing. ;)
Just continue to communicate openly with him and try to see eye-to-eye on matters of love and friendship. Love changes, it is just up to you on how you let it change and how you deal with those changes that are inevitable.

I am going to be getting married later on this year, but I'm having a few problems that I hoped someone can help me with. My fiance wants a VERY small wedding, if he had it his way, no one would be there except the preacher, him, and me. I have a large family that I know would get offended if I didn't invite them to the ceremony. I want a medium-size wedding, but I'm on an extrememly tight budget as I am still in college and he just got out of the Marines. Do you have any advice that you can help me with? As much as it might suck to do so, inform your family that it appears you might not be able to afford a larger wedding with many guests. Perhaps use that as leverage for getting your parents to help absorb some of the costs? My wife and I paid for the majority of our own wedding, but both our parents did a few little things here and there to help out (cake, photographer, church, and rehearsal dinner were paid for by them), and we took care of the rest.
While the marriage is a private affiar, I think it is fair to say that a wedding is not just for the couple to get married, but for friends and family to celebrate the new marriage. A lot of people seem to forget that.
Try to talk to your finace a bit, too, and get him to understand that your wedding is important to your family.

I have this problem with my singing. Im told by a few people that i am pretty good and all.. but i somehow dont have enough confidence in myself compared to a lot of othre people in my chorus. My music teacher is always cracking jokes on me about thank god that he doesnt have to hear my solo anymore and what not... But when I talk to him personally he tells me that if he didnt think that I was good then he wouldnt have chosen me for all county and all this stuff... and that i just need to work on my musicianship and all.. But somehow i am extremly confused... can someone help me figure this whole thing out?

I will guess that your voice has excellent quality to it - great tone, depth, etc... it might be that you lack control, need more discipline, and probalby need to work on your intonation. This is perfectly normal. I think you're probably being razzed a bit as an oblique way to try to inspire you. If you're being told that he thinks you've got potential privately, then he's really trying to encourage you to work hard because your teacher thinks you have the ability to really make something of your voice.
The only way to find out if he's right is to give it a shot.

i have a fever and my throat feels like its bleeding and when i swallow it hurts really badly, my mouth also produces thick spit which is kinda nasty... if any of you have any advice as to how i can get rid of this please help. thanks (link)

ditto what the Dreamer said... go see a doctor. Especially since you have discharge and a fever - this time of year is ripe for strep to spread rapidly as the temperature bobs up and down.

Well i'm a 16 year old girl, whose pretty,fun,and popular and I have alot of friends.But there is a problem that most people don't really see as a problem;i'm italian.Not everyone at my school, but a group of people constantly make jokes to me about my heritage.It all started on the first week on school when we had to write a paper about ourselfs (favorites,ethnic background,religion,ect.) so people could get to know us.well i put in there I was italian,and right after the class these girls came up to me and asked if my dad was in the mafia!what the hell is that about?no body has any respect now adays,and i guess it has to do with shows like the gottis and the sopranos(even tho i love them!) who give people the impression ALL italian-americans are like that,and that all italian-americans have dads like tony soprano.what should I do to get rid of this stigma and situation?thanks alot and I'll rate u a 5 if u don't act all bitchy about it!=)

Do these morons realize that the Mafia is Sicilian, not Italian? I mean, "MAFIA" is an acronym in Italian (as that's what they speak on Sicily) that, when translated, is "Death to the French". Take that bit of trivia as you will.
You've just found out that many people are really, really stupid. I bet if you looked at the heritage of many of those who just made fun of you, you'd find French (hey, why don't you surrender to me now!), Germans (you Nazi scum!), Russian (Commie Pinko!), English (ha ha, the US defeated you in that war!), and many other nationalities that I could name and dish out more stupid things that jackasses could say.
Me, I'm euromutt - German, French, English, Welsh, Russian, Polish, and supposedly Italian in there somewhere, though I've never seen it on a family tree.
Basically, tell the morons who say stupid things to you to stop watching so much television and to get a clue. Ask them what their heritage is, and if they can't answer, ask them why.

okay on wensday im getting my wisdom teeth pulled!! Im getting I think 4 pulled... im so scared too.. most of the people ive talked to says it hurts alot, which im sure it does, but Im more scared about waking up and like not know where I am or something because of all the medicine they are going to give me, etc.. if anyone has ever gotten their wisdom teeth pulled, comments on it would be great.. thanks =] (link)

Well, the question is, how bad are they? If you teeth are even part-way through the gums and not impacted, it might go relatively slowly. If they are down in there, and impacted into other teeth, they won't be pulled.... they'll be cut out of your jaw... yeah, doesn't exactly sound great does it? But really, you won't be awake for the process, so you won't care at the time.
Recovery varies from person to person. I know someone who was bedridden and wallowed in pain for days. That person was a wuss. I know someone else who came home, ate dinner, and went out to a party. That person is psychotic.
Odds are, you'll be somewhere in the middle - I won't lie, getting teeth removed from your head wil cause some residual pain after the fact. And it will take time to heal - so follow whatever instructions you're given.
And just remember, it'll only be a day or two of discomfort, and you'll likely be totally back to normal.
It's perfectly alright to be scared or nervous about the process - but so long as you have confidence in your doctor, and you know you can deal with it afterwards, you'll be fine.

Don't worry too much about it, and concentrate on your friendship. I guarantee you'd rather have more friends than boyfriends, thus, if he becomes a boyfriend, it happens. If it doesn't, don't fret it, he's still your friend. All "real" relationships start out on a solid basis of friendship.

Well, that is not exactly the easiest of questions to answer. I mean, we met in college, at first through chance meetings around and about - no big deal. It wasn't until later during freshmen year that we even started dating. I think we hit it off really well, with a lot of common interests and activities. Sophomore year was rockier, mostly due to the stresses of school, and things were fine by the end of that year. We got engaged our senior year and married two years later.
So, how did I know? It just happened. We built a strong friendship first, and added the whole romantic bit on top of that. Too many go for romance first, and totally blow off their friendship. My wife is my best friend. I knew it was "right" because of how well the two of us fit together. And determining that really does take time, and thankfully, we were patient enough to learn what we needed to know about each other to make it work. We'll have been married for 9 years this fall... but together as a couple for 14 (scary thought, eh?).

mp3 files are music files, and you can put those on cds. You can also put mpg or mpeg files on CD's and view them in your DVD player as videos/music videos, etc. What are wmv files? What can I put them on to view it on my DVD player. I downloaded a bunch of Degrassi episodes and they're in wmv mode and I don't know what to do with it. Can I use a CD rw or do I have to use a DVD rw?

wmv are Windows Media - Video files. It is generally considered a sub-par format and rather crappy. They are playable by the Windows Media Player. For the most part, they will not play in a DVD player. You'd need to convert them to another format, such as mpeg.

My mouths been so dry i dont know waht im going to do!!!!! its bothering me so much! i tried drinking lots of fluids and using this mouth wash for dry mouth and it doesnt seem to work! ive been sick lately and breathing through my mouth if that makes a difference..does anybody have any suggestions?? thank you! Are you on any sort of medication? Many medicines will cause dry-mouth as a side-effect. Most allergy medications can do this, as well as various other drugs.
Update: Tylenol, at least regular tylenol, shouldn't really cause it, to my knowledge. Tylenol, being acetaminophen, is just a antipyrretic / analgesic (fever reducer, pain reliever), so there's not much there to cause dry mouth. You might check what you've eaten, as some foods can cause it, or even check on the humidity of the air you're breathing - winter can be a pain on sapping moisture from your body.

Dating is NOT illegal. Especially if your parents are aware and consent to you dating. As you've already stated, having sex across certain age limits is illegal - and that limit varies from state to state, country to country.

I am really worried about my fiance. He spends his money and doesn't worry about the consiquences that come along with it. This morning he found that he only had $8 in his account after he had just put in a check over $200. He depends on other people, such as his family to help him when he needs cash. I am not working right now because of school, but I plan to get a job as soon as possible. My fiance has bills to pay and I am worried that his money problems will hurt our future. I cannot imagine a life without him and I am not going to let money get in the way of our relationship; but I would like to see him be more responsible with how he spends. Even after people tell him including me he doesn't listen. Does anyone have any suggestions? (link)

It might be worth it to teach him a lesson by having him bounce a check or two, or max-out a credit card. Yeah, it'll suck on credit rating reports, but it might take that kind of reality to kick his ass into realizing that he can't just throw money about like water.

Isn't the fear of failing enough of a motivator for you? Perhaps you need to get a few horrible grades to make you get some perspective? I would hope that knowing you have a lack of focus would be enough to motivate you to try a little harder and concentrate on your studies. No one can give you that motivation other than yourself.

Yes, you are tiny.
Fast metabolism? Do you feel hot? What's your average body temperature? Is it slightly higher than 98.6°F / 37°C?
Having a fast metabolism just means you burn through food faster - it will mean that you might grow really fast, and it usually means that you're sleepy all the time.
However, odds are, it won't last. I know some who used "fast metabolism" as their excuse for eating like crap all their life... then they got into their late 20s and wondered how they suddenly got all fat.. ;)
As with any metabolic rate, make sure you eat in the most healthy manner that you can. If you really want to gain weight, the best way is through muscle growth, so double check your diet and start working out - if you decide bulk isn't for you, then go for toning your muscles to stay in shape. It can't hurt.
