Fast metabolism? Do you feel hot? What's your average body temperature? Is it slightly higher than 98.6°F / 37°C?
Having a fast metabolism just means you burn through food faster - it will mean that you might grow really fast, and it usually means that you're sleepy all the time.
However, odds are, it won't last. I know some who used "fast metabolism" as their excuse for eating like crap all their life... then they got into their late 20s and wondered how they suddenly got all fat.. ;)
As with any metabolic rate, make sure you eat in the most healthy manner that you can. If you really want to gain weight, the best way is through muscle growth, so double check your diet and start working out - if you decide bulk isn't for you, then go for toning your muscles to stay in shape. It can't hurt. [ MFS's advice column | Ask MFS A Question ]
