I'm Christina, and I'm 27. I tend to be brutally honest when I give advice or an opinion. I don't tell people what they want to hear but rather what they need to hear. They don't always appreciate it at first, but I usually get a thank you in the end.

I think that Katie is prettier, but it all depends on what you think.

Honestly, Katie would be the better choice. She does okay in school, she likes acting, she's athletic, musically talented, & she's adventerous. She's family oriented, she's well liked & plays video games. I also kind of like the fact that she's prude. You'd probably her first everything, & she'd probably respect you more. Also, she seems like the type of girl to take things slow because of her morals & she's shy.

But it all depends on you. If you like MaryChelle over Katie, then date her. Only do what you wanna do & make sure it's the right decision & what will make you happiest. And if you decide to go out with Katie, be patient & move slow with her. And respect her decisions [you should do that with any girl, really]. Good luck!

I work out whenever I can and I eat between 1200-1800 cals per day. (normally around 1350)

Why am I fat?

I'm 5'2" and 158 pounds. is it just that I have a crappy metabolism? so what should i do just stop eating altogether and run 20 miles a day?

You are how you are because you're not getting enough calories or anything else so your body stores it.

Keep exercising, and eat healthy. But don't mistake eating healthy for cutting down your calories. You need a considerable amount [2200 or more], and by cutting down your calories, it's not helping. You can still eat healthy & get that amount of calories into your diet.

Don't take it completely out. Have it like once a day or something, or once every two weeks. Talk to your boyfriend about it & see what he has to say. If he gets pissed about it, then he's obviously not worth your time & he's become addicted.

i have anorexia and haven't gotten my period for about 4 months now, maybe 5 give or take. first, i was wondering if it's even possible for me to get pregnant anymore because of my loss of periods. also, i just had sex with my boyfriend. we DID use a condom correctly and he pulled out before coming. is there any way i could possibly get pregnant? i'm not freaking out it's just like my lack of periods to begin with prevents me from knowing if i can get pregnant or not. PLEASE ONLY ANSWER IF YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!!

Not eating causes your period not to come. As does stress and pregnancy.

Since you suffer from anorexia, your period isn't going to come -- so as much as it kills me to say this, it's "normal" for you.

I doubt you're pregnant. But you can still get pregnant. Just because you haven't gotten your period doesn't mean you can't get pregnant.

Okay, I am a 15 year old girl and I like a 16 year old boy who is a year ahead of me in school. He is super sweet, smart, but a little shy. He talks to me and smiles during our class together and sometimes he even looks back at me when i am not even talking to him. I think he likes you, but he's shy. Just keep talking to him & getting to know him. He'll open up more & he'll get more comfortable. Maybe ask him to hang out?

Today I have an interview to work in the beauty department at Walgreens. Due to some misunderstandings, we did not start off on the right foot, so I'd like to know how to make a good impression. What are some questions they may ask? What should I wear? Anything else helpful?

When they meet you for the interview, give them a handshake, smile & tell them it's nice to meet them. Be friendly, courteous & nice. Don't sound like you're forcing it though.

Dress nicely. Ripped jeans, flip flops & a hoodie won't do. Maybe get some nice dress pants or a skirt. Make sure your skirt isn't above the knee, and make sure that you're pants fit nicely. Not too tight, not too loose. Do your hair & makeup nicely. Don't make it look like it took forever, but make it look natural & good.

As for questions, they'll probably ask you what interests you about working there, what you'd bring to the company, if you like working with people, what positions you'd like to do, and why you think you'd be a good employee. Things like that. Keep your answers short but sweet & only make them semi-long if needed. Good luck at the interview!

Ok well it's almost my grad and i'm very stressed so I cry sometimes.

Sometimes i can hold it in and just need to be alone but when he sees me liek that he always goes in and bugs me about it til i talk and if i open my mouth at that momment then I cry.

When I cry he yells at me for crying like "what did i do?!"

He makes it seem like the ONLY REASON I can cry is if someone yelled at me.

I don't know if I can get someone to explain it to him that some girls are stressed and it's ok to cry and give them some space but everyone in my family is like that so I can't get them to.

And definitely nto my either because I dislike him so much now that if he steps into the room and lingers there for mroe then 10 mins then I'll burst out crying.

You don't hate your father. You're just stressed out because of graduation & you're a little upset that he doesn't give you space, but don't say that you hate him because you know you don't.

Just tell your father that you're super stressed & that you don't know what to do. Crying is normal when you're stressed out, and it's a way of calming yourself down. Also, when you're ready to talk -- you'll be there to do so.

If he doesn't seem to understand, then don't cry as much. When you're stressed, write your feelings down & blog or something. Or, just listen to music that makes you happy.

I failed my previous grade! I have to go to summer school, but I don't think I can make it to the next grade. I realy want to move on, but I know I won't be able to pay attention. My counsular said I was passing the grade I failed two weeks before school let out. I'm mad cuz she lied to me. I'm scared that I might fail summer school and be held back. HELP!!!!!!!!!

Just go to summer school. I believe that you can only go for two classes in summer school, and they're fairly easy. Passing summer school isn't hard, and neither is normal school. Just do your work, study when needed, and ask questions when you don't understand something.

If you can do that, you can pass. You just gotta work hard & be determined. So go to summer school, do the work, ask some questions & do what you've gotta do.

I highly doubt your counselor lied to you though. You probably did have a chance of passing, but you didn't do the work or try hard enough. I'm not giving either of you blame, but I doubt she lied to you about passing.

Although I agree with your father, I'm helping anyways.

Offer to pay for it yourself. Tell him you'll take really good care of it. Then if he allows you to, prove it to him.

Don't argue with him about it though. If you get an attitude & argue & yell, the answer will stay the same. Talk calmly, make some valid points, and see if anything changes. If nothing does change though, accept your fathers decision & wait until you're 18 so you can get it on your own without parental consent.

Ok, I really like this guy. Only the problem is, he hates my guts. I used to hate him too. I was in like 3rd grade when i started to hate him and he started to bully me. Now, i'm 13 and I really like him,but he only dates girls older than him and he's dating some high schooler. My friends tell me to forget him. He's... how should I put this... a bad boy. But i still like him. I'm a not too into dating things. I've only dated 3 times since 5th grade. My first experience was bad. Do what your friends are telling you. Although you may like this guy, your friends know what's best for you simply because they see the things you don't. They're looking out for you & if they say to forget him, then do it.

Since your first relationship experience was horrible [I'm guessing he was a bad boy too], who says this one won't be either? He could be a good boyfriend, you never know, but why take that chance? Abuse is a hard thing to get over & you're doing something a typical abused person would do -- go for the assholes. Honestly -- whether you believe it or not, you can do so much better. Maybe have your friends set you up with a nice boy who'll treat you right.

If things don't work out, don't flip. You're 13 & guys aren't everything. So don't get discouraged if things don't seem to work out for you, k? =)

An after party sounds like fun. I'm not sure when your dinner is, but if you have a Denny's up there [I've never been to Toronto. I went to Canada when I was 5, but I don't remember it much], then maybe go out to Denny's. I'm not exactly sure what's open at that time of night for you, so there's not much things you can do, but maybe try going to the beach or something if there's some rediculous body of water near you. I live in New York, so Lake Ontario is near my city, and I actually share the Fast Ferry with you, or I used to, haha.

okay today was last day of school and the last time im gonna see my close friend cause she is moving to korea tommorow.And then when the class ended i tried to hold my tears but i burst up crying but she didnt see it yet so she asked me to take a picture with her and she saw me crying and she was trying to cheer me up by saying "its okay" but i told her"its not okay your leaving" and she got quite and she stayed there for like 5 minutes because i was still crying but next thing you know she said'im going now dont cry okay?" and she turned back and went somewhere. and after that i cant stop crying for 3 hours and im not kidding what do you think about this? and why do you think she left when i was crying?

I think it's alright for you to be upset. She's a close [best] friend to you & you love her. It's gonna be really hard for you to let her go to Korea. Although there is nothing you can do to stop her from going, it's still going to hurt.

My reasoning for why she walked away would probably be that she didn't want to start crying. She probably wanted to end her last day with you on a happy note rather than a sad one. I'm sure she feels the same amount of pain but chooses not to show it.

It's alright to cry, so don't hold back. Just keep in touch as much as possible whether it be through email, letters, IM or phone & maybe see if she can visit during her summers there.

Okay, this is kind of long, but I really need answers.

Ok. So I have a crush on one of my coworkers. We work at a movie theatre together, and we always have a blast when we have the same shifts. I'm 17/f, and he's 22/m. So yes, there is an age difference. We've hung out with mutual friends a few times, and I've known him for almost a year.

He and I always did that sort of cutsey flirty thing, but even though I liked him, I always just figured he was only goofing around, not to be hurtful, but he just didn't think of me as more than a friend. Then monday night rolled around.

We were both working until close together and of course we were being very flirty, kinda joking around and hugging a lot. Then, when we were closed, he took me onto the roof of the building where we just talked and goofed around. Then we started hugging and kind of swaying. He kept joking about making out in the closet, asking me what I was thinking, all that kind of stuff.

So now I think he may in fact like me. After the evening ended, I sent him a text message saying "heh. next time just kiss me." and he responded with "yeah that was some pretty hard flirting, wasn't it?"

I dunno whether or not to make a move, though! We haven't really hung out one-on-one yet, and I have, in the past, ruined a friendship by thinking it was more than that. Should I wait for him to do something more? Or should I do something?

Honestly, if you like this guy, go for it. Make a move. He's been flirting with you -- you've been flirting with him so what's the problem?

If you're scared of ruining the friendship, ask him if he likes you before you do anything else. It might be a little forward, but he's the only who can tell you how he feels.

Since you feel a connection, ask him to hang out sometime when you guys have off. Maybe get some coffee or go out for lunch. Get to know each other some more & see how things develop. If he makes a move, you know he's interested so you can start dating.
