sorry, yet another BC question..But I've been on the pill for about a half a year now..and my period has been kind of off the past three times or so, and I would get it towards the very ending of the blue pills. The same thing happened this time, except my period only lasted one day..is this bad? Could i be pregnant? It has never happened before that it has only been one day long. (link)

I don't think you're pregnant. Periods can be really
weird. The pill can also cause them to be lighter than they were before you took them. So don't worry about it, your fine. And lucky too, the shorter the better! Just continue to take the pills and don't be afraid to call yours doctors office if you have major concerns. :)

My friend Monique has a lot of clothes (which are beatiful). She lives with her mom. And her mom does compliment her a lot (just not every day) on how beatiful Moniques clothes are. This morning Monique was wearing a lime green sweater and her mom told that she loved the sweater. Monique started to wonder why her mother didnt tell her that the sweater she wore yesterday was beautiful. So she asked her mother; why didnt you say my sweater yesterday was beautiful. Her mother said; Monique stop being insecure. It is like if you said to me gee mom you look good today, I wouldnt think you did not think I looked good yesterday; MY QUESTION: DO YOU THINK MONIQUE IS OVERREACTING. (link)

I think Monique is over reacting. Nobody can expect someone to compliment them on every single thing, everyday. Every once in a while a compliment is nice to give and get.
Monique's mom probably just thought it would be nice to compliment her today. Maybe Monique was feeling a little down and her mom felt it might cheer her up to hear she looked nice. :)

So my cat won't eat her wetfood. She eats her dry food perfectly fine, and I have tried every suggestion my Vet told me, but nothing worked. Yet I heard (from a friend) that if cats don't eat their wetfood they'll die or something? I do find it somewhat ridiculous but it worries me. Is that true? If so, what can I do? If not, any suggestions to help my cat eat her food?

None of the cats I know will eat canned cat food. They all eat dry food just fine and are all perfectly happy. So I don't really know why you want it to eat wet food, but it isn't going to die if it
doesn't. :)

Currently I am working in a Govt sector bank as an Asst Manager(Systems)for the past 8 months in India. I am an MCA(MAsters in Computer Application) by qualification and have passed out in June 2006. My problem is,
1. Though the bank gives me good perks and facilities, compared to the private IT industry salary is much lower.Also since it is the Govt sector, increments are meagre and promotions will be few and far between.
2.The learning curve in the bank is not much and I feel that I am in one hand, forgetting what i had learned during MCA, and on the other hand not gaining enough knowledge in the bank.
3.I am in a different city from my hometown. Situation at home demands my presence at my home.
So with all the above three situations I am in a dilemma about what to do. Sometimes I feel like quitting my present job but I dont know if that will be a sensible decision on my part. Please help me in taking a decision. (link)

Use the Internet to look for something in your hometown while working at your current job. I know
Monsters.com is a big one to try.
If you aren't happy in your current job then there is nothing wrong with looking for something else. I know Government jobs have good insurance benefits and all that too, but so do other places.
If you aren't being challenged enough you will get bored. You also need to keep your skills, so look for something that will let you use all you've learned.
Home should come first. If not it will cause you extra stress that nobody needs! So look for something close to home. :)

Well, it is my third time, dropping my question since, the answer is not comming deslaying...I feel very hurried for it please let me know my way to choose.
I'm a college student in second year.
Right from the begining of the college, I got into a relationship with a girl of a boyfriend. Her boyfriend was out of the country...she made it sure that, her boyfriend will not return back to the country any morrre. Before this could happyen she alsoy gave me a hint of her other passed boyfriend during her school whom she loved muchhh from class 7th to 11...then she was brutally jilted by him. When we got into relationship, we did what ever, was beyond our imaginations...we made out 3/4 times a day and with her, car, roaming even out of twon...she used to spend her some nights in my embrace in my lonely abode. Even I used to go to her place at nights and consuming love for each other. For one hour she didn't call me, I used to fight with her....for one day she didn't pick up my phone call...I was terribled...I followed her and finally found out that, despite my dedication to her, she has resumed with her ex-school boyfriend whom she loved much...again I could not see her be out of my life...I accepted her,,, I even noticed a big and cruel love bite in her tie righ near her vulva. Again, I could not resist chucking her out of my life...I seemed adicted to her accompany... what happened, she stopped spending time with me,,,I didn't feel well, and I said everything what I had seen...next time, when I called her, she gave the phone to her resumed boyfriend and he warned me, that, don't bother us...her resumed boyfriend does not know that, I'd had an affair with her for a sufficent and long time. Sometimes, I feel to fight with the boy..now need your advice, whether I should say everything to the guy and fight with him or shall I scandalize the girl??? Or shall I have to commit a suicide??? If she handed her boyfriend the phone when you called he probably already knows of your relationship with his girlfriend. I don't know that she would risk your maybe telling him otherwise.
You just need to move on. They don't want to be bothered by you, she has made her choice. Sounds like she used you while he was away.
No need to fight him. You may not like him but he didn't do anything to you.
No need to scandalize he because you can't scandalize someone with no morals.
Don't commit suicide either. Life goes on, there is another girl out there for you.

Alright so my friend mandy puts eyedrops in her water to like make her go poop? or something beause her mom wont by her have laxitves because shes trying to be a bluemic i guess she says she dosent take them all the time like once a month but can they really hurt her? or what is it doing to her body? and could it mess up her future like health problems? if so what. im pretty sure she only takes them once a month or so.

I've never heard of putting eye drops in water.
If you suspect she is trying to be bulimic then you need to tell an adult who will get her help. Do it before she really gets into it.
Bulimia can kill you. If she gets into throwing up it will rot her teeth. She could rupture her stomach
or esophagus. Overuse of laxatives will cause her to
become dependent on them. Major league constipation is what she will get. That's just a few things.
Get someone to help her. :)

Okay... well... I have never had a relationship. Ever. And I know it isn't bad that I haven't, but I always feel so low about myself because I don't. All my friends say I'm pretty and that guys like me, but I really don't think so. Now I put this under love life for a reason.
Is there any possible way for picky me to find someone. I'm shy, and I like some guys but do not know how to approach them.
And if you don't have any relationship advice for me, could someone at least help me be more confident in myself? I'm tired of feeling low all the time. (link)

Today I heard my voice on someone's voicemail and it sounds AWFUL! The recording completely strips the tone out of my voice and makes me sound like a prepubescent boy. I don't sound like a girl at all!
I have two questions:
1. When I talk to someone over the phone, is that what my voice likely sounds like? Or is it just when recorded?
2. Is there anyway to improve what my voice sounds like recorded, like voice lessons or something?

Its probably what you sound like. I always get called mister and my sons friends used to just start blabbing to me thinking I was him.
If there is a cure to it I have never found it. Pretty soon it doesn't bother you anymore. Besides,
a deep voice can be very sexy! ;)

I'm 26 and my boyfriend is 29. He has a nine year old daughter. He and her mom got married when she was born but it was really unhappy, from what he says her mom never wanted him around. After five years they got a divorce and she moved to New Mexico, where her family is, and took their daughter. He didn't want his daughter to see any more fighting so he didn't fight for custody, he was afraid of the things his wife would do or say and couldn't afford a messy divorce anyway, but he did his best to keep in contact.
About a year ago he met me and we started dating, and we're totally in love, he's an amazing guy who does everything for me. And things are better between him and his ex wife... she's actually been letting him talk to his daugher, and last time he visited she was a lot nicer and let him be with his daughter the whole time.
The problem is that because he lives so far away from his daughter he can't visit very often. They're about 15 hours away in a tiny little town where he'd never get a job, but he could move to a city four hours away from them and maybe see her more. But he's not sure he wants that, especially since I love my job so much and we're talking about getting engaged. It's really up to me... if I tell him I'll follow him, we'll move. He sort of thinks sometimes that it's better for his daughter if he keeps his distance to avoid fighting with her mom, but my parents said if he wants to be a good dad he'll do whatever it takes to see her all the time.
I'm asking this question here because I bet some of you have divorced parents... did they do things to try and live by you? If not, how awful did that make your life? If you could ask your parent to give up their job and friends to come live by you and see you more instead of just calling on the phone, would you? If this is the guy for me, do we have to move, or does visiting 3-4 times a year make up for it? What if we just fly her out to spend summers with us? I really love my job here but I want to do the right thing for his little girl. Will we hurt her more by trying to see her, because it means fighting with her mom sometimes? Is my boyfriend a bad father for not doing EVERYTHING possible to get custody and be a dad? Please help, and don't be afraid to be honest, I need to hear the truth, I've been struggling with this problem a LOT. (link)

He really should go to where his daughter is. There is no reason he should have to see her mother except when he picks her up and drops her off.
He should never just not have contact with her because of her mother. That sends the wrong message to the daughter. She needs him in her life. She really does.
If you want to have a future with this guy, it should be close to his daughter. :)

Alright, this is the deal. I have an extremly
close group of bestfriends. We range from 13 to 14. We've all been friends since I can remember. So this year this girl we never really hangout with started hanging out with us. (We were really nice to her, she just felt left out... its hard to include her when all of us were so close). However we tried our best. So for the past couple months she hasnt been hanging out with us as much but we all still get along. So anyway getting to my point... the beginging of this week she told me she got raped. I had known for a long time she was seeing this older african american boy from another school. I'd met him once and he seemed kind of shady. She doesnt exactly have the same taste in boys as my closer friends and I do, we're into cute preppy suck ups (I know I know.) We were writing notes in LA class and I asked her why they broke up and she told me he forced himself on her and at first I didnt belive her beacuse she does a lot to get attention but I looked over and she was all teary eyed. And She's not the type of person to cry in class. What can I do ? I told her she should talk to someone but she wont. I promised her I wouldnt say anything... but this is horrible right? I just dont know. She told her sister... but her sister just thinks she wanted to, and wasnt raped. Who can I tell ? Or should I just not bother. I dont want her to get angry.

Don't tell anyone else. Just be there if she wants to discuss it with you. During those times encourage her to speak to her mother about it. The guy really needs to be arrested for what he did.
Don't keep bringing it up. She may not want to talk about it. But if she does, encourage her to tell an adult. :)

You shouldn't do it and further more she isn't ready to be anyone's wife. I'm sorry but you don't try to screw around with your fiances brother. Not if you love your fiance.
You also need to reevaluate your relationship. People in love do not even consider cheating. For ANY reason.
You do not under any circumstances hurt those you love. This Would be the ultimate betrayal of your brother. Do not do it.

okay well all my friends would tell you that i have the perfect life, i get perfect grades in school, i have a great relationship with my family, and up until now ive had no family troubles. this morning i found out that my dad was admitted into a phsyicatric hospital because he said something to his councelor that worried him. he has been having many many problems with his work because he is a cop and i just dont know how to deal with it. i have a competition for dance this weekend and i have never had to deal with anything like this before so its new to me. hes not gonna be there to see me dance like he always is. and i would just like some advice on how to handle this or what to do. thank you so much in advance. Go knock them out at your dance competition! I'm sure that's what your dad would want you to do.
Being a cop is a stressful job. Cops and other emergency workers see things everyday that people really shouldn't ever have to see in their lifetimes. For some people it sometimes gets to be just to much and they need a break. He needs a break. He will get better, he just needs some help with whatever it is.
So try not to worry. I know you will some, that's natural, just know he is being helped. Emergency workers really have it good as far as help is concerned. If they see a really horrible car accident or anything like that, they have doctors
and others who bring them in to talk about it.
If they need help they get it. It isn't allowed to drag on out of control. So he is being very well taken care of, okay?

i havent gotten my period since december and ive had it for like since june of 2005.
i never got it every month, but could it be because i lost alot of weight.

It could be the weight loss but we have no way of knowing that. If it has been that long you probably should talk to your mom and set up an appointment with your doctor to find out what is going on. :)
