well im 13 and i lost like 30 pounds since sept.
i havent gotten my period since december and ive had it for like since june of 2005.
i never got it every month, but could it be because i lost alot of weight.

im still eating enough, but will it come back like over time?

please help.

Your periods' probably stopped because you lost so much weight, you should remember that being skinny is a lot more unhealthy than being fat. But that mightn't be the reason your periods' stopped, one of my friends has had her period for ages and it just stopped for a whole year and she's perfectly healthy.
I myself have had my period for about 4 years or more and it's never followed any kind of pattern.
If your really worried, you might want to talk to some adult women (teachers, aunts, older sisters, mother ect.)If you don't want to talk to them, maybe you should read up on periods in you local library.

hey, well im not sure exactly whats wrong. none of us can diagnose whats wrong. you need to make an appointment with your gyno/doctor.

It could be the weight loss but we have no way of knowing that. If it has been that long you probably should talk to your mom and set up an appointment with your doctor to find out what is going on. :)
