Q: ok i always feel like i'm comparing myself to this girl at my school, shes soo pretty and she has an amazing bf. She has the cutest clothes and she is just really really pretty and i always try to be as skinny as her or as athletic and i always compare myself to her and i don't know what to do to stop myself b/c this is not me at all and i need helpp quick i'll rate 5s for any thoughts!

hey! well your first step would be to find things YOUR interested in. like find your sport, or hobby. and keep in shape but dont compare yourself to her...that's her not you. you need to be you. dress in clothes that you like and i'm sure you will find the "perfect b/f too. be yourself b/c if you are your flattering self then who knows someone might want to be like YOU!

Q: well,i like this guy. we're both the same age and in the same grade. (we're 14, in 9th grade) i've known him for 2 years and we're basically friends and all,right? I like him alot. I've liked him for 7 months or so. He's really nice and funny. I see him on the weekends and hang out with him. And my friend thinks he likes me. And sometimes I think so too,because it seems as if he's flirting with me at times. But then I dont know,he might just be friendly. But when I look at him, he looks at me and smiles after a couple of seconds. He teases me alot. And he helps me open my locker when I cant open it. We always try to trip each other,which is kinda strange I guess. But well...yeah stuff like that. And i dont know if he just likes me as a friend or more. and how can i tell him i like him? other than of course,just saying it straight out. well,i guess i could do that. but uhmm...yeah i dont know. and also...well,do you think he might like me?

i think that yeah he probably does like you! but you're gonna have to see. like maybe ask him who he likes, and if he like hesitates to answer or blushes or something, chances are it might be you but some guys dont wanna come straight out and say it. so maybe you could do that or have your friends ask him if he likes you. also sometime just i think you will have to tell him straight out...b/c sometimes guys dont take hints very well

Q: i am going to the movies on a double date next saturday and i was wondering what movie we should see. We want it to be romantic and not scary enough to give you nightmares but scary enough to coudle up with your boyfriend? ALso it has to be long because i never see my bf so i want it to be a long movie where i get to spend time w/ him. I rate P.S if it helps we are going to rockville cinemas 13 in rockville

well you could go see the new harry potter movie its really long and kinda tense i guess so you would have an excuse to cuddle up;)

Q: Hi, I'm 14 years old and 128 pounds. Everyday, I try to take a run for at least 15 minutes, or sometimes a mile and a half. It's been working really well so far -- it's only been a month and I've already lost around 10 pounds almost. This Thanksgiving weekend, I haven't found the time to run, and it's been probably 4 days since I last ran. Being always a little extra chubby, and having friends that are model gorgeous, I always have had a fear of being TOO fat or not looking great, etc. Now, since it's Thanksgiving weekend, I've eaten A LOT and haven't found the time to run. Will 4 days effect me that much? (Tomorrow I will most likely go run)

it might effect you a little bit, but since you run a lot then you will soon run it off and probably won't even notice that much of a thanksgiving effect before you start running again. i'm sure it will be fine

Q: I'm male, 17, and in high school.

Two of my friends, let's call them Enrique and Polly, went out for about nine months. Enrique is probably my best friend, and during this time, I became good friends with Polly as well. Recently (a few months ago or so), they broke up, and they've both gone through ups and downs, getting back together, breaking up again, dating other people, etc. Finally, it seems that they've really broken it off. I hang out with both of them a lot, but separately, because they feel awkward together. And I'm starting to get the impression that Polly likes me.

Now, the complicated part. I've had a purely physical (f-buddy) relationship with a girl I know, let's call her Edna, for the past month or so. We've made out many times and had sex once, and the tricky part is that we're both emotionally shy, and I'm not sure how she feels about me. She may want something more out of the relationship, and I'm confused as to whether she just wants an open thing going like we already have or if she would care if I dated someone else.

Unfortunately, long story short, Polly and I ended up making out. We got caught up in the moment and a lot of feelings came out, but now I'm in an unusual place. Polly feels that we need to tell Enrique. Enrique is going to be very upset when he hears this. As an added element, I'm worried about what Edna will think, since I'm not sure what she wants out of our relationship. I'm really confused as to what I should do here.

hmm..wow! that is like, really complicated! well i'm a girl so maybe i can give you some tips on how to most easily do this.......well it first depends on which girl you really want to be with. from just reading this it sounds like polly. so you have to tell edna that you're really sorry and hope she's not mad but you've found someone else who you like, and you think you two should see other people. she might be hurt at first, but since she hasnt hinted that she wants your relationship to go further, maybe there's someone she's crushing on too. as for your friend, well yeah it sounds like he liked polly, and she WAS HIS g/f. but before you talk to polly, be sure to talk this out with enrique. tell him your feelings for polly (maybe dont tell him you two made out though that might make him mad right now) tell him that you understand that the two of them went out but now you like polly, and if he doesnt mind that you want to go out with her. remember though he is your friend and if he doesnt want you two going out, then you shouldnt. hope i helped good luck!

Q: Backround: My mom's best friend's son is the guy i love. His name is Matt. We went to the beach with him last August for a day. He is 15 years old and lives in Merrick, NY with his family.

Now, im 13/f and I totally fell for him. He's so funny and made me smile so much. He's not the hottest guy in the world but his personality elevates his hottness. My family only sees him once in a while as in every couple of months. I don't have his SN or e-mailaddress or anything! One night I missed him so much, that I searched on Myspace for an HOUR AND A HALF searching for him! He is so much like me! He is only going to be about 5 foot 2. I'm supposed to be 4 foot 11. Yes im tiny...hes tiny...PERFECT!! The thing is...we don't know eachother that well. I'm so shy around people I don't know well, so i just smiled. We talked a little bit, nothing interesting. Since we were at the beach, i was in a bathing suit. I chose to wear a one-piece because i didn't want to be a slut around him. What do I do? Don't tell me I don't know love...love is for all ages. Q: Okay I'm 13/f and I have liked this one guy scince last year. Me and my one friend talked to him about it. Q: my bf gave me a hickey on tuesday and it hasnt lightened at all or anything..i mean its VERY noticable. its like very dark. i can wear my hair down the rest of the weekend and to school on monday. but for cheerleading i have to wear my hair up so idk how im going to do that without my whole squad seeing it cuz trust me they will. can anyone help mee!?

Q: I've always loved dance and my world basically revolves around it. I dance at my studio that I've been at for about 7 years and I'm on my high school drill team. I'm now a senior in high school and my drill coach has made my love of dance a pain in the ass. She is constantly ridiculing us and telling us how bad we are! And, because of her I've not only dread going to drill practice but dancing at my studio as well. :/

My mom thinks that I'm using my coach being a bitch for an excuse on why I want to quit. Do you think that one person can ruin the thing you love for you? Or is it just me not wanting to dance anymore?

no i definitley think that it IS your dance coach. i think if you want to quit b/c of her you should...but since you know you love to dance try to find another studio you can join so you can keep doing what you love!!:D

Q: I wore nailpolish on my toenails all summer and I took it off to let them breath and now my toenails (on my 2 big toes) are like orangish yellow.. its gross. I havent worn nailpolish on them for about a week now..and it hasnt gone away. How long does it take for it to go away? Does anyone know any ways to make it go away faster? Thx

hey! well since your nailpolish was on your toes all summer, then it will take it well longer than a week to go away. just give it as much time as it needs-believe me it will go away, but there is nothing to my knowledge you can do to make it go away faster. just don't repaint them till the yellow is gone. and hey-no one will see your toes since it's winter and you can wear shoes that cover up your toes pretty much all the time right now!

Q: Okay, I have a wonderful boyfriend. He's my best friend in the whole world, we talk about anything and everything. Trust is not an issue and never has been in about 7 months of dating. (And about a year of a friendship before that.) I want to spend the rest of my life with him. We've discussed all the issues that need to be discussed, such as our views on children, religion, and our personal goals for education and career, etc.
But I have another factor affecting my life that he doesn't know about, not because I don't trust him enough to tell him, but because of the huge impact that it would have on my life, my family, and him if I were to tell him. I have never told anyone about this and now that I've found love I see how stupid I've been in keeping it a secret and what the consequences of doing so could be. I feel like I have to tell him, and that if I just tell him everything would be okay, but I don't know. I don't know how he would take it or how my family would take it, and I know that it could possibly ruin a lot of things that I've worked for. I know I'm being a bit vague, but I need help on how to introduce this to my boyfriend and how to help him realize that it's not his fault that I haven't told him. And I think I need his help in introducing it to my parents as well.
Quite frankly, this is a huge leap into the unknown and I don't know how to make it. Has anyone had similar experiences that might help me sort through this?

hey! well you NEED to tell him. if you tell him, if he really really loves you he will be okay with whatever it is you tell him. **keep in mind if it is a HUGE deal to him then he might shy away for a few days just wanting to think things through...but if he loves you enough he will come back! good luck and be sure to emphasize how sorry you are you didnt mention it before, just that you didnt know how to say it or when to bring it up, and you just think now is the best time to bring everything out in the open.

hey! ok well i've been thinkin what to get people lately too. i'd say for you're cousin alley, one really cute idea is you know those tie blankets that are made out of fleece? those are really cute and easy to make and you can choose any colors/prints of fleece you want. also you could make her a tie pillow, if you didnt want to make a whole blanket. For your brother i dont really know what he's into, and i dont have any brothers but you could get him like a cd or movie or if he has xbox ps2, etc., you could get him a game for that. to top off your mom and dad's gifts...does your mom or dad like to read? if so you could get them each a book that they might like. umm lets see...oh yeah if you know of anywhere your mom likes to shop you could get her a gift card to there and maybe if your dad likes cabelas, bass pro, or something that idea could work for him too. i hope i helped have a merry cmas!! xoxo helpachick

Q: i have a hypocritical friend who is on my last nerve, she is very protective and wont let me have other friends. If we ever get into a fight she thinks that if she says sorry everything will be back to normal. She is really bugging me, but i cant just drop her. Help!

hey! wow that would really get on my nerves too! ummm well one thing you could do is just tell her how you feel like when youre in a fight and then she thinks everythings sunny again once she says sorry. also, make other friends. i know you said she won't let you, but maybe start going to like bball games she doesnt go to, or other sports events, and other things you know she wont be at. also, if you dont have some classes with her, try and also make friends with people there, that away you'll have more friends to help you make her realize she can't control you. hope i helped and good luck!!

Q: I have a unibrow..no doubt about it..but i started shaving for at least 5 months. Im not stupid and i new that it'd grow back darker and thicker. But i just thought i'd shave it all off before anyone could see. But now it's really dark and there are black dots.How do i get rid of it?

well what you have to do is wax. waxing for some people hurts at first and the first few times you do it but if you think about it its just like terring off a band-aid, its quick, easy and feels better once its done. only with waxing, it looks a whole lot better once its done too! waxing is the best way to go, and once you've done it enough times it doesnt hurt anymore

hey! well one thing that is really kewl, and that i am hoping for for cmas is a mp3 or ipod. if you love listening to music then that would be a totally awesome gift. i dont know if there's any movies or cd's you want, but those are always good ideas. also shoppings fun, and it sounds like you probably like it too, so maybe just like some gift certificates to stores you love. then you can shop and get things YOU want, not what your gramma thinks you would like:P well i hope i helped have a good c-mas!

hey...well the first and biggest precaution is do u REALLY want to do this??? you might really love your g/f//b/f...but what if you arent together forever, or what if you or your g/f (whichever you are) gets pregnant?? this COULD change your life-forever. but if you do decide to have sex then get really good condoms or take the pill..or maybe both...just make sure you are totally ready and totally ready for what could happen.

hey! well what i do is this...

**run all the way through the winter, whether your bundled up running outside or on a tredmill

**do as many crunches and streches everynight, and just make sure you do lots of streching to keep your leg muscles in tact!
