track.. I know its not the season for track yet but I've been wondering about this for a month or two... but I'm planning on trying out for the track team this year. I'm kind of out of shape so I was wondering what are some exercises I could do to help me get in shape?
Thanks. :)

Endurance work outs, which arent the heavy weights, but doing little things consistently. such as run and place moving your arms up and down fast with 8 pounds weights. If you have a Y or work out facillity, ask them about endurance training or get a trainer and ask him what your focusing on, endurance. You certainly want endurance training over heavy lifting. O and run a fresh good small mile to two ]
Running is probably a good idea for track. ]
hey! well what i do is this...
**run all the way through the winter, whether your bundled up running outside or on a tredmill
**do as many crunches and streches everynight, and just make sure you do lots of streching to keep your leg muscles in tact!
