mean friend

Question Posted Saturday November 26 2005, 2:55 pm

i have a hypocritical friend who is on my last nerve, she is very protective and wont let me have other friends. If we ever get into a fight she thinks that if she says sorry everything will be back to normal. She is really bugging me, but i cant just drop her. Help!

hey! wow that would really get on my nerves too! ummm well one thing you could do is just tell her how you feel like when youre in a fight and then she thinks everythings sunny again once she says sorry. also, make other friends. i know you said she won't let you, but maybe start going to like bball games she doesnt go to, or other sports events, and other things you know she wont be at. also, if you dont have some classes with her, try and also make friends with people there, that away you'll have more friends to help you make her realize she can't control you. hope i helped and good luck!!
