Beatiful120 answered Sunday November 27 2005, 1:37 am: Well I know what you're going through from a personally problem like your's.What you should do is wear some make up on the hickey which will blend in with your skin. [ Beatiful120's advice column | Ask Beatiful120 A Question ]
oneandonly345 answered Saturday November 26 2005, 10:58 pm: haha, i've been in this situtation before. but it was on my neck.
you can just put some conclear on it. and if people notice, they notice. i am . everyone, well hopefully, will get one in their life.
its not big deal if your squad sees it.
if they give you a hard time just ignore them, you had a good time.

CutiePieDri answered Saturday November 26 2005, 10:57 pm: OK so well you could always were a turtle neck or put makeup on it... also you can wear these neck chokers that come in all sizes and so like you can get a big one around your neck.. Hope I helped...
orphans answered Saturday November 26 2005, 9:58 pm: Hmmm... hickeys are always tough. I would go with lotion (perferaby with cocoa butter and/or vitamin E in it) Let it dry and then use make up to try to cover it as best you can.
If this all fails and the other cheerleaders notice and make comments about it just act cool about it and dont get all embarassed over it. Hickeys happen to everyone!
Future advice: Once you notice it, grab a couple spoons and put them in the freezer for about 30 minutes to an hour. Get one and hold it on it for about 5 to 10 minutes. Return it to the freezer and grab the second one. repeat this process over and over and it should eventually get lighter and lighter.
iiAdOrEyOuxOh answered Saturday November 26 2005, 9:13 pm: lol i've been in that position and yes it sucked! but um i just put on foundation on it! i hope this works for you as well as it did for me!
whyamimakingthis answered Saturday November 26 2005, 8:30 pm: well it would help to put lotion on it! it makes it less noticable. also you can wear concealer to cover it up.. and if anyone asks just say you got burned.. or be honest and tell the truth.
xoBALLERINAox answered Saturday November 26 2005, 8:24 pm: I would just pretend to be sick for practice soo u can etha sit uot or stay homme... thats what i would doo !
GDROB2 answered Saturday November 26 2005, 7:15 pm: Some of these answers are pretty awful. Toothpaste? Come on people will notice that more than the hickey. All you need to do is go about your normal business, put your hair up when you have to. If anyone says something to you than use this line "You're just jealous because it isn't you."
That will stop people with nose issues dead in their tracks. If you have a better on use it. Bottom line, in situations like this you really should not give a shit what anyone else thinks. Just think to yourself "At least I had fun..they didn't yesterday." or something like that. It's all it amounts to. Let them be nosy why care?
It's just like any other mark, zit, bite, bruise unless you allow them to get to you and draw it into something embarassing whereas you can cut them down cold before that develops. Hope this helps. [ GDROB2's advice column | Ask GDROB2 A Question ]
Siren_Cytherea answered Saturday November 26 2005, 7:11 pm: Haha, that sounds familiar.
If I were you, I would invest in Clinique Airbrush concealer. Works WONDERS. In the meantime, put foundation over it, and concealer, and powder to smooth it out. If you can wear a choker, I would.
I feel your pain, though. In the future, I believe if you freeze a metal spoon and apply pressure to the hickey...it's broken capillaries, and the cold helps that.
It should lighten a bit by monday, but covering it up with stuff should help.
By the way, I hope you got him back for that. Lol. If a guy gives me a hickey, he walks away with a matching mark. ^_^
Hope this helps a bit!

bubblesamin answered Saturday November 26 2005, 5:51 pm: Dear Hickey,
I don't really know what to do in this situation but try this. Try right before you go to school so you don't have to wear your hair down and be hot all day dabbing on some cover up on it then no one should notice. Then right before you go into practise dab on some more thats water resistant so your sweat doesn't make it come off!
hopeihelped answered Saturday November 26 2005, 5:42 pm: As others have said, concealers, foundations work fabulously. Also, use the color wheel to your advantage. The opposite of red is green. So what you do is you put on concealer, something green (a light green eyeshadow is perfectly okay), then another coat of concealer of foundation. It should work perfectly. There are concealers that you can buy with one side is skin colored, the other side is green.. but if you already have light green eyeshadow.. then you shouldn't waste your money. Good luck! elliajean1214 answered Saturday November 26 2005, 5:37 pm: Use a heavy cover up like stick foundation or powder to cream foundation. Also Joey New York Hide n' Heal works very well on things like that. Maybe if the hickey looks like a bruise you can tell your squad that it is a bruise. xxoBriannax answered Saturday November 26 2005, 5:35 pm: Use a big toothed comb on it and rub the hickey over and over again. Then put ice on it, then a hot, wet towel. Then use the comb again. I did that and mine went away in like 2 days. If it doesn't go away, then put make up on it. [ xxoBriannax's advice column | Ask xxoBriannax A Question ]
helpachick answered Saturday November 26 2005, 5:29 pm: hey! umm well i'm not sure if this would hide it completely, but have you tried putting like foundation on it?? try it and see if it might help make it at least not as noticable
