i sent papers to my inssurance company about getting botox injections for my exsess sweating, they need to read them to see if they will cover the cost of it. I sent them around the end of january begining of february and i still havnt heard from them. Does anyone have an idea on how much longer it would take for me to hear from them? Has anyone have to do this before?

Call your insurance company and make sure they received them. If so they should be able to tell you how much longer you have to wait.

I really like Barack Obama. I especially like that he uses public transportation to keep in touch with the people instead if using private jets and limos.
He is inexperienced but so far I really like him.
Hilary...don't like her. I have a problem with allowing anyone, regardless of their sex, to run the country when their own spouse can carry on with interns right under their nose. Be afraid she'd miss something really important by overlooking it.

This is extremely embarassing for me to ask.
I am an 18 year old girl from Egypt, but I moved to the USA when I was seven. My parents got me circumcised when I was six. I am worried that no one will want to marry me because I am circumcised, and will think I am gross. I am very worried because when doctors look at me (just check ups, nothing is wrong with me) they gasp, and make a very big deal out of it.

If the guy you choose loves you it won't make a difference to him. You will have to explain it to him unless he is native to your country of origin, because he won't understand it otherwise. You will do fine though.
Next time you visit your doctor,make a list of questions you want answers to and don't be afraid to ask them. I'm sure they don't mean to be rude, its just not something they are used to seeing. They will answer any questions you may have. :)
To any others answering this question, look it up.
I mention this because we have a lot of young advisers who may give you rude answers because they have never heard of girls being circumcised.
If they read the answers before them as they should this will help. :)

I am posting this because I am disappointed at seeing the same columnists in the featured section over again. There are apparently "20000+ Free Advice Volunteers" on this site, and to see the same columnist featured again in less than 4 months disappoints me. I am aware that some users have clicked no in reply to the site asking them if they would like to be a featured columnist, but there are plenty of other colmnists you could feature. I have seen ygsgirl and younggrandma featured before.

Make an appointment and talk to a doctor about this. They can tell you if you have a blockage and can also give you information on how best to get pregnant. There isn't any way you can tell yourself.
A doctor will have to give you an exam.

Im 16 and have been with my boyfriend for over a year now we have been having sex for about 8 months and have never had any problems. I have always know I had a septate Hymen and always worried that it could get in the way but it never seemed to as he is very careful. BUT...The other night he got it a bit wrong and snapped it at 1 end.It was VERY painful for a few seconds and i bled alot for a few hours and then a bit the next day and i was quite uncomfortable.I am fine now but as i have been able to analyse the 'damage' i know that it has left the rest of my hymen hanging there and it really is horrible. My boyfriend and I are very close so he knows about it and he says it doesnt bother him at all....but it really does look horrible,and has made me really worried about him going down there and having sex again.im worried its goin to get caught and i dont know what i should do as i have no one to talk to who can help. is this a common thing to happen and will my hymen wear away in time? A septate hymen (for those who don't know) is when the thin hymeneal membrane has a band of extra tissue in the middle that causes two small vaginal openings instead of one. Teens with a septate hymen may have trouble getting a tampon in or trouble getting a tampon out.
The treatment for a septate hymen is minor surgery to remove the extra band of tissue and create a normal sized vaginal opening. Most of the time though it will break during intercourse, so maybe
that is what happened the last time. Sure sounds like it! :)

Yes they can usually tell. Accidental cuts are usually jagged. Razors leave a pretty smooth cut...for lack of a better explanation.
Weather they tell your parents or not depends on your age and weather or not they feel you could be a suicide risk. If you talk to the doctor about your depression he/she may just tell mom you are depressed without going into detail. They may want to give you medication for it. That is not a bad thing. Doctors will keep in confidence what you tell them. If you don't tell them they will be more likely to say something to your parents. So get the help while you have the opportunity.
There really isn't much will happen to your wrist other than scaring in the future. You could very well get infection in any fresh cuts. Infections can get really gross. You want to avoid that at all costs. Please don't do it again.
There are many safer ways to get peoples attention. Dye your hair green or wear crazy outfits. Just don't hurt yourself. You are only hurting yourself, and in the long run, the other people at school probably could care less. Believe me, it gets old after awhile. Be more creative. :)

I always found Midol to work pretty good. It helps with bloating and headaches too.
If you are hurting at bedtime. A heating pad or bottle filled with hot water placed on your abdomen works VERY well. :)

I'm a girl, and it had been at least 4 weeks since I last had sex. But for some reason I started this horrible itching in my vagina and especially on the lips of my vagina and skin around my clitoris. I don't know what it is, I've never had this problem before. I had sex yesterday with the same guy I lost it to (he's the only one I'm sexually active with) but the itching started a few days ago. He says that he doesn't have any STD's. What is it? (link)

Vaginal itching does not necessarily mean you have an STD. It could be a yeast infection, it could be an allergy to the condom used, it could be any number of things. Any itching lasting longer than 3 days needs to be checked out by a doctor.

If you look it up online you will see that is not the case. Many have died of AIDS and many are probably infected with the disease.
Porn star John Holmes was diagnosed with the AIDS
virus in 1985 and continued to make movies until his death in 1988. He infected many people with the virus. I'm sure there were others who did the same.
He made big headlines though. After that happened I believe they now have to be tested often, as WiseAl
mentioned.
So, they actually do get and die of disease all the time. But they just aren't the type of "stars" who are going to get big press. Unless, like John Holmes they knowingly infect a bunch of people.

Its never to early to start buying things! You would be surprised at how many "little" things you'll need. Not that they are real costly but when you add them all up you are much better off buying them a little at a time.
Buy things like mops, broom, dust pan, cleaning supplies, trash cans, toilet paper, paper towel,
laundry baskets, laundry soap, scouring pads, wash clothes & towels, on and on. You get what I mean! :)
