1. Take a tape measure and measure around your rib cage (right beneath your bust line.) Take that number & add 5. Write that number down.
2. Measure your bust at it's fullest point & write that down.
3. Subtract that number (from step 2) FROM
the number (from step 1).
4. If your answer is, this is your CUP size:
0=A cup
1=B cup
2=C cup
3=D cup
4=DD cup
5=E cup
5. Your number from step 1 (after adding the 5) is your BAND size.
To answer your question: If your band size is riding up, your bra size is too loose. So adjust the band with a tighter hook. If that doesn't work, you'll need to find a small band size bra (ex: If you're at a 36B, switch to a 34B.) [ LadyH's advice column | Ask LadyH A Question ]
orphans answered Sunday March 11 2007, 8:28 pm: Well, when it rides up and your breast feel like thier being sqeezed then its probably too small, but if it goes up and it feels kinda loose then its probably to big. When you go and buy bras you should ask the clerk if they could measure you to find the right size! I hop i helped!
