I'm a girl, and it had been at least 4 weeks since I last had sex. But for some reason I started this horrible itching in my vagina and especially on the lips of my vagina and skin around my clitoris. I don't know what it is, I've never had this problem before. I had sex yesterday with the same guy I lost it to (he's the only one I'm sexually active with) but the itching started a few days ago. He says that he doesn't have any STD's. What is it?
StormBaller32 answered Sunday March 11 2007, 8:53 pm: even though you are sexually active i highly doubt it is an STD. i have had many yeast infections. and trust me they suck but as long as you go to the doctor, they will probably give you medicine(if it IS a yeast infection)and you'll be fine. they only last about a week.

So, i would probably reccomend going to a doctor to get it checked out, but its probably nothing to worry about. =^)
LadyH answered Sunday March 11 2007, 5:00 pm: It's possible it's a yeast infection. But if the itching has lasted more than a few days, it's best if you go to the doctor as soon as possible. [ LadyH's advice column | Ask LadyH A Question ]

advice_expert101 answered Sunday March 11 2007, 4:26 pm: maybe you just have itching but i really think it could be an std. he might not know he has one, or he might be lieing because alot of people do lie about that kind of stuff (why do you think the stds are stil going around). my friends mom had something similair and she went to the doctor to get it checked out and it turned out -yep she had an std. if i were you, go to a doctor and get checked out because if it is you dont want it to hurt you or get worse. and you can get it taken care of earlier.
