I need your opinion:
I have been love for four years.
I am 17 now.
Some people say I'm too young and others say that seventeen is ld enough to know what you want.
I've always been mature for my age and when I told everyone I was in love at fourteen, needless to say, they didn't believe it. But it has been years and I am still in love.
Do you think I'm "old enough" to be in love? If I am, then wasn't I old enough when I was fourteen because back then, I was sure I would be in love forever and I still am. (link)

People think of love as something familiar that everyone at least knows of if they don't personally experience it. What I'm sure a lot of people don't take into account is that love is a very fluid concept. No one can tell you if you're in love or not, how would they know? They aren't you.
Everyone has a different opinion about what love truly is. The fact is, there are different types of love. Consumate love, unconditional, etc. The love people most commonly try to identify with is as close to true love as you can get. And believe it or not, there is a such thing as too young for that type of love to exist. You have to spend so much time with someone to know that it's more than just passion and intimacy. That type of love is rare. I suppose it can be found at a young age (eg YG), but you can't really know for sure until later on in life.
My point is, yes you're in love if you believe you're in love, but your definition of love most certainly differs from others.

How old do you think you should be for it to be okay for you to start dating? I need a lot of opionions !! all ages!! please in your answer put how old you are because i really need a lot of different point of views...

Dating is fine for pretty much any age. I had a 'girlfriend' before elementary school. It's a different matter altogether when discussing a serious relationship. I don't think you should date seriously until you know you're absolutely ready. When it concerns your future, usually establishing some sort of life should come first.
Very serious relationships should start after college, semi-serious relationships in high school, before then you should really just have fun without concerning yourself with future plans.
Though, when it comes to dating, it might be a good idea to wait until one of you have a license. Having a parent or friend drive you to a date can be sort of a mood killer.

Okay so I bet your all sick of reading these questions but i need help...
I feel like i'm getting annoying to my boyfriend... idk how to explain this feeling but yeah its just like he never has time for anything else because of me. he never complains about it or anything and he's the nicest guy ever, but i just feel kind of bad... i don't really know what i'm trying to say here but yeah... any comments would help.

Alright, talking to him about this probably wouldn't help. If it is bothering him, he might lie to you and say it isn't. If he's a nice guy, he wouldn't want to hurt your feelings. I think you might want to just consider giving him more time for himself. If he has to cancel plans or put off anything he needs to do just to spend time with you, don't let him choose you over other priorities. At least not all the time.

ok so im in college and i really liked being single n all...liie going to parties and meeting new guys...no nothaving sex with them. Anyways i also really like this guy I know who Ive actually be dating for 4 days now. The point is i think i need to breakup with him cuz i have already cheated onhim and made out with other guys. but, its so hard to do because i really like him a lot. I know i cant stop cheating on him and partying and stuff...So, i do need to break up with him right?.....my second question is how. I think iwanna say that I cant commit myself to one person right now because that is the truth, but I dont want him to think I have already cheated on him eventhough i did. so maybe i should say something else?...like I just dont want a boyfriend?

This doesn't make you look as bad as you might think. You've only been dating for four days, so how serious could you possibly be? You're in college, a lot of people party all the time, so everything so far to me sounds like typical college stuff. So I would go with your first idea, but I wouldn't say that you couldn't commit. Maybe say you don't think you want to commit right now.

I don't think it's really about that. It's not the feeling of losing their virginity they want again, so trying to wait for time to tighten the walls is pretty pointless. They normally regret the circumstances in which they lost their virginity. Most people probably lose it before they're ready. Rarely will someone lose their virginity to someone they're going to spend the rest of their life with, and that probably has a lot to do with it. Really, a lot of the time it's also because they lose it to an asshole.
If I remember right, the average age is 17, though I can't remember where I got that information and I don't know how they could possibly get that type of information. Any statistic similar to this is made up from just one location and doesn't accurately represent everywhere.

Because contrary to popular belief, karma doesn't really hold true. You can be the nicest person in the world, all kinds of people would like you, but your life could still be a living hell. You could lose your job, lose a loved one, etc... The inverse is also true. Some people live wealthy, happy lives and get away with some of the most vicious acts. It's all because the way a lot of people percieve the world is false. The harsh reality is you never know what will happen and often times things don't happen for a good enough reason.

When someone likes you, there's no way you can dump them without hurting them. Is this a dump or a rejection? Either way, just tell him the truth. If you try to cushion the blow by not being honest, he probably won't understand and he might continue to pursue you.
He'll be hurt, but that's unavoidable. At least this way there's no misunderstandings.

You're friend is crossing a line and should realize this. It's okay to be jealous, that can't be helped, but he shouldn't try anything with you while he knows you don't feel the same way and he is in a relationship. Tell him something along these lines if you think something should be done about this.
As for this other guy you like, don't rush into a relationship with him. As you probably already know, that will always be awkward. Get to know him first. Go get something to eat somewhere or go to a movie instead of going straight to his place before you get to know him. Wait until you're actually comfortable around him and he doesn't seem like he's almost a stranger.

Ok, I know I haven't been on in a while, I've been busy. I'm doing....I want to say ok, but *shrug* I woke up today in a piss-poor mood and I've been like that for a better part of the day. Good news, I'm going into my Senior year. YAY! I haven't killed myself yet, like most thought and I'm in therapy dealing with my anxiety and whatnot. But I'm still falling back into some of my nasty habits that I use as an escape when I'm depressed :(
Well, like most of the other questions I ask you, this pertains to my wacky love life. Long story short, I got this friend who I mess around with on ocassion, I mean we're good friends and we respect each other, and as good as it may feel...I feel kinda used.... I have a lot of emotional problems with guys, I know that, and he knows that,we both kinda had messed up chilhoods. We have boundries and all, but....We're obviously not dating, so its just hormones and all that jazz. I want to call off the fooling around, seriously, it makes me feel bad afterward...like I'll never be good enough to...just be someone THAT important to him. Man, it sucks being me sometiems, but it could be worse. This guy is one of the few people I'm close to, cuz I don't like getting getting close to people. He's the person I confide in and I know that if I try to call it off it won't work. Oh, Storage what should I do?

Why would it not work? I suppose the only thing you can do is talk to him about it. Especially since this is bugging you so much. If he values your friendship, he'll understand. If he doesn't, then you're too good for him. If you have feelings for him and you don't think you're good enough, then tell him you have feelings for him. I don't just mess around with any girl, let alone a friend. I'm sure he doesn't either. If he does, again, you're too good for him.

I suppose the best way to go about this is to go as slow as you think you want to go with getting to know these girls. There's definitely going to be pros and cons when concerning each girl, so it's best to try to figure these out before you decide to date any of them. Aside from and even after this, there's no way to tell whether or not it's a match until you're actually involved. Keep in mind there's probably not just one person for everyone and I'm sure you'll do fine.

I've learned in my psychology classes that they, in fact, do not work.
Here is the best example I can think of:
A few years ago, this company developed what they thought was a solution to the education of autistic children. While those who were incapable of speaking couldn't answer, they could give a respond through an aid and a keyboard. It seemed to flourish until secrets started to surface. Children all over the place were confessing, through their aids, that they had been sexually abused by their parents, beaten, etc. Through investigation they found that none of the accusations were true.
It was all the 'aids' subconscious. Tests were run by having the aid's view blocked from the question while the child him/herself tried to answer. None of them could. The aid was subconsciously answering for them and unaware of it. It's the same principle with the ouija board. It's the same part of the subconscious that moves the pointer. Part of your subconscious moves it instead of a ghost or spirit.

A break is where you break up. Sure you might think you'll get back together, but really you might get back together if you just call it breaking up. There's no real difference. It's just something someone says to lessen the blow. I suppose you can look at it like taking a break from each other and your relationship, but that's still breaking up. Clearly your boyfriend doesn't know what it means either.
After you added the new information: Wait, so why are you asking what a break is if you two have already established what you think a break is? The relationship ended, it's as simple as that.

OK so... me and this guy went out and then he dumped me..then i asked him "why?" and he said "if i tell you it might break our friendship"(we are really good friends. Honestly? I think you should let it go. The reason could range from him getting bored with the situation or him simply not finding you attractive anymore to him having cheated on you. You aren't going to find a good answer in this search. What kind of reason are you looking for?

It was my week to feed the dog and I totally forgot because I got so caught up on going to a a carnival thing where "famous" people were going. I kept getting out of the house with my friends looking for good clothes and stuff like that, you know getting ready. So I TOTALLY forgot about the dog and left the poor thing with no food. I know it was my fault but I didnt want to get grounded from going so I blamed it on my brother. I told my mom that we switched weeks and we didnt. My brother will not talk to me because hes grounded for the rest of the month since the dog is sick. And it really sucks because its summer! Well I want to tell my mom that it was really my week but I dont know if I should. I am driving myself INSANE over this. Please helppp!!
