Most girls regret it and blame their mistake of letting it be taken on the male. That isn't true...most blame the male because they *thought* he loved her...or she thought she loved him. Really...deep inside they regret it for spreading their own legs to someone either so earlier...or so fakely. I dont regret it and I can say it with a clear heart. Even if I found out that my boyfriend of two years now doesn't love me...I'd know that the time we laid together that it was worth my heart.
The average age..normally averages from sometime in high school to the end of college.
After 11 years the 'cherry' normally grows back, if the women hasnt been sexually active, or used certain feminine products.

*WovenLynx* Hope I helped

1. Usually they regret it because usually they were blinded by what they THOUGHT was love when they were young (teenage) and going through tons of hormones.
Think about having to admit to your husband/wife all the people you've had sex with and you couldn't wait until them. And you might be giving your husband/wife STD's.
2. Average age... I don't know. Everyone is different. Some people think just because all their friends have they have to too (stupid). Some people wait until marriage.
3. Well say you had sex when you were 15 because your boyfriend said he wanted to and you wanted to make him "happy" so you did. When really he dumps you a few months later and all he used you for was sex. Don't get me wrong I'm sure there we're probably good times in that relationship but in the end all that came out of it was you losing your virginity forever and to a loser. Anyway, those people who had sex young and then wait until they are married are called second-hand virgins. I don't know if you would be tight again... maybe.

Hope I helped.

Well in my opinion females regret it because later on they figure out they lost their virginity to a loser who didnt care about them or anything.. i think they regret it also because somebody else better comes along that they probably wished they had sex with.. also some girls lose their virginity the wrong way like rape, being drunk or what not.. from what i can tell an average age a girl looses their virginity is 15/16 years old sometimes younger im not sure.. Lossing your virginity isnt always a bad thing if you loose it with somebody you love and everything.. but if you lost it in a way not choosen or with an asshole most likely you'll never get over it.. after doing one time you still should be pretty tight no matter the size.. so i believe yes in twenty years they'll still be tight.. ♥ Dez

I think the other people who responded covered it pretty well. Females generally seem to lose their virginity either later on in high school (junior/senior year) or within the first couple of years of college, though of course it varies because of location and other circumstances. I don't think someone would want to wait so that they are tight again, because there are excersizes for that and losing one's virginity for a girl isn't exactly pleasent most of the time anyway.

I don't know though...I'm a female (obviously), I lost my virginity at a pretty early age- and I still don't regret it years later. It really just depends on the person.

Belladonna answered Saturday September 24 2005, 10:52 pm:
I think many females lose their virginity for one of 3 reasons:
1) They feel they should because everyone has. In a group of friends, for example, everyone has lost it and so a girl thinks she must lose it too. They try and see it as something they have to do to fit in with their peers.

2) They get drunk at a party and lose it. Now, this is not a matter of choice, and the girl didn't have control over this situation. This is probably one of the most common ways teenagers lose their virginity.

3) They are blinded by what they think is "love" and want to please their boyfriend. In a way they feel they have to because they think their boyfriend will dump them for someone else if they don't put out.

I'm not saying this is the case for all of them. Many females don't regret losing their virginity at all. Anyway, I reckon the way to determine if you're ready to lose it is to think ahead to the future and how you'll feel in the distant future afterwards. If you think youll feel the same as you do now, then you're ready, but if you think you'll feel even one ounce of regret then you're not. It's good to pay attention to your conscience.

storageanddisposal answered Saturday September 24 2005, 10:20 pm:
I don't think it's really about that. It's not the feeling of losing their virginity they want again, so trying to wait for time to tighten the walls is pretty pointless. They normally regret the circumstances in which they lost their virginity. Most people probably lose it before they're ready. Rarely will someone lose their virginity to someone they're going to spend the rest of their life with, and that probably has a lot to do with it. Really, a lot of the time it's also because they lose it to an asshole.

If I remember right, the average age is 17, though I can't remember where I got that information and I don't know how they could possibly get that type of information. Any statistic similar to this is made up from just one location and doesn't accurately represent everywhere.
