it's weird now

Question Posted Saturday September 24 2005, 9:05 pm

The guy that I like and I are friends. I thought it was pretty easy to see that but today when we were talking he wanted to know who i liked. So I just told him so he wouldn't keep bugging me. I knew he didn't like me back, but he said "i don't know if we can hook up right now cause I like...whatever her name is." And I think its a little bit weird talking to him know just because. Is there anything I can do to get him to like me more than a friend or for it not to be weird to talk to him?

ps. the girl he likes likes him back but doesnt want a boyfriend right now. and they just went to the movies together with some other friends. so i don't know what to do and it really sucks. someone help me please!

Well he asked you and you told him. So now you have to deal with the consequences. IF you knew he didnt like you what made you tell him that you liked him?
You cant make any1 like you. Either its there or its not.
I guess to make things less awkward, you just have to go on as before he asked you. If you still like him, DONT let any1 know, unless you hear that he likes you.
You didnt say how good of friends you were. I mean if youre really good friends, you can simply tell him that when you said you liked him, you meant as a really good friend, because you know that he likes some1 else.
Its always hard when you like some1, but they like some1 else. Doesnt mean that your not gf material for some1 else.
Just hang in there. If he truly is your friend, knowing you like him wont change things between you.
Good Luck!

i read the other answer to your question that you got and obviously that person read it wrong, but anyways, you cant make someone like you, but i can try to help you get back to normal, my friend was is a similar situation recently,if your friends with someone theyre gonna care about you alot, and if you two are friends then he cares about you, just try to think about it like hes not at that point yet, and just remember that friendship is strong, he'll always love you even if he dosent likelike you

It does not have to be weird now. He made it weird for you. Why the hell would he ask who you like if he knew the answer? Also, why would he ask if he knew what he would say to you about the other girl? Someone wants you to feel bad so do not go there. If the girl denies going out with him or wanting him as her boyfriend that is fine they can lie. Just tell them if they bother you that you just do not care or have time for this shit. Move on hun, find a nice guy who values you and be happy. Let these two settle their stuff out. Neither seems worth the time.
