Hi,
You should have told us how many years you have had your period for. The amount of years or months matters in our response. If you have only had it for six months to a year or two years you may get your period any place, any time and it has nothing to do with having sex or not. It means you are irregular. All this is natural until a female develops a cycle and it becomes regular.
It's all hormonal but that is all that happened to you. Don't freak out but be sure to have tampons or pads as a standby. If your period has been around for a long time and this is unusal talk with a gynaecologist about it and then relax. Odds are this is all it is.

Number one let's talk about agents. A principal agent meaning one that represents you for just about everything from theatre, commercials, TV or movies GETS NO MONEY UPFRONT.
Anyone looking for money up front for a principal agent is to be run away from. Anyone wanting you to pay for photos upfront is also a crook as that is not how the business is done at least, not by the reputable. For a principal agent you need a ton of experience so rule it out for now. They'll never ask you for money they make 15-20% commision off your pay cheque.
What you need is a background agent. These people are the ones who put you in series or movies shooting on location near you. You get roughly $100.00 a day from the shoots and must be prompt. All they require are snapshots of you especially if you have several different styles showcase all of them. They will make an appointment with you and discuss everything.
The problem all background agents have are people who do it once, find out they hate the waiting around and pull out. This hurts the agent as they lose a client, sent your photos out to a variety of people and now have spent money, effort, time on someone who flaked out. You have to stick with it.
Background agents as well as those who are agents for kids are allowed by the SAG in the U.S. or ACTRA in Canada to charge you a fee to join to make sure that you don't go to one job and flake out on them or to ensure they make money if you never show up or do a contracted job or act unprofessionally and get kicked off a set.
The easiest thing for you to do is join youth theatre groups and do community theatre for credits right now and get a background agent. Use the Screen Actor's Guild list of reputable agents in your area. You MUST use that list or you can and will get SCEWED by someone unscrupulous that sees you coming.
Special notice: Do not sign with a modelling agency or anyone in a phone book with a big or small ad. Agents do not advertise for clients in the phone book ever. They rely on ACTRA or SAG and word of mouth for that.

Ok so there is this girl on my bus named jessica. And were arent friends or anything. And she told the kid across from me that her stepfather beats her. So me and the other kid decided that we would tell the guideance counseler about it. Well the other kid goes to Vo-tech during the day so he wanted me to tell the office. So I did. You did what you were supposed to do. Let the proper authorities deal with it. She may be nasty now because she loves her father as much as he may beat the tar out of her. She needs help and lord hopes she gets it. Whether or not she is angry with you does not matter at all now or the future. You had a responsibility.
In the end when she waskes up from this and gets the help she needs she will be happy you told. This is after all what she wanted no matter what anyone will tell you. She would not have opened her mouth to someone else with people in ear shot if she did not.Feel good and proud for doing the right thing.

You appear to have and describe having a cold sore. It is a virus passed through kissing or coming in contact with the lips of an infected person. It can leave a sore in the mouth or on the lips. It will fade but you can get an outbreak of them now and again. It is a non sexually transmitted nor STD kind of herpes.
It is a lower grade virus but unfortunately one you now have and can pass when an outbreak is present or it looks to be coming on. Hope this helps you.

well, my best friend and i are exactly the same practically and we always think the exact same. we pretty much agree on everything and she's really important to me
but, sometimes... we get mad for stupid reasons. we always make up like nothing happened, but sometimes she brings up really sad things like things that shes made fun (we make fun of each other all the time, jokingly) of me for , that actually hurt.
also, sometimes, she gets really into something and her school friends and her do things kind of against me. it really hurts sometimes
its not like im going to ditch her as a friend, but how could i cope with the things that happen, and how can i make myself feel better?

Chock it up to hormones. That is exactly what it is. During puberty girls are vicious with eachother more so than boys and say and do hurtful things to one another. The peer group is also a bothersome area with each girl fighting for leadership or to be heard and not shunned. Her friends do not like you so therefore she's stuck with what to say and do when around them.
Your job right now is to talk to her. Tell her what hurts you and let her do the same with herself. Then tell her it bloody well better not happen again as you are tired of the "Oh, I did not mean it." explanation and kiss, kiss, hug, hug BS when she goes back at it again and again.
Tell her straight up do not do this again to me and one more thing do not discuss me or put me down with your other friends as I would never do that to you. Explain it hurts and that true friends will not do that. Let her figure things out. Be clear on what you think is not acceptible. She is 13 so the maturity level may not have kicked in.

I got hired to work at the new superstore at a job fair last month. The store doesnt open until November but the training starts this month. People have already been called in to work including my friend, but he is in the maintenance department and I'm in clothing.
I''m concerned because I havent been called in yet.

NO! That is the way to make sure they never call you for work or give you awful shifts. Professionalism is key here and it means you never call someone over a decision on being hired or being used. If they want you they will call you to schedule work. Until they do forget about it and perhaps find something somewhere else. When they call and you have found something else tactfully let them know the wait forced you to find other work.

My 2 bests friends went out in 6th grade and 7th grade literally about 21 times. Thats really close to the real number. honestly. They havent gone out this year but I can still tell that my friend (the boy) still likes her and he denies it. But then at dances my other friend almost leads him on even though she has a boyfriend. For some reason it ticks me off because I know my guy friend still likess her even though he denies it but she leads him on and pins him against walls in a playful way but has a boyfriend. DO NOTHING SERIOUSLY. Never get involved between friends who may or may not have interest in one another. They will resent you being in the middle, saying something, or egging one or the other on. You will wind up with no friends (as I did in same situation) for doing anything or helping either out.
Yes, it is terrible she teases him like that and leads him on. She has a boyfriend and obviously must want her cake and icecream too. This is not your problem to solve or fix or talk to them about. It is in fact their problem to deal with and if you get involved as I said in either way your friends will leave you for favoring one over the other or telling the other information.
Your friend (the boy) is a big boy and knows what he wants. He has to know and learn she is leading him on for himself. So far, he thinks and I assume she does too that it is playful. Regardless of what it truly is he is old enough to find out and resolve the issues himself as is she. Stay out of this one for your own good no matter how much it pisses you off inside.

You are in the same boat as most teenage girls. Despite what any diagram says most girls have trouble inserting tampons for the first time. I have a hunch a lot of it has to do with being fearful of pain or hurting yourself by doing something wrong. If that is so do not worry.
You cannot possibly do something wrong like loose it inside of you or be unable to remove it. That is myth. I do know it can feel weird or uncomfortable from all the reading I have done as a counselor.
A tip that comes up is putting vaseline on the aplicator, put a foot on the rim of the toilet and try to slide it in. There is only one way you can go with it so it will with practice go in.
Your best bet would be to get online and go over to the best site for teens, parents, educators on sexuality called Scarleteen it has articles on this subject and questions from people who are having difficulty with it www.scarleteen.com Tampax and OB have sites as well with better instructions. The problem with this question is asking others to tell you what is important about the book and what stands out. Everybody who read it will have different feelings, thoughts and emotions on it. The teacher is looking to you to tell her/him what stands out to YOU AND YOU ALONE. They want to see your thought process, how the book affected you, made you think and what was the most important parts. It is a TEST OF YOUR CHARACTER AND ABILITIES TO RECALL INFORMATION and answer the question.
You would fail the assignment coming to me or us and asking what was important about the book? Everyone who reads this powerful book will have a different view. She wants to see your wrapped around what you thought was the most important points.
You read the book, you are intelligent so please trust yourself, go through it and write your assignment. You could get yourself an A if you log off the net, buckle down and write what you think uninfluenced. Trust me, as a writer and a professional one at that this is the best way to figure out what is inside you just write and write about that book and your thoughts and what was important and trim it down after reading it all.
This takes a ton of time each night but that is how to get an A versus a D. Go for it, let me know how it turned out.

Today we had to watch an "educational movie" in English and it was about drinking and driving. Well, the cop made a guy take the breathing test thing and on the machine it said, "please blow". My friend and I found that amusing so I decided to write "please blow" on his leg and draw an arrow pointing up (immature yeah, what high school kid isn't?). My teacher then came over and asked us what we were doing. I told him nothing and that I was just writing on my friends leg. He read what was written and wrote both of us up as a level 2 offence. That gives us a Saturday detention. We thought it was so unfair because I mean seriously, how does that deserve a Saturday D-hall? Should we try to fight back with our AP and tell him what we think or should we just take the punishment and go? (link)

You have to understand that writing please blow on someone's leg pointing to their penis is sexually suggestive and offensive to girls in the class especially if your friend stood up. The teacher was offended by it as well and decided to show you what he thought of something that should not be laughed off in his opinion.
Also, you disrespected him and his class by doing this and not paying attention to the lesson. He is trying to teach you to grow up, wise up and not be immature and actually come to class to learn. The most painful way he can do that is Saturday detentions and trust me he does not want to be there on his weekend with you two either but he is out to prove a point, right a wrong or too, and get you too guys to grow up and not do this anymore wasting your time and his.
Maybe you will think in the future and learn not to get detention or be roped in by others and buckle down and listen to the teacher and learn. Should you fight this?
Don't waste your time once the AP hears what you have to say he will agree with the teacher because you did indeed write something offensive and more importantly to them disrupted the class and there needs to be a lesson learned and penalty assessed.
I hope you see that what the drawing implied is the issue as well as stopping the class and nothing else. It is not personal on his or her part.

Sure there are a lot of things you can do. Your cable company should offer high-speed Internet access through fibre-optic cable lines and have nothing to do with your phone line at all. Make all the damn calls you want while you surf the Internet.
The biggest problem with cable is that it can go offline a lot, service interruptions just to fix a problem not even near your area, router connections dropping all the time. That's another thing how many computers do you actually have? If you have two or more you need to buy a LINKSYS NOT A D-LINK router, cables etc to link everyone onto the Internet.
Your best bet right now is to go for a service that is high-speed and has a built in router in the modem. Cable costs about $50 dollars a month with most services coming in at about $44 a month.
There are several services to choose from but I recommend high-speed DSL on an easy to use, teen, child and adult friendly service.
AOL is the best for being cheap and they give you a couple of months free with signing up and a highspeed modem and you can use your router for getting 2 or more computers on the Internet or buy from Best Buy their built in router/modem starter kit.
They will also bill a chequing account if there is no credit card. None of this screws up with the phone make all the calls you like. You need to get off of dialup anyway as it's so slow and you need your phone free.
Look into DSL (Direct Service Line) High-speed providers in the phone book and run a serach on Google of Internet Service Providers. Also, there is high-speed through digital phone lines that can in fact be used while on the phone and not cause any problems both go at the same time. Check Google and phone around. But yes, I am in favor of AOL for how cheap it is.

Im skinny, and i have been for my whole life. Im 5'10'', 105, and im NOT anorexic. I just started thise new medication, Adderall, for my narcolepsy, and it seems to be helping but one of the side affects is...anorexia/loss of appetite. since i started this medication i only eat once a day, and its something really small like a bowl of soup, pickle, ice cream, etc. I cant stop taking the medicine, so i need some suggestions. Is there some pill i can buy at my local Wal-greens that will make me hungry? Please help me because now, when i look/think about food, i feel sick. I can't get any skinner or i will dissapear!! Thank you for any help i really need to get some weight.

This is serious and please disregard any other advice not from an adult which I am. If you can only eat soup and once a day we have a big problem. You need to go to your doctor and tell him or her exactly what is happening on the phone and in person. This is not right regardless of any other medical condition. You need to eat regularly and retain your food. Go to emergency ASAP and check into a hospital and have them look you over. This is that kind of emergency situation.
Mention to them that this loss of apetite and inability to eat seems to be a side-effect. Why the hell would they give a medication that can cause an eating disorder to a young girl? Are you sure that is indeed a REAL side-effect?
Next, if anyone on here says go get X, YZ from over the counter etc LET ME KNOW that is dangerous suggestion and I will have to report it. No pill from Wal-Greens is going to help you retain weight or make you eat.
All you have to do is go to emergency at the local hospital and tell them I cannot eat anything but this, I'm hungry and tired and the medication is not working for me.
What they will do is keep you there until your doctor or someone on call can look you over including your stomach, find out what is not working and then they will adjust your medication so you can in fact eat and function normally again and watch out for certain signs.
While you have to have the medication you have to eat and retain your weight too. They will tell you how to do all of this and perhaps assign a nutritionist to help build your strength up. Some pills can also make you feel more hungry than need be or not at all. Point that out to them. They may if you cannot eat or are dehydrated put you on an IV of fluids.
So, what do you need to do? Put on your shoes and coat and go to the emergency room and get checked out. Doing anything less than that will not solve your problems. This is a serious issue and must be dealt with as such and without fear and you can do that. You will feel so much better afterward even if all they do is adjust the dose of a medication. It is very importanr whenever you feel or see something weird happening to get pills adjusted.

Ok, I'm an advicenator and always hate the boy questions, because there's so many, but now I actually have one, haha. I really like this guy, Drew. Last year, he ate in my lunch and we had chorus together. We flirted a lot. Like, at lunch, we would feed each other french fries! He was a little goofy-looking, but I still liked him. He even asked me to the Snowball, but it got cancelled. Well, this year, I hardly ever see him at all. I've only seen him a couple times. And he really changed. He cut his hair, so it's short and he spikes it, and highlighted it, so it's lighter. He's also wearing preppy clothes now. What I'm trying to say is...he got really hot. Actually, this letter is relatively short compared to the ones I have seen. Your problem is simple. You both liked eachother last year and a dance got cancelled. After that neight of you expressed interest in dating the other and hardly saw eachother at all and or phoned one another. Then he got super hot, you want him bad etc.
That's called a crush and LUST. You are lusting after something you want or cannot have and drooling like a dog with dinner left on the counter and not served yet. You wanted him and could have had him but cannot and just because he shows up with spikey hair and making your heart pitter patter he may not remember you or feel the same way as you were never friends or anything more.
He has a girlfriend and regardless of what anyone says a steady one being the girl to always be with him on a date. Hon, there is no chance right now between you and him and your only chance both of you decided not to take after that dance.
You will not be sucessfully in attempting to get a date to the movies with him or period. Your time came and went, he likes this other girl, and that is is it. Go to the movies with your friends and enjoy yourself but try to get over this guy all you can do is be his friend if anything right now with his mind on this other girl.
I would hate to see you get hurt and rejected by him over being in love with someone you cannot have. It is best to drop it now than later.

Get call screen added to your phone and a callscreen box if your phone does not have visual display. Make a log of each time the person calls and what was said. Your parents can have him or charged with harassment regardless of his ass especially if the call is loaded with swearing or anything filthy or suggestive or violent.
If he calls at all hours including ones reserved for slumber he can be charged quite easily. The easiest thing to do though is callscreen, get the number and block it on your blocked caller's list. And how will you get grounded over this? Comeon, he's the one doing the calling and not you. You cannot control it.

Regular masturbation should not tear your vagaina even if really going at it with fingers. Unless using a knife or something sharp or jagged there should be no way at all to tear the walls of the vagina. Make sure any toys are clean, not jagged etc and nails obviously cut and not sharp and you should be fine. It is a normal activity as you know and not many people find the walls of their vagina torn afterwards unless using something sharp or that cuts.

Atheist means that you do not whatsoever believe in God and or an afterlife. Agnostic really means that you are on the fence with the issue. You believe as an agnostic that you are here for some reason but are not taking a stance on whether there is a God, higher power etc or not.

I feel weird asking a fashion question...oh well.
Okay, so my eyes are hazel (greenish brownish most of the time, except when I cry and they turn tealish), and I tend to wear brown eyeshadow because it goes with everything (neutral). Unfortunately, that kind of makes my eyes look brown, too, and they're not. I'd like to find a color eyeshadow to wear that'll make my eyes look greener, and alternately one that will make them look bluer - they do change colors, but the majority of the color depends on what I'm wearing.
Eyeshadow colors, eyeliner colors...I don't wear mascara, so that's out.
Any ideas? I'm open to trying everything. =) (link)

You ought to go to the mall or pharmacy cosmetics counter and let them instruct you on what colors match your skin tone versus not. I will give you a hint though. If you have green or hazel eyes you will not want to wear anything dark around the eyes be in brown or black unless auditioning to be a racoon wanting to tip my garbage can over.
Look at Avril--I've actually see her without makeup it's too damn dark around the eyes. Stay away from brown, black, grey. Ask for something that opens up and draws people to the eyes. What you really need to do is go for the natural look which looks like you have nothing on. That right there will draw people to the eyes.
I am a guy and trust me if a girl has too much dark around the eyes or brown I am turned right off of her as it looks too dark. Also, watch that you wear light colored clothing or the darkness will make you look dark completely and depressing looking. That's my opinion. Go natural look or don't wear makeup--you would look better as would all females (well most girls) without it. It does nothing for me.
