I'm a mother of 2 boys who are 13 months apart. Talk about a handful. I'm a wife to the best husband I could have ever dreamed of.I'm one of the very blessed.
I have Bipolar 1 Disorder. I hate taking all these medications and always going to doctors appointments, but life is too short to let mental illness get the better of me.
Often times life is a challenge, and nobody knows that better than me. I wake up wondering if this is going to be a day my illness overpowers my meds, and either sends me flying like a bat out of hell, or leaves me laying on the couch like a wet dish rag.
Thank all that is good in the world that I have an excellent support system at home.

I'm honest, and that can either be a perk or s flaw. Depends on how you choose to look at it.

ive had a myspace before, but then my mom somehow found out about it, went through my history and made me delete it, so i did. then a few months later, i got one again. i figured if i deleted my history there would be no way shed find out. until my friend accidentally slipped and i had to delete it again.
my mom doesnt like myspace because of all the stuff that happens on it, like rapists and crap. i told her i could make it private and no one could see it, but she was like no i dont care, i still dont like myspace. basically, shes punishing me for what other people do. ive tried explaining that to her, but she wont listen. any ideas on how to convince her to let me have one?

I don't see that she is so much punishing you as much as she is trying to protect you. Feel lucky- many kids out there don't have parents who care about them in such matters.
My suggestion? Respect her for it. I know you don't like it, but she's just looking out for you, weather you can make it private or not.
I would not suggest to continue hiding it from her, either. If she were to find out you were going there behind her back, she may just yank your computer out of the wall, throw it in the driveway, and back over it repeatedly. I know MY mother would.

Know more than just signs and drug laws. Learn ALL of the laws of the road. You need to know these laws anyhow to be a safe motorist.
I know I sure don't want to drive down the road with my child in the car with people who only studied road signs, and not the things that really matter...
I was raised agnostic, which my family is. My dad was raised a conservative catholic, but now is totally against religion and so is my mom. I was always very distant from religion & actually disliked it. Now, being a senior in highschool I've suddenly become interested. How do I go about furthering this interest and finding information about it? My family already doesn't support this and I wouldn't even know what to do if I stepped inside a church.
To start, you need to figure out what you want to study up on. Study all of the religions if you so choose. From there, I would research online and at a library.
If you are interested in attending a certain church, go in sometime during the week and talk to the preacher. They will be MORE than happy to answer your questions and tell you anything you need to know. Don't worry about not knowing what to do when you step inside of a church. They want you to be there, and will do all that they can to teach you the ways of the church.
You don't need your family's support in this. They choose not to practice religion, but that is a choice they made for themselves. You have the right to choose for yourself.
So I know its illegal to have sex with someone over 18 if you are a minor... no big deal, we both are very strict about the wait till you aare married thing and i will not let my guard down. my quaetion is, is it still illegal if we date and i am a minor and he is 18 but we do not have sex or anything?
So far as I know, there is no law stating you can't date some one over the age of 18.
What you are referring to is an adult who has sex with a minor is commiting statutory rape. That is what's illegal.
So if you aren't having sex, you should be in the clear.
So i did stuff with my ex boyfriend who has a girlfriend then i told her cuz i felt bad about it but i still really like this guy but anyways she wont let him talk to me anymore now..how can i get him to talk..ive tried emailin he wont write back he doesnt see them cuz she deleted them first or he just doesnt write back he knows my voice on the fone so he hangs up wen he knows its me and hes always with her wen i see him ..i really need to get some answers from him, but i cant get him to talk..any idea?
Can you honestly blame her for not wanting him to talk to you? I can't. And good for him for trying to make things right with her by avoiding you. He must be somewhat intelligent to not want to upset her further by talking to you.
I doubt he is refusing to talk to you because she won't let him. I'm sure she asked him not to and he gladly obliged. He chooses to not speak to you, or he would at least answer your email. Also, lets be realistic here. He's surely angry with you for telling his girlfriend what happened.
My opinion? Drop it. He obviously feels your questions aren't important enough to risk his relationship to answer, so why should you? Drop it- let him go. He's not worth your effort anyway, considering what he did with you while having a girlfriend.
Hi, Im am 15 years old and 120 pounds. I had unprotected sex 2 days ago, and I was wondering my chances of pregnancy. I have been on the pill for a month now, and I know it is very effective in preventing pregnancy. My concern is that I was on the plecebo or "blank" pills while I had unprotected sex so I wasnt technecally on the hormonal pills. I start the hormonal pill in 1 day. I have been very good about taking the pill at the same time everyday, and I have only missed one day the entire month. also, It was around 2 days after I had my period. I would like to know what my chances of pregnancy. There was no form of birth control except that I had been on the pill for a month (ie no pull out method)
There's always a chance. However, your chance is a lot slimmer. Your best option is to wait to see if your period comes. If it becomes overdue 2 weeks, take a pregnancy test. Assuming you live in the US, your county health department will test you free of charge.
Word of advice: Even while on birth control, avoid unprotected sex. A condom is the only protection you have against getting sexually transmitted diseases. As I have said many a time before: A baby is a lifelong responsibility; AIDS is a life sentence.
For this next week, I'm going to be balancing 2 jobs. (1 is full time and the other is part time). There are a few times out of the week where I will be scheduled to work at both places (not at the same time though) - which will require me to be working 12-14 hours those days. Can anyone give me some tips on how to stay awake, energized and not worn out for that day and the following one? (This is only for this week by the way.)
I pulled off that stunt for almost a year. 14-16 hours most days of the week.
How did I do it? I love my coffee, for starters. Also, I stayed on my feet constantly busy doing something. At both jobs I was a cashier, so I was on my feet practically the whole time. If I had all of my work done, I'd find more to do, such as cleaning up and dusting things that others tended to neglect. I was constantly on the move doing something. Not only did it help me stay awake, but it made the time pass a lot faster.

i've been around alcohol my whole life, well just at like family parties and stuff. but since about last summer i've been drinking, a lot. at first i started with beers, but i don't really like that. so i turn to like vodka,brandy,scotch,whiskey. idk hard liqours. so like i don't drink a lot, because half the time i'm home and i haven't been able to sleep at a friends for a while because i got in trouble. but like i crave it all the time. if i go to my grandma's i always have a sip of scotch while i'm there. maybe more if i can. but like i just want more but i don't let myself incase my parents can tell or smell it on my breath. and if i'm at a friends house i'll drink till i feel sick. and i don't know i crave it all the time and if it was attainable i'd have it all the time probably..so like am i considered an alcoholic and if i am how can i like fix it so i'm not without going into rehab and stuff
also my oldest brother is pretty much one and my less older brother is becoming one
My suggestion? Your best bet would be to quit drinking, period. You aren't old enough anyhow.
The statistics say that teens who begin drinking by age 15 have a way higher chance of becoming dependant on alcohol than those who wait until they reach 21. So you are putting yourself at a risk of alcohol dependency.

My friend Haley's mom is elderly. Haley says that every time she asks her mom to clarify something her mom jumps down her throat. Haleys mom tells Haley you are going to send me to an early grave. In addition her mom gets mad at Haleys sister as well. Haley wants to know any suggestions on how to handle her mom and is this normal for her mother. Her mother is 82.
In all reality, we can't tell you for certain if this is normal. What can be done, is Haley can go talk to her mother's doctor if she has concerns about her mother's well being or mental state and try to find out what is best for her to do for her mother.
I can tell you that the woman is 82 years old. She has lived a long life, and it's probably been a hard life as well. I can honestly say if I live to be 82, I would probably get a little testy and impatient, myself.

My friend Daniela is not a saver and is very clean and neat. Her mother even tells friends and relatives; I have one daughter named Joanne that saves and one daughter named DANIELA that does NOT save. Last month Daniela brought home from work a menorah that is gorgeous and two months ago she brought home from work a jewelry box. HERE IS THE STORY: OK Yesterday, Daniela came home with a cover from a box of chocolate that really is a work of art. Daniela is going to frame it. So when Daniela came home last night she showed her mother the cover and her mother said; wow that is gorgeous; Her mother and she spoke about the cover and her mother said; Your coworkers are going to think you are a pack rat; Daniela said; why are you saying that; Her mother replied; because of the other times you brought things home; This bothered Daniela because Daniela is not a saver and neat. Daniela asked her friends; is my mom saying that she thinks I am a saver and a hoarder; HER friends said; No she is not saying that at all; MY QUESTION: DO you agree with Danielas friends?
First question: No, I don't agree with the friends on this one. Her mother said others will think she is a pack rat. That means she is saying that Daniela is a saver.
Second question: Yes, I do agree with her friends. You always ask questions that some one is reading into the remarks of others. Needlessly, of course.
She shouldn't worry about or even care what others think of her, weather about being a pack rat, too thin, too fat, too drawn, too whatever. Daniela doesn't seem to think she is a pack rat, so why should the opinion of others matter on the subject?

How could heaven be heaven if you know that 4 billion people are roasting in Hell just because they picked the wrong religion? I don't get that... I mean, if I were in heaven and I knew that, it would be Hell for me. And I know you can say, "well they chose wrong", but that doesn't seem to me like a reason for endless pain and suffering. There are perfectly good people down there. Thoughts?
I personally don't believe there is a right or wrong religion. I don't think most of the world will burn in Hell because they don't believe in the Christian religion. I believe what happens to you beyond this life is what you believe, not what some one else believes.
For a Christian to say a Buddhist will go to hell because of their belief, they are passing judgement. Thou shalt not judge.

You know, to be quite honest, an actual sincere apology would be one you come up with on your own.
Okay, I'm straight edge and have been for a while but all of a sudden I realized that medicine such as Advil or Midol or medicine of that sort is a form of legal drug. But straight edge is no drinking, smoking, casual sex and DRUGS.
Do medicine like that count as drugs or not? [Not using it to a degree where it turns illegal but for purpose like a headache or something]
Yes they are considered drugs, but doubtfully the sort you refer to. The drugs you are worried about are those that are abused.
Sometimes we need medicine to stay healthy. Penicillin is a drug, but sometimes we need it for infections to feel better. If you need something for a headache, I'm quite positive that it would be perfectly fine for you to take something to relieve your pain.
Take as directed on the bottle, and if you are ever given prescription drugs by a doctor, ALWAYS take as directed, and you will be doing just fine.

It is a risk to talk to him, but it is a risk to just let him go. What if he likes you, but doesn't know quite how to act on it? Guys can be bashful, too.
The worst he can do is say he isn't interested. I know, rejection sucks. I hate to be rejected, too, but it really isn't the end of the world, I promise. At least if he says he isn't interested, you will know for fact rather than wondering if you made a mistake by letting an opporitunity pass.
Okay, so I asked the question about making the DVD type of thing using the pictures and wedding song and you said that you did that with your wedding pictures and songs. I haven't gotten the pictures yet, but I was trying to practice using my own pictures just to make sure I could get it to work using windows movie maker. I'm having a problem with the song. I have the song on my itunes account for my ipod, and every time I try to import that song (and any other song) it comes up saying "The file C:\Documents and Settings\kate\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\iTunes Music\Rascal Flatts\Feels Like Today\02 Bless The Broken Road.m4a is not a supported file type, and it cannot be imported into Windows Movie Maker."
It says that with EVERY song I try (except ya know, the whole 'insert song title here' thing.)

The best and easiest way I found to import songs is to have them in your My Music folder under My Documents.
You may have to go to the file that has the song you want, right click, send to My Documents. Then open My Docs, scroll down to find the song file, drag the file over the top of My Music to place it in that folder. Import you songs from that folder.
Make sure it is a song that is saved to your computer. I tried to get a song from a disc, and couldn't get it to work until I actually saved that song to a computer file. Before I did that, once I removed the disc from the drive, it disappeared from windows movie maker.
