I'm 5'2" and weigh about 105 pounds. I am perfectly aware that I am NOT overweight. If anything, I am a few pounds underweight, and have no plans to lose weight. I have never been self concious about my weight.

Why do these girls who weigh even less than me and are taller than me insist on obsessing about losing weight!? Day after day I see these questions. "I weigh 50 pounds and am about 6 feet, am I fat like OMGZ?!?!" (Obvious exaggeration, you get the point.) What is wrong with everyone??... I don't want to hear that BS about "oh the media blah blah"... everyone blames EVERYTHING on the media. Why are all these little girls so freakin' impressionable?! I was never so impressionable to feel fat just because there was some anorexic model on the cover of some magazine. I think it's pathetic. Why are people like this?

All teenagers go through it, it is just a part of life. Its all of sorts of things that make girls want to bee so skinny; celeberities, edited magazine models, and all of your peers. All girls get their feelings hurt when a guy doesnt like them back and then he likes some super skinny blonde girl. The girl would then want to be like that girl and start going crazy and doing those stupid crash diets. Plus most of the time when girls go 'Oh my gosh Im so fat!' they are fishing for compliments so just try to ignore it.

what are some reasons (good please i have to write a paper for english) that teenagers think they are old enough to face the challenges of parenthood?

First off I might add that most teens cannot handle parenthood but Ill tell you why they think they can. Stubborness really. Like when an adult tells us something we cant do it makes us want to do it even more right? Well when adults tell us we cant handle parenthood, its makes us think we can. And we want to proove that we can. Also most teenagers dont think about little details so they think it is easier then it really is. And like you said the closeness in age. Of course the kid of the teen is going to think its fun to have like a 20 something year old mom but what kids need is a stable home with a good family and not only a mom because the dad left after he was done. Sorry if this was not what you are looking for but I feel so bad for the kids lives that are ruined because their parents were young and had unprotected sex and it just messes up the kids life. I don't know what to do! I'm writing a research paper/persuasive essay on how schools should not use uniforms, and I can't find any resources! I googled it, no luck there. The outline is due tomorrow and I'm scared. Can anyone help me?!

My parents never let me, nor take me to get my hair cut. I want bangs so bad, so im thinking about cutting them myself. I have the proper scissors for it, I just need like on strand. But i dont know how to do it and i dont want to screw my hair up. Any tips on how to do it nicely?

NO NO NO.
DO NOT cut it yourself. 99% chance it will look bad. (no offense) its just your not seeing it straight on so it will be way harder. Either go get it done yourself at the mall or something, or have a friend do it. A friend that has done it before. Good luck hun!

there is this guy i met last summer at camp, and my group which was a co-ed group consisted of him. and he's really annoying me like on myspace when i put the bullentin boyfriend application a couple of days ago he said he was attracted to me/liked me and another application i posted a couple months before he said he liked me, and im #3 on his top 8 friends, but on his bday a couple of weeks ago he asked me for money hes like k if you want to give me anything give me money cause if you don't mind i want some money for my bday and i thought it was completeley rude, and to tell you the truth he's not that attractive and personality wise he is obnoxious and annoying. i haven't spoken to hiim in a long time which is good for me, but his headlines on myspace are also strange like "She's so hot" etc and i want to also ask him why he has these weird headlines by sending him a message but do you think thats too rude. But what should i do about the other part.
note- at camp he was stalking me everywere i went grrr.

Okay if you are rude to him that would be like the pot calling the kettle black. Basically dont stoop to his level and be a jerk back so try to be nice but let him get the hint. Messaging him would not be rude unless you were obnoxious in the message. Just say something like, 'so whats up with those headlines lol?' then if he keeps on hitting on you like stalking you and stuff then just tell him you only wanna be friends. I have medium length hair, its about 6 inches below my shoulders. I have a winter dance coming up soon, what are some cute hair styles i could use? I plan on getting my hair done by a stylist so i need a picture to show them.

Does anyone know of an eyeliner that is waterproof and wont smudge?

1. Almay Amazing Lasting 16 Hour Eye Pencil
2. Aziza II Silklining Eye Pencil in Black

I own both of these and use whichever one I find first. They both work very well and the number one is waterproof. Number two does smudge a little but I only notice it like at seven at night around there and I put it on at like 6 in the morning. Good luck hun!

ok i want to go skating at 6:00 but i have my period, is there anything i could do to not leak? pleez dont say use a tampon or two pads thx!

There really is nothing else you can do besides wear a pad or tampon. Unless you have a really heavy flow there is nothing to worry about. It probably wont leak. Dont wear two pads because that would be uncomfortable. I would suggest a tampon, but you do have to change those more frequently then a pad. It is up to you but definately check it if its been over 4 hours. Good luck hun!

I really feel awful right now so I'll sum it up. When I got to my last class today a friend told me I was really stained. I went to the bathroom and i had blood on the back of my pants. It's so embarrasing. I feel like becoming a hermit crab. Share your experiences with me please.

Aww its okay Ive had many bad experiances with my period.

1. Okay so about a year ago I had bought this really cute white skirt. My period wasnt supposed to start for about another week but it surprized me at school. So you could imagine, I walked around for about three classes untill I found a friend who had an extra tampon I could use. Then I had to change into PE shorts for the rest of the day.

2. When I was in 7th grade this really cute and nice guy that finally noticed me asked me if I wanted to hang out. We decided to go miniture golfing cause you know the guy can 'help' you hit the ball. I was so excited so I went and bought a whole new outfit. I had these light jeands and a light pink shirt. I was so excited that I forgot that I was supposed to start my period around the next day or two. So guess what? I walked around the whole night with a blood stain on the back of my pants because the guy was afraid to tell me! I really wish he would have but you know how guys are sometimes.

Those are only two of many embaressing stories that have happened to me. Dont worry it is probably old buisness and everyone will forget probably in a few days. Hope you feel better hun!

My friend likes this guy named Tyler. I was pretty much going out with him in the summer, and I've never gotten over him. My friend thought I was over him (thats what I told her), and so then they started liking each other. Now, Tyler likes me AND her, and I like him back. Should I tell my friend this, or just wait to see what happens?

Its really up to you. If you dont tell her then they might go out and you will be hurt so just tell her and since she is your friend she will probably understand. From then on its up to the guy. Good luck!

Uhh yea fight it off lol. That would be totally wrong if you guys went out. It is not that big of a deal because he doesnt really feel like family because you dont see him everyday like your parents in such so dont feel down on yourself for it. Its not bad that your thinking about going out with him if you werent family and you were old, it would just be bad if you went through with it but I doubt you will. Good luck.

Well does she KNOW you want him back? Because of course if you guys are broken up and she doesnt know she is going to think it is not a big deal. Well this is how MANY friendships are ruined, guys. All I did was copy this from the page in advicenators that shows you so you dont have to go to the link you can just read this.

Okay, to be a featured user (shown on the main page) you must meet all these criteria:

Have some bio information down (you can also do this on your settings page) that we don't mind showing on the main page (that means it's gotta be clean and nice-sounding)

Have not been featured in the past 30 days
Each day there's a script that automatically makes a list of all the people who qualify for featured userdom and picks one of these people at random.

i love my bf, but he is the biggest prude that ever existed. honestly, i've dealt with it this far but it's starting to really frustrate me now. i'm not sex obsessed but i want things to be a little more intimate with us, and our conversations are always so clean and superficial. i know he respects me and i appreciate that but i'm getting a little bored with things. when i spoke to him about it he says "he doesn't mind if we talk suggestively" but that just made me feel like it was only me who wanted it and was pushing it onto him. i'm starting to believe he doesn't trust me and doesn't feel comfortable with me.. even though we've been friends for years. btw, its an online thing we have. what can I do about this?

Wait...so its one of those online relationships? Maybe thats why. If it is and you guys dont know eachother in person then maybe he feels awkward talking to you about it.

If you guys do know eachother in person then you need to talk to him in person not online. Be nice about it and just ask him why he doesnt wanna talk about 'a little more'

+ Stay up late the night before to make your eyes baggy
+ Cough a lot
+ Make that sniffing noise alot
+ Put eye drops in your eyes to make them watery
+ Make yourself cry because your 'so sick'
