Technically you aren't really dating, but you do stuff that a couple would do. So, if he wanted to do "stuff" with you and then have a girlfriend, he could. Because he's not commited to anything, its okay (so he thinks) Its stuff for a shallow guy to do. Other times, it can mean you can have a lot of fun with this guy and yet still be single and not commited, so it depends on how you look at it. We mean to say is that we have this one guy friend, we'll call him Bob. Bob is great, he loves to flirt and do some crazy stuff with us (nothing sexual though) and yet we can go back to normal right after we do whatever it was we were doing. Like if one of us needs a boyfriend for the night, then sure, he'll be there to do it. He'll hold one of our hands and hug, like we are actually a couple, but after the fact, we will go right back to normal. So it depends all on how you look at it. A boyfriend and a girlfriend is a couple who intrest in each other and wish to know each other more. [ Lady_XX_Love's advice column | Ask Lady_XX_Love A Question ]

farfromsimple answered Monday January 2 2006, 10:29 pm: means you are physically active with each other but are still considered single and free to do what you please...the only problem is that almost always one person begins having feelings for the other and that creates problems...it sounds fun and simple but often becomes more trouble than its worth [ farfromsimple's advice column | Ask farfromsimple A Question ]
MummuM answered Monday January 2 2006, 10:29 pm: Being girlfriend and boyfriend means you're in a relationship. You're together and you call one other yours. You're not single.
Having a friend with benefits, means they're just friends with you. Even though, you're able to fool around with them and do sexual things, but are still single. ♥ [ MummuM's advice column | Ask MummuM A Question ]

iiloveyou answered Monday January 2 2006, 11:57 am: friends with benefits means that you can hook up with a guy, and then go and do it with another guy, or just stay with that one guy and not be boyfriend and girlfriend . when your going out then you have to be honest with eachother and not cheat on him, but when your fwb then you dont have to go through the breakup process, and thats why people do it these days .
x0brittany0x answered Monday January 2 2006, 11:53 am: Its different because when your boyfriend and girlfriend you can't hook-up with other people, when your friends with benefits you can hook-up with other people and it wouldn't be cheating because the other person can do the same.
wjpool answered Monday January 2 2006, 11:14 am: it si basically uou can messs around with the person but you guys are not going out so he can go mess around with some one else or soemtiems they just do that becasue it is better adn makes them feel more comfortable [ wjpool's advice column | Ask wjpool A Question ]
KiSSxMYxPEARLS answered Monday January 2 2006, 5:37 am: Being friends with benefits is that you can still hook up with other people. And yet you can always go back to your "benefit" person. It's different because being boyfriend & girlfriend, you have to committ and not cheat on each other.
