you have to get something called "Ipod Updater 2005-03-23" just search for it in www.google.com and then download it.. i had the same problem. so i just download that and you click restore and it deletes alll of your songs off there and then you go on your itunes and take the songs off that you dont want by rick clicking and hitting clear.. and then you update it again.! so yeah ok...

well this is what you do for the mini .. you go to iTunes and the songs that you don't want anymore, delete them off of iTunes and then hook up your iPod and update it. and it should work =] hope i helped! ♥ (it was the best i could do since i only have a mini)

go to your itunes. Right click on the song you don't want anymore, and hit 'clear'. This will get rid of the song. If you did this in purchased music it will still show up in your library, if yo dont want it in your library do the same thing. Then update your update by plugging it in, and it should be removed :]
