I really feel awful right now so I'll sum it up. When I got to my last class today a friend told me I was really stained. I went to the bathroom and i had blood on the back of my pants. It's so embarrasing. I feel like becoming a hermit crab. Share your experiences with me please.

HOPLESSxROMNTC answered Wednesday January 4 2006, 8:46 pm: Aww its okay Ive had many bad experiances with my period.
1. Okay so about a year ago I had bought this really cute white skirt. My period wasnt supposed to start for about another week but it surprized me at school. So you could imagine, I walked around for about three classes untill I found a friend who had an extra tampon I could use. Then I had to change into PE shorts for the rest of the day.
2. When I was in 7th grade this really cute and nice guy that finally noticed me asked me if I wanted to hang out. We decided to go miniture golfing cause you know the guy can 'help' you hit the ball. I was so excited so I went and bought a whole new outfit. I had these light jeands and a light pink shirt. I was so excited that I forgot that I was supposed to start my period around the next day or two. So guess what? I walked around the whole night with a blood stain on the back of my pants because the guy was afraid to tell me! I really wish he would have but you know how guys are sometimes.
Those are only two of many embaressing stories that have happened to me. Dont worry it is probably old buisness and everyone will forget probably in a few days. Hope you feel better hun!
xOHunni-helpinOx answered Wednesday January 4 2006, 1:16 pm: Hey hunni i totally no how u feel!
my friends were sleeping round one night and i woke up the next morning to find my bed like TOTALLY covered in blood! my period had decided to come a few days early! ohmygosh so embarrassing but i laughed it off and my friends were like.. aww and forgot about it.
another time.. it was sports day, and i was like totally bloated because of my period and i was running down the track and i dropped the baton thingy, i bent over to pick it up and my combats split totally! i wouldnt of minded so much if i hadnt had to wear a thick pad aswell as a tampon for extra protection because of a heavy flow! argh every one laughed but soon forgot about it.
another time i was on webcam to some totally lush lads and i stood up to go to the loo.. as i turned round i heard my HOT mate laughing on mic.. i asked what was wrong.. he told me to look at my skirt.. completely bloodstained on my WHITE skirt! but he was totally cool with it and appologised for laughing
HeartsLiesFriends answered Wednesday January 4 2006, 9:13 am: Aww dont worry about it. All girls have embarassing experiences with their periods, its no big deal. If people make fun of you for becoming a woman then so be it, their just pathetic.
I remember the first time i got it, it was actually during lunch, and i had to get up and leave the lunch room infront of all my friends which is embarassing, but whats even more embarassing is i had to go the nurse to get a pad, and she was sitting there eating with 2 guidance counselors that i knew very well. And then another time, I was sitting in the library and you know how a girl always knows when she has her period, i was like "Sh** i just got my period" and it was so heavy it leaked through right onto the chair i was sitting in, and since it was wood it stained. Man my friend never let that down. :-?
KiSSxMYxPEARLS answered Wednesday January 4 2006, 2:16 am: Woah lol so you want to hear an embarassing story?
Okay well it started about like..8th grade and i DID NOT KNOW I WAS ON MY PERIOD! So i was wearing these khaki pants & IT STAINED MY WHOLLLEEE ASSSS!! lmfao & so then all the guys saw & they started laughing & i was soo embarassed that i was crying a little and i ran to the bathroom & one of my friends was like "woah its like a volcano erupted!" lmfao so i got mad at her & when i came out of the bathroom with my p.e shorts on..everyone was still laughing but then i found it funny & started laughing a little. so then one of my good guy friends STILL won't let it go & im a sophomore in highschool & he's like "holy shit remember when you stained your ass in 8th grade" and people call me bloody mary until someone brings it up and its just gay...lmao

tasuki answered Tuesday January 3 2006, 10:08 pm: As many people have said, it happens to everyone. Everyone. Once in phys. ed I had it really bad and had nothing with me. I was wearing these really revealing shorts and didn't want to say anything to the teacher. I tried really hard to play hockey that day (effort is everything in that class) but mostly I was trying to cover it up while checking the floor for blood stains. I think the teacher sensed something was up because he was being extra nice to me--I checked and there was no visible blood but he must have seen how nervous I was. Or something.
Another time, I was taking this long exam in the library with a bunch of people. And during it I suddenly got my period. When I stood up, there was actually a bit of blood on the chair! Aagh!! But I very quickly wiped it with my (dark) sleeve and I doubt anybody noticed.
The first time I had my period was towards the end of my school day (that seems to happen a lot). I thought I just had major indigestion or something and I said I didn't feel well. Then it started getting out of hand, so I went to the bathroom and saw all the blood (it was really, really heavy). Luckily I was wearing black pants day, so nobody could see. But a boy did say "What's that smell?"--I'm sure you've noticed that menstrual blood has a very distinct odor.
Oh my, I could go on and on! There are atleast three more I can think of, but I need to be getting to bed. This has happened so many times to me! It's all part of being a woman. It's good to be able to laugh it off. [ tasuki's advice column | Ask tasuki A Question ]
Beloved_x_Eyes answered Tuesday January 3 2006, 9:52 pm: That has happened to..
me.
Okay, if this makes you feel better, it wasnt my first time having my period but I looked and there was blood - ALL over my pants in my chorus class - last block! Thats a really weird coincidence.. anyways, people saw! Luckily, it was funny and they were nice about it and all girls but I wanted to DIE.
I had to go to the bathroom and stuff, but that was it. I made a joke out of it and laughed it off. Thats really all you can do.
Teza answered Tuesday January 3 2006, 9:47 pm: I think that this has happened to soo many girls and if not yet, it will. It happened to me. I was in 7th grade and I was in my last hour too. It wasn't much blood so when it was time to go home I just put my bookbag over it. I was so embarassed!! [ Teza's advice column | Ask Teza A Question ]
devilspawn_666 answered Tuesday January 3 2006, 9:38 pm: This happens to every girl at some point.. The last time I got "suprised", I had just bought this cute pair of designer jeans that I was really excited about... and of course.. that was the day I decided to wear little thong panties with light blue jeans.. and you can imagine how well that worked out... Not only was I stuck at school without a tampon.. but I left my phone on the charger, so I also had no way to call for someone to bring me anything else to change into... I totally hid in the bathroom until school was over.. which was in like an hour. But an hour in the bathroom is a REALLY long time. [ devilspawn_666's advice column | Ask devilspawn_666 A Question ]

TaintedPurity answered Tuesday January 3 2006, 9:03 pm: That's horrible. I'm so sorry. When I was in high school I went to Target with a few of my friends and a guy that I *REALLY* liked. All of a sudden I had my period, and not just my period...I had a medical problem and basically my whole period came at once. It was all over, and the worst part was...my pants were black so it looked like I peed myself! It was mortifying but guess what? It's three years later and I'm engaged to that guy I like and two of my friends who were there...said they forgot about it when I mentioned it. OnlyTheRightAnswers answered Tuesday January 3 2006, 8:55 pm: I'm sorry to hear that, sweetie.
That happened to me my freshman year. I was going to biology class and I had this nice tan skirt on that day, but then a girl came up behind me and told me I had a stain on the back of my skirt. It was really embarassing, especially since I had to ask my guy teacher for a pass to the nurse. I called my mom, I got upset on the phone, and she came to bring me a new pair of pants and take me home. I was embarassed for a little while after, but I think most people around had easily forgot.
I'm a senior in high school now and I'm sure that's not what I'm remembered for especially since I'm sure no one even remembers that day. Just try to stick out the first few uncomfortable days and eventually anyone who knows about it will get over it. [ OnlyTheRightAnswers's advice column | Ask OnlyTheRightAnswers A Question ]
LoveNJstyle answered Tuesday January 3 2006, 8:54 pm: oh goodness! well, at my high school, we have 8th graders come in to "shadow". one girl that came in was COMPLETELY soaked. it was all over her sweatshirt, all over the chair..EVERYWHERE. she didn't tell her hostess but it was obvious when she left because she "didnt feel good". everyone felt really bad for her and no one really brought it up again. it's ok, it happens to everyone at one point or another. my mom's friend had this happen to her...she was an adult! so just forget about it, you can hold your head up! <3 [ LoveNJstyle's advice column | Ask LoveNJstyle A Question ]
