Babies can start teething anywhere from 4 months onwards.
to ease the pain theres soo many things you can do..
-Ice teething rings.. (put them into the freezer so there cold and it soothes the burning in cheeks and gums from the teeth breaking through)
-Teething powder.. (you just pour it into the mouth)
-Teething gel (rubber onto gums)
-Teething medicine
-Whisky.. yes the alcohol.. the old remedy (my mum used to do this to me and my brother) a little whisky... rubbed onto gums.. dont worry the baby wont get drunk cos u only use a little..

I share a bathroom with my 10 yearold sister and we keep our waste basket in the closet so my dog doesn't get to it. Everytime I get my period, i make sure i push my trash all the way to the bottom and close the closet door. BUT m sister always leaves the door open. My dog gets bloody tampons and the drags them around the house. My dad is getting disgusted and so am I! He blames it on me because of course its mine, not my moms. He says things like "You know the only thing that disgusts me is your bloody tampons" Its so embarassing!! How can I deal with this? My sister is an effin lazy ass.
i cant beleive noone has said this so far... FLUSH THE TAMPONS! tampons go down easily... if you use pads tear them in half and flush them!
The wrappers can go in the bin obviously but flush the rest!

My male ferret (6 mos old) seemed to be a little dispondant lately, so I decided to get a playmate for him. I bought a baby (2 mos old) boy for him to play with, but all that seems to have done is give him someone to push out of his hammock at night.
Any advice on how to get them to get along? Is the baby too little for him to play with, or is he just a jerkface? Should I try getting him a little girl to play with? Any advice will be (rated) appreciated.

a lot of male animals DON'T get along. They fight or keep distance from each other.
Like hamsters, its bad to keep two males together as they fight and one could end up injured or sometimes killed.
but dont worry this may not be the case.
If you decided to get a girl, there may be a chance you'll have baby ferrets running around in a few months time.
i suggest you keep an eye on them over the next couple of days for the safety of the baby one. they may adapt to each other, they may not, just keep an eye on them. Also i would advise you to go the pet store where you got your ferrets and ask about them, like what they like as surroundings and their attitudes towards other ferrets. Or maybe by a guide book? they are quite useful and tell you what to feed them and grooming aswell :)
Your older ferret may just be bored? If your hut/cage etc is big enough, make sure it has tubes/pipes and other play things in there but PLEASE MAKE SURE they are big enough for your ferret to go through, consider the size it will be fully grown aswell.

I just moved into a new house and my room is light pink and green. I am not into that at all, not one bit. But my parents won't let me paint over it. I'm not gothic; but my favourite color is black, i wear black all the time, i'm into heavy metal, my favorite band is Lamb of God and Insane Clown Posse. I like stars and hearts. I would probably be more into the colours if they were alot darker, but i can't paint! I asked if i could get a black stripe near the top but our painters' hand isnt steady enough, but I can paint some black into it, but where? Not the whole thing so what can i do? What can i do that will make my room alot less girly and young? Please help! I hate these light baby colors!
get some stencils of stars/hearts etc.
or use black furniture and perhaps see if you can persuade your parents to let you paint you skirting boards/runners black to break down the girliness.

I really feel awful right now so I'll sum it up. When I got to my last class today a friend told me I was really stained. I went to the bathroom and i had blood on the back of my pants. It's so embarrasing. I feel like becoming a hermit crab. Share your experiences with me please.

my friends were sleeping round one night and i woke up the next morning to find my bed like TOTALLY covered in blood! my period had decided to come a few days early! ohmygosh so embarrassing but i laughed it off and my friends were like.. aww and forgot about it.
another time.. it was sports day, and i was like totally bloated because of my period and i was running down the track and i dropped the baton thingy, i bent over to pick it up and my combats split totally! i wouldnt of minded so much if i hadnt had to wear a thick pad aswell as a tampon for extra protection because of a heavy flow! argh every one laughed but soon forgot about it.
another time i was on webcam to some totally lush lads and i stood up to go to the loo.. as i turned round i heard my HOT mate laughing on mic.. i asked what was wrong.. he told me to look at my skirt.. completely bloodstained on my WHITE skirt! but he was totally cool with it and appologised for laughing

i used to have hamsters and they also used to chew on the metal bars of there cages so i went out and bought them gnaw bars which the nibble to help keep their teeth from getting to long.
your hamster may be getting old, thats maybe why he seems tired and less active. hamsters dont live very long, the average life span is between one and a half years to three years. sometimes they may live longer, for about five or sometimes less.
Its maybe cos its cold that hes less active? put a bit of extra bedding in for him and if he wants it he'll use it hamsters are clever animals.. well some one of mine was a bit scatty lol.
as for the eating... i used to give mine sliced apple, lettuce, cucumber, pear, grapes but dont give him to much as he still needs his regular dried hamster food make sure you wash it all first!!. also try the cereal cheerios.
to make sure your giving your hamster the right foods search on google to get a list of dietry information as anything citrusy is not aloud such as orange, lemon, pineapple etc. so make sure you check this out.
Also.. your hamster may be dehydrated, make sure you change his water daily, with fresh cold water. sometimes the water bottles get jammed so roll the bottle over the top of your hand to make sure the water if coming out properly.
If you have a excercise ball for him put him in that for no longer than 20 minutes a day. If you try him in it and he doesnt seem to be moving around much, it may just be that hes getting old and needs rest so leave him in his cage and try not to disturb him too much. if hes out for a while in the night have a hold of him then to prevent waking him during the day.
If your hamster is young and your still worried maybe se a vet?

im not sure of anything else, but if you can find any one to look after your baby a couple of hours a weeks try swimming, my cousin lost about a stone from swimming 2 or 3 times a wekk in about 2 months.

G/14. I have a bulky poster but I am worried about my hips size, at this age I have 34 inches. I don’t like big, abnormal hips. I m more worried due to heredity, my mom has also big size around 40. I am afraid with the miracles (so called) sliming products due to their worst side effects. Once mom use a sliming gel but she got nothing just continuous itching on her hips. Please give me a good advice. It is appreciable if you tell me your personal experience if you have.

i also have wide hips. mine are 35/36
when you say there big and abnormal how do you mean? big with bone? or big with body fat?
if its bone theres nothing you can do but if its body fat then there are a few excercises you could try.
seeing as its your hips you might have body fat from your lower back on there or maybe lower stomache?
slimming products often dont do much excercise works best. it takes time though, its not something you can acheive over night, i tired it :P
but hunni remember that lots of boys prefer curvy girls, be proud of your love handles!
and 34 inches really isnt all that bad!
im 5 ft 7 and just the right build for my height and age, im sure your just fine and look great. we all pick things out about our selves that were concious/insecure about when really theres nothing to worry about.
my advice to you is to be pleased with your curves, many girls would kill to have a curvy figure and a larger waist, but if you really are unhappy try finding some exercises that concentrate on the lower top half of your body (back, stomache, thighs and waist) but dont over do it, take it in stages, and do slightly more each day as long as you dont strain your body, it could really do damage.

theres no set time to start so dont worry its normal. anywhere between 11-16 is normal so i guess im not quite normal :S but anyway hun dont worry count yourself lucky!

i know it's not necessarily sex, but i didn't know what to put it under.
well, when i try to put on tampons, i get it in a little, but it doesn't go in anymore..
and also, when they teach you how to put tampons in (or, the pictures), it shows the plastic applicator going into the vagina. but i see the plastic part in the garbage can all the time (because my mom) and it's never covered in blood.. i don't know. i'm confused. people have showed me sites to help me, but it doesn't really necessarily help.

when you put in a tampon, as u push it in a bit the cottony, main part goes up and the applicator is pushed down and out.
maybe when you see the plastic applicator in the bin without any blood on it... maybe its because your mum wipes it afterwards?? or maybe her periods arent seriously heavy or maybe theres no blood coming out yet.
maybe you cant get the tampon in all the way because you are tensing up and not relaxing enough. maybe because your not standin in the best position for you to insert it. so keep relaxed and experiment with the different positions. like with one leg up on the toilet seat or squating with your legs apart.
if you find that the tampon doesnt go right in straight away try using your finger to push it in a little further. yes i know it seems discusting but thats why we have sinks and water to wash our hands afterwards right?
when im on my period i use tampons every now and again and i know that if it hurts then its not in the right place or im not using the right tampon to suit my flow and body.

ok i have diabtes (type 1, im not overweight or anything) and im a little shy about it well i mean i dont like telling ppl about it. only my close friends know about it and some other people who i didnt want to find out about having it. my friends think that its stupid that i dont tell people and they say if they had it they would have no problem telling ppl. but they dont have it so they dont know. its easier to say then do. are they right, should i not be so shy about it?

i know a girl that is also diabetic, and also my friends mum has it.
any way... this girl i know felt exactly the same as you, she didnt want to tell any one, but when she did tell people, she felt alot better about it cos everyone gave her support and knew that if she looked ill or felt ill it might be because her blood sugar levels were low and could giv her something for it. she felt more secure that way knowin that she had people looking out for her.
so my advice is to think about how you feel, if you dont want everyone to know, then keep it that way, just because your friends think its stupid not to tell people doesnt mean you have to do what they say. its your life and you should always do whats best for you and what makes you feel comfortable.
If you do decide to tell people, go for it, they should'nt make fun of you because of it but if they do they seriously need to think long and hard about what they are doing.
