So first you must get your diet in order and make sure you are eating enough during the day. (For you, I would try and get in at least 4 meals a day). A rule of thumb is that you should be losing 2 lbs per week, any weight over that is really just water weight...assuming it's 2 lbs of fat in the first place. Dips between chairs, Push-ups, weightless squats, crunches, find a strong tree limb outside and do chins, dream something you will enjoy up and do it religiously if you ABSOLUTELY cannot get to a gym, which is best. As far as running and walking go, our bodies burn the same amount of calories in distance whether we walk or run...around 100 calories per mile. The real difference is how fast those calories get burned, which of course is faster by running. So if you prefer to run, then do that or walk if you feel. Either way, 2 miles of running and 2 miles of walking is burning around the same amount of calories. [ MikeCFT's advice column | Ask MikeCFT A Question ]

If you don't eat that much junk food or drink soda then atleast you are eating healthy. You just need to do some exercises. Try walking a mile a day then you could increase it to running for a mile. Gradually increase it when you feel you can. And if you take your baby (depending on age) to the park, you could also get one of those strolers that u can run while pushing the carriage. smallbutsweet90 answered Saturday December 31 2005, 10:50 am: definatly eat as healthy as possible, you cant go wrong by that. crunches help a bunch, they'll help tone your muscles and get rid of all the extra fat. exerise tapes are awesome, i would definatly recommend thoughs. you could even run up and down steps, really anything phsyical to get your body moving. good luck =) [ smallbutsweet90's advice column | Ask smallbutsweet90 A Question ]
