Period+Dog=BIG MESS!
I share a bathroom with my 10 yearold sister and we keep our waste basket in the closet so my dog doesn't get to it. Everytime I get my period, i make sure i push my trash all the way to the bottom and close the closet door. BUT m sister always leaves the door open. My dog gets bloody tampons and the drags them around the house. My dad is getting disgusted and so am I! He blames it on me because of course its mine, not my moms. He says things like "You know the only thing that disgusts me is your bloody tampons" Its so embarassing!! How can I deal with this? My sister is an effin lazy ass.

you shouldn't be changing them in your room? you're supposed to be doing it in the bathroom & put them in the bathroom gargbage. in your room is disgustinggg..it doesn't stink up your room?

you know you can flush tampons, right? as for pads, just use a different trash barrel or something.

Tampons are FLUSHABLE!! just not the applicator or the plastic wrap but yea girl the tampon itself...flush that joker lol

well you could try not using that trash when you gte your period.. you could use your moms or the one in your room.. anything.. or just make sure everytime you go bye the bathroom that the closet door is closed.. or you could close the bathroom doorr.. ♥ kelleyy

i cant beleive noone has said this so far... FLUSH THE TAMPONS! tampons go down easily... if you use pads tear them in half and flush them!
The wrappers can go in the bin obviously but flush the rest!

If all the following good advice doesn't work, you can get a plastic grocery bag, hook one of the handles over a clothes hanger and hang it inside the door. The bathroom or closet door, whichever is convenient. :)

get a trash can with a good lid on it !! or pop your dog a good one!! (( hit you dogg ))
if your dad blames you then thats messed up. you can also put the trash can on a sink counter when u go out the room

I suggest that you get a garbage can with a lid, or throw your trash outside. :)

Yeahh, my dogs do this too & it grosses me the hell out. =] I suggest you wrap the tampon up in loads of toilet paper & then maybe put it in a little baggy, so it can't smell the blood. Or, just put the garbage outside everytime there's a tampon in there. =]

I would suggest talking to your mom about what's going on. She may be able to talk to your sister about making sure the closet door stays shut or at least explain to your dad that it isn't your fault. As far as other options, I can think of three. One, if possible, move the trash basket to a shelf where the dog can't reach it. Two, buy a trash can with a lid that snaps shut. The third option is inconvenient but it will work if the dog is small. Set the trash basket in the bathtub and shut the curtain so the dog can't see it.

You should wrap them up in toilet paper and then spray them with hairspray or something that wont taste good to your dog (but not something that will hurt him)Then hopefully he will stop taking them. hope i helped and good luck! <3

Try clearing off a higher shelf in the closet that your dog cant reach. Or get a new waste basket the has a lid to it.

well you could alaways just take it to the outside garbage everytime you have to. you could also wait a few years till your sister gets her period and do the same thing to her.
