My hair is abnormally thick and is really wavy. I want to be able to wear it down instead of in a ponytail all the time. But t takes like an hour and a half to straighten and i dont have time to do that every morning before school. Are there any products i can use or any ways i can style it?
(oh, and it also gets very frizzy when i wear it down)
crazyxbeautiful answered Sunday March 19 2006, 11:49 pm: my hair is prety thick too, but i dont really have that problem most of the timef bc i gave a its a really really good straightner that you can get at Ulta for around $130. but also i heard some people put like light hairspray in their hair. not enough to make it all hard, but just enough to make it stay how you want it.
but DONT put that Friz-ez crap in ur hair. all it does is makes it greasy and gross. [ crazyxbeautiful's advice column | Ask crazyxbeautiful A Question ]
X0HMichelle answered Sunday March 19 2006, 8:51 pm: Hey, well the best thing to do is get conditonair that helps retain ur hair to frizz(example: Garnier Frutris). Im not the best person to ask what products will help because im not a hair person haha. But if you go to your local beauty supply store or ask your hair cutter they will give you the answer. Also, you can try leave in conditoner that will help for sure! Use The Conditonar by Paul Mitchell.

lilbrit answered Sunday March 19 2006, 8:46 pm: I have the same problem. If I want to wear it down, I take a shower. Then when my hair is still wet, I scrunch lots of extra hold mousse (I use garnier) in it and let it air dry. That will give you natural curls without the frizz. LoveNJstyle answered Sunday March 19 2006, 8:38 pm: my hair is also pretty wild... what i do is take a shower so my hair is really wet then i blowdry with a brush...its a lot faster then using a straightner on dry hair. hairspray is good. hope that works for you! <3 [ LoveNJstyle's advice column | Ask LoveNJstyle A Question ]
