metal_cheerleader_x answered Wednesday January 4 2006, 10:01 pm: I think you should try using a overnight pad .. or if you dont want to try that... If your flow isnt really heavy I would just use a pad and then bring a extra one in your purse or something .. is this your first day on your period because if it is your flow wont be to heavy but if it isnt I would just use a tampon and put a pad on too <3
K2204 answered Wednesday January 4 2006, 9:32 pm: go for a run, and that will getalot of your flow out. are you skating tonight? or tomorrow? go running a few times between now and when you go, excersize makes your periods heaveier and shorter, so run, and a wholelot of blood will come out, likely.then maybe sit on the toilet for a while, and let a lot of the blood come out that way too. maybe run before you skate, so that way it will all come out. make sure that you bring pads with you to the skating place, and check for leaks offten, weardark pants, and maybe bring a friend who can watch your back side, literally, to see if there are any leaks. maybeif you have a big purse, you can put an extra pair of pants and undies and a tun of pads in there, and if anyone asks, then say that you are sleeping over at a friends house, so thats why I have the extra clothes. or wear a hoodie around your waist. :) [ K2204's advice column | Ask K2204 A Question ]
charmed3fanatic answered Wednesday January 4 2006, 9:11 pm: you could try to use a heavier pad like lets say you use regular now... try to go up a size like wear an overnight size... hope that helped... and it was what you were looking for =] [ charmed3fanatic's advice column | Ask charmed3fanatic A Question ]
HOPLESSxROMNTC answered Wednesday January 4 2006, 8:55 pm: There really is nothing else you can do besides wear a pad or tampon. Unless you have a really heavy flow there is nothing to worry about. It probably wont leak. Dont wear two pads because that would be uncomfortable. I would suggest a tampon, but you do have to change those more frequently then a pad. It is up to you but definately check it if its been over 4 hours. Good luck hun!

Linds answered Wednesday January 4 2006, 8:43 pm: haha.. theres nothing else to do but use a tampon or a pad..
get used to wearing tampons.. there so much easier.. and you cant even feel them and it doesnt feel like wearing a grose diaper..
pads work fine.. i sleep with those over night and they NEVER leak.. just change it ever 5 hours to make sure it doesnt and you dnt have an embarrasing moment. haha
you should get the pads with the wings.. they have these sticky things on the sides and it attaches to your undies so it doesnt leakk
xOobabiicakezx3 answered Wednesday January 4 2006, 8:40 pm: all you have to do is change right as soon as you leave, dont move around TOO much, and make sure you change your pad every 4 hours and tampon like every 3 hours hope i helped please rate [ xOobabiicakezx3's advice column | Ask xOobabiicakezx3 A Question ]
Erinn_the_bamf answered Wednesday January 4 2006, 8:38 pm: The only thing you cand do is where a tampon or pads. You don't need to be too worried. Put on a new pad or tampon (whichever you like better) before you leave and bring some more with you. [ Erinn_the_bamf's advice column | Ask Erinn_the_bamf A Question ]
iSpEaKsPaNiSh answered Wednesday January 4 2006, 8:35 pm: what else do you want us to say besides a tampon or a pad? you could use a diaper..
if you are 13 you probably haven't had your period long..just know that it doesn't leak that easily unless you go a long long time without changing. don't worry about it. just do what you normally do. use a thicker absorbancy and bring some extras. it's just all mental that you scare yourself that you'll leak. you'll be fine. have fun skating. =). Kr4z3y_Ch3lly answered Wednesday January 4 2006, 8:34 pm: ok well when i skate i use a tampon and a pad just in case. but you can do the two pad thing also that would work really good. i skateboard though so i dont know what kind of skating your doing but yea. try either one of those! have fun. :]
Amberlyx3 answered Wednesday January 4 2006, 8:27 pm: Whether you're using tampons OR pads, just make sure you put on a new one RIGHT before you leave and bring a little purse or something to keep a few to change later. You can never change too much or be TOO careful!
