im a senior in high school and im soo confused about college. i've always been under the impression that you take the 4 core classes just like you do in high school, and then go on to study in your major. but like my teacher this year said in college he didnt have to take math because he was an english major and didnt need it. im going in to the medical field, so since that focuses on math and science, would i have to take english or history still? would there be any way to exempt these classes?? please only answer if you're in or been to college and know for sure.

i'm also a senior in high school but i take 2 college courses for half of the day. basically you aways have to take an english i'm going into the medical field as well. they will probably make u take an elective like psycology, sociology, or economics something like that for your 'history' but when u get into a college you will have your own advisor that will help you pick out what classes you need to take in order to succeed in your medical field position

Okay so their's this guy, lets call him...skip. Okay so skip and my best friend since I was 5, lets call her...Marcy, dated for 11 months. He eventually broke up with her, but even when they were still going out me and skip were really close. When Skip and Marcy first broke up, i didn't think it was fair that Marcy used to talk bad about me to my other friends saying that I souldn't talk to him anymore. But, she didn't understand how close we were. Now its about 4ish months later and me and him are basically best friends. We hang out alot, and talk on the phone 24/7. He is basically the most amazing guy i have ever met, and i've never liked anyone this much. I always think it's cheesey when people say they love someone and their 14, but for once i get it. I love him. I'm not sure if he feels the same, but my other best friend thinks he does "without a doubt" likes me." + how do i go about talking about this with marcy if me and skip do end up dating? And how do i go about things with skip, i dont want to screw up what we have already, but i absolutely, without a doubt, love him. I really don't know what to do here. My other bestfriend says im letting Marcy get in the way of my happiness, and im starting to think she's right. Please help me, for once i'm the one needing advice, not giving it. & this is driving me crazy=/

i'm sorry it took so long for me to answer you! i haven't been on in forever! but hunny if you supposibly love him then go for it! marcy is not going to be happy i can tell you that straight out it seems she's jealous that u even talk to him so i would just say that if she doesn't care about your happiness then she is not a true friend. hopefully everything worked out if you told him! let me knO!

I'm thinking of joining the track team next year (no spots left this year) because I really want to take up a sport but I'm not really in to team sports.

I'm not in great shape, I haven't done sports since I was about 12 (I'm 16 now) and even though I'm the fastest female runner in my class (which isn't saying much, there's only about 8 girls haha), my resistance sucks and I get tired easily.

I've got ages before I join but I'd really like to start getting in to shape now. Apart from the obvious (running...) what can I do to get in shape?

This is a perfect question for me since my best friend did track and field for 4 years as well as cross-country. To get into shape for track you should work on ur endurance which means not just running but running long distances to increase your endurance. Also track is not only about running you also want to excercise ur arms as well. You want to also do ab workouts

TELL HIMMMM!!! this happened to me. my ex boyfriend basically broke up with me and then we stopped talking until i told him i was waiting for him because i felt it was worth it.. he told me that i was the most amazing person he ever met etc. and so basically we started talking as friends again.. and hey if something happens then it happens.. but don't EVER not tell them because you could be screwing yourself in the long run because maybe he does still have some feelings for you or something... but my number one choice would be to tell him in person.. but since you said you get all choked up then i would send him a message on myspace because then you can think about it before you say it etc. you know? you not going to like my answer but any hair stylist will tell you that it is EXTREMELY difficult to cut your own hair.. most hair stylists can't even cut there own hair and refuse to do so like the other person said.. i would try and get it professionally done so then your most likely assured that it will look up to your standards and if they mess up they can most likely fix it.. but you might do soemthing wrong and TOTALY screw yourself over :( sorry

Nothing has ever happened to me. I've never been raped. I've never been molested. Whatever. But now that I'm developing into an adult, I see that I care about no-one but myself. Not even my parents. the first step to resolving your problem is KNOWING that you have a problem.. and obviously you want to change for the better so your on a good stream... the first thing i would tell you to do is start writting all your feelings down.. it could potentially help or it could be nothing.. but it's a try.. obviously you want to have friends so you can't tell me that you dont' care if you have friends or not because if you want to be social then you want to have someone you care about... i think you feel unwanted or something and your just an idependant person and only depend on yourself and not others which is good to a certain extent but you have to know where your boundaries land.. try talking to an adult or someone you trust... you can talk to me too if you would like.. and i'll try to figure out something that you would do to become unlonely.. i think your selling yourself short. you CAN get a boyfriend as much as you CAN get friends. you just have to find yourself and show people who you really are.. and that you want to care abotu other people and nto only yourself

how can you download music to then move to itunes. it must be free and it cant be limewire because it doesnt work. thanx.

i do it.. i use limewire and then just highlight them... left click and hold.. then i drag them down to itunes still holding the left button and then when you put your cursor on the itunes tab down on the start menu itunes should come up and then you bring your cursor to the itunes screen and let go of the mouse.. it might be kinda confusing so if you have a hard time just let me know and i'll try to be a little clearer

Well I'm four months pregnant, and me and my babys daddy arent together, he doesn't believe this baby is his he tells me to screw myself and to find the real baby father. The thing is hes the only one who I've slept with unpertected in the last 6 months. So I know its his. But I got back with my ex boyfriend who I was with before four almost a year before we got into some stuff. We got back together before I found out I was pregnant. I told him I was pregnant he told me he'd step up and help me raise it as his own. Hes in Long Creek (Jail) until January 3rd and I'm due January 27. My friends birthday pool party is Aug 10. On my calender it says my period should be coming around aug 8 or 9.
He is really cute, and like everyone is going. I really want to go to this party.. But my problem is I have my period then and im not the best with tampons. I only can get a tampon in about half way..
If i wear a black bathing suit and a tampon half in..?
Would that work out? HELP! Im not gonna go to the party if im not gonna swim , so dont tell me that.
Ideas? Is there any type of tampons smaller then regular?
