what does it mean to pop someones cherry? or something like that..
A "cherry" is another word for a hymen, which is a little flap of skin right in the opening of the vagina. When someone talks about "popping a cherry" they are referring to losing your virginity. This is because when you have sex your hymen tears. Things other than sex, like using tampons, can also cause it to tear, but when someone uses that particular phrase that's what they mean!

I have a very big fear of the dark. The thing is Its not beacuse of just a little thing like scary movies or stuff like that. I had a really bad expierence in the dark at a hospital after one of my heart surgerys. I can't go anywhere without a light on or someone close by. Its kinda silly i no but i need help. How do I slowly get over this stupid fear. Im a 15 yr old female. Im too old for this!

You just need to realize that everything is exactly the same in the dark as it is with the lights on. Try turning your light on and looking around at everything, then turn the light off and look at all the same things you just looked at. It's no different, just a little harder to see!:) There's really nothing to be afraid of. Also, if you have a sleep button on the remote control to your tv, you could just set the timer on it before you go to sleep so it won't be completely dark when you're tryin to go to bed and the timer will go off soon so it's not on all night!

Ok, well my school is having a semi-winter formal! The thing is, I don't know what to wear! I have an idea.. like a ultra short black sequen dress wiht a white beaded necklace and jeans.. yet im not sure.. does anyone know some stores that sells really cute tops at a reasonable price! thnx

I don't know if anyone could possibly give me any tips but .. everytime I curl my hair, I part my hair into two parts on each side of my neck. The right side always looks perfect but, for some reason, the left side always comes out flat with a little bit of curl to it - not like the ringlets that come out on the right side. Is there anything special I can do to prevent this?
You could try using hot rollers! Those work really well for curls and it takes alot less time then the curling iron because your whole head is being curled at the same time. Another thing you could try is not parting it until your done...like curling random sections and then parting it the way you normally wear it when you are finshed. That way , the curls may come out more evenly!

You could just go to an online translator like www.freetranslation.com/ and type in five activities that you do with your family. It will translate them directly to Spanish. It's really easy and pretty accurate!

Whether you're using tampons OR pads, just make sure you put on a new one RIGHT before you leave and bring a little purse or something to keep a few to change later. You can never change too much or be TOO careful!

YES, you can most definatley get an STD from giving oral sex, but only if the person are doing stuff with HAS an STD. They don't just pop up out of nowhere...you have to actually be infected with the disease from another person. So no, if your partner doesn't have an STD there is no possible way you could get one. Just make sure you know for sure they don't and be SAFE!

I think he DOES like you, he's just too shy to come out and tell you in the same way that you are afraid to tell HIM how YOU feel. Continue to flirt with him, that way you can let him know that you like him without the embarrasment of having to come out and SAY it. I don't think you should get him anything cause it's only been a month. Being that he's a guy and they usually don't get attached as soon as most GIRLS do, he'd probably be a little freaked out about it. I wouldn't make a big deal about it if I were you, a present would be appropriate at 6 months. All you really need to do is go to the movies, have fun, and at some point just simply wish him a Happy Anniversary!

Okay, I personally am a lesbian and it is definately not a "choice" you can make or something you can just decide one day..it's alot more than that. Everyone is who they are and the only choice they really have is whether or not to act on those feelings they have. If you are gay, there is absolutely nothing in the world that can change that, no matter how hard you try. At the end of the day you will still be attracted to the same sex. It's part of who you are, period. No one just decides whether they wanna be gay or straight, it's in who you are from the day you were born, just like any other aspect of your personality or character.

Does anyone have any guidelines to get my eyeliner straigh and thin on my top lid. Not the bottom, but top. When I do it, its too think.
One thing you can do, like everyone else is saying, is close the eye you're putting the eyeliner on and stretch your eyelid out with your finger so it's flat. Then, very slowly and carefully draw on a straight line. The slower you do it, the straighter it will be.
Another thing you can do is try a liquid liner just for the top. This works really good for making a thin, straight line!

When i shave uh "down there" why does it get really itchy and bumpy. it sometimes hurts really bad, is there something that i am doing wrong?
You're not doing anything wrong at all, it's simply because your skin isn't used to it. If shave everyday the razor burn will go away completely, but once you stop it will come back until your skin gets used to it again. you pretty much have to shave often if you want to avoid razor burn.
