Ugh, my huge winter dance is in a few weeks (about 3) and I asked this kid i dont know too well but i mean i talk to him everyday jus sayin Hi or somethin. well, I asked him at 10:57 and then he didnt answer. then at 11:23 i asked if he was there nd he didnt answer (this is all online) then an hour later i saw he went away and then came back. so i IMed him nd asked if he saw what i said. here was the convo when he came back

I get really shy when it comes to eating around people other than my famliy and my closest friends. If I'm at lunch and everyone else is eating I feel ok about eating in front of them, but If no one is eating I get nervous about eating when they aren't. So I just was invited to a friend's 16th birthday party and it is going to be at a hotel. Its a fancy dinner party really...and I'm nervous about eating with 50 other people around me. Its not that I'm worried about my weight or how I look, I just don't feel right eating when other people are around. What should I do at the party? Should I just not go? Or should I go and not eat if no one else is eating?

personally, i think is unattractive when i a girl DOSNT eat, cuz it tells me that they cant be themselves around everyone, there is a barrier that you have to break through to get to the real her, and that isnt appeling at all. i say you go, eat as much as you want, have manners, but dont worry about if your plate is clean and the person's next to you is only half finished, if i was the host/hostess of this party id be more pleased with the clean plate, cuz it clearly tells me that this person enjoyed thier food...so yes... go to the party. have fun, and eat as much as your lovely heart desisers.

I was at a party nine days ago, when my friends all started smoking pot. I didn't give in to the peer pressure. I didn't smoke any. But I did stay and hang around with them, and I think I got a little "contact buzz" from the second hand smoke. I'm in the military and have a random drug test tomorrow. Will second hand smoke show up in pee tests?? Please help me. (link)

OK. I have been in "love" with this guy matt since November.. we've been best friends for a while and hes known that I liked him.. but he says he's not ready to be more than best friends with me although we are close. We almost went out once because he said that he wanted to but the reality of the situation is that he was only saying it so i would be happy (I dont really get how making me think he wanted to go out with me and then telling me no would make me happy but whatever.) He's gone out with two girls since... and I've been extremely jealous even though we never actually "dated". Yesterday, he hooked up with a girl named Angela who I almost physically fought last year. When they went out, I didn't feel sad? At all? It was strange because when these things happen I used break into tears. I don't even know if I still "love" him or not anymore. I REALLY want to be a model. Like, I've never wanted anything so much bebfore, in my life. I am 5'2 and a size 5 (short) in jeans. I weigh 115. I'm working on the weight, I'm trying to get down to a size 2. So I'm not asking about that. Is my height a problem? Because I'm a fan of Tyra Banks and watch her talk show. I went to that sight and in her "So you want to be a model" part, she said you have to be 5'9 to model. So is my 5'2 height going to restrict me from modeling? im 5"9 and im a junior in highschool, i have some friends that model right now, and they are 5'5 or 5'6 and they are juniors too. you have plenty of time to grow, and even if you dont get to 5'9 i think you'll be just fine

you dont need to shed pounds, u need to pack on muscel.
go run a mile or two, do crunches, and squat jumps... do that for a bout a week or 2 weeks, and youll have your 6 pack, but you gotta do keep up with it.... you dont have to run a mile everyday but do 50 more crunches everynight than you did the night before

just write it and sing it, you dont have to put music behind it, if its good, and sweet and thoughtful, shell melt, trust me i write alot of songs, not nessecarity for girls, but when i do they love em, and i cant play any instrament. shit i wouldnt even call what i do signin, but they still love it none the less cuz of all the thought you put into it

nah man, you gotta tell her, its hard, it always is, but its alot better to hear it from the person themself and from a friend, your gonna get shot down a few times throughout your life, but for thoes other times, when you dont get shot down, and she looks at you and smiles and says "really?! i like you too" when that happens... it all worth it life is full of risks, weather its to take the 3 point shot or drive straight to the hoop. you drive straight in, balls to the wall, confident, dont let anyone push you around, and you come out of there with what u accomplished. i say not only do you tell her, you tell her in person. good luck man, lemme know how it goes

I'm friends with a married couple. We've been friends for about 3 years. I am single but a christian who is saving herself for marriage. Well recently I had ran into the husband of this married couple and he told me that he struggles with pornography. I was pretty shocked and thought that it should be something he should be telling his wife before me. He also told me what bad taste his wife had and that he wished he were single.
Other people who are friends with him have told me that he is always yelling at his wife and saying she's "a stupid woman" behind her back. I have another female friend who's told me that he's come on to other woman and even asked someone to bed. She refused because she knew he was married. I've also heard he's really wild with some of his friends and frequents the porn shops, gets stoned AND drunk then roars around on his motorbike.
I'm pretty disgusted with him, and really don't want to be his friend anymore. But the problem is what is his wife going to think? What should I tell her when she asks why I don't want to do things with them anymore? When I first met him he said he was a born again christian and that he hated porn and drugs. What a lyer.

okayy so me and "brad" have a history .. i've liked him for months .. me and him dated for about a week but he dumped me for a diff girl. he says he wouldnt have dumped me if he knew she had a bf tho .. and when i asked about a future "us" he said i can see us together again. that was a month ago .. now hes like i honestly dont know. so last night he called me and asked if i wanted to go hang out w/ him and justin. so he came over on his snow mobile and picked me up. he came and got me at 9 and we hung outside for a lil bit and then talked then we got on his sled and went over to justins. we had so much fun. there was fireworks and drinks and we hung out in the barn and we flirted SOO bad. it was so much fun. at about midnight we went up to the guest room, him me zach and justin and spent like an hour tryin to get the tv hooked up then once it was me and him laid on the futon and watched a movie and zach and justin were on sleepin bags on the bed. me and brad fell asleep and they brought me home at 3 when the movie was over .. he said he'd probably talk to me today .. probably? yeahhh well he hasn't called yet .. did i do something wrong .. was it just a friends hangin out? or do u think maybe last night kinda worked in my favor for a more than friends relationship? any help? please!

Alright, so on New Years Eve, me and my boyfriend[of 3 years :)] were in the shower together, and he put his penis inside of me, but im not on birth control yet, and he wasn't wearing a condom. So, like he started thrusting, and like it wasn't a long time at all, probably not even 3 minutes, but he pulled out. But I'm not sure if he got sperm in me, and i'm really nervous that I am going to get pregnant. We have had sex before, but every time he uses a condom. Is there any way i could tell if i am pregnant other than a pregnancy test? And if i have to use a pregnancy test, how long should i wait to go buy one? older more mature people who "look at it like its the end of the world" are more shocked than appauled, simply because these types of things werent happening when they were in highschool, and even if they were, not NEARLY as often as they are these days, as the generations go on things change and the kids get more daring and experimental even faster. its every where in a childs life these days, so they dont see it as "wrong" as kids used to in the old days"
theres nothing wrong with it really, as long as you can control it and take care of the situation...if its going to make the parent/s drop out of school and devote thier whole life to the cild, then i dont think its a good trade off. but if the parent/s are able to manage school and taking good care of the child, and pull through all the hardships and tough times, then there is nothing wrong with it, and it prly just makes the parent/s even stronger.

Is it possible to fall in love at 17? I have been with my boyfriend for only 4 months, but there is such an intense energy between us. We talk all the time and are together at every moment possible. we are similar in our core beliefs, but disagree on many topics. Disagreeing has sparked tons of interesting conversations between us. everytime i think about him or someone says his name i smile and get a warm, fuzzy, happy feeling. we trust and respect one another and have good sexual chemistry (we have not however, had sex and will not for quite some time)
I am almost positive that i love him, but ever since i was young people have always told me that you can't fall in love in high school. I want to get some outside oppinions and find out if the things i am feeling are what is generally classified as love.

no 1 can tell you what love is, thats is up to you and you only, from what you say... it seems like it, except for the fact that you have only been with him for 4 months, i had these 2 firends who were the exact same way, it kinda sucked cuz my guy friend didnt hang out with all the guys as much, but he was happy, anyways... it lasted 6 months before they broke up, and then she was with another guy 2 days afterwards, basically im sayin, it sounds like you love him, just make sure he feels the same for you before you put everything you have into him, because if you do and he dosnt feel the same, your setting urself up for a major crash and burn. just give it some time, and keep things going the way they are, and you will be sittin pretty with a boy who loves u.

If your not ready you need to let him know that, hes gonna have to be a good boyfriend and understand how u feel. personally though i think you have been with him a long time, and he seems to have been faithful the whole time, it sounds to me like there shouldnt be a problem with him, if anything the problem is just you not being ready. you need to let him know that, so that he dosnt freak out and think that you dont love him anymore.

or you could always go for a run

Okay, here what I need help with..see I live with my mom and my grandma and we have 2 cats. We havent had a dog sense our last dog Max died. That was like 2 years ago and I have asked my mom if I can get a dog and shes like no..you have 2 cats you dont even take care of. I do take care of them. How do I show her that I am responsible enough where I can have a dog and take care of my 2 cats..I would do anything to have a dog. It would take like 2 days to get attached and yeah..I just want a dog!! Please Help me!!

sit down with your mother and talk with her, point out all the things you do to take care of the cats, feed them, change the litter, play with them. theres not much you need to do to take care for a cat. tell her how happy a dog would make you, and tell her the things you would do with the dog, so she knows that you know what needs to be done to take care of the dog, like feed it, walk it 2-3 times a day, make sure it has enough water all the time, play with him/her, give him/her love and attention, and keep him/her healthy.

Greg & I used to be best friends. And bf/gf. Then we broke up 9 months later. (A few weeks ago.) I'd love to still be friends with him but he acts like he hates me. I'm really upset because now he's going out with my other best friend, Amy, who SWORE she didn't like him as more than a friend and lied millions of times about how she couldn't imagine dating him, etc. I don't know who I'm more upset with. My traitor/backstabber 'friend' or my ex-boyfriend/ex-best friend who ditched me (after 9 great months of being close) for my stupid friend. She is all over him in front of me and he is all over her. It rips me in two. They've both forsaken me for each other. I want to die. Now I don't have any friends and it kills me to see them together. I love Greg so much and this hurts so bad. I have no idea what to do. I hate this. I wish they didn't like each other or something. It destroys me and they know it and they don't care. you need to tell him that you still care about him, let him know how much it hurts when you see him with some other girl, ESPECCIALY your ex-best friend.
he will ethier tell you that he still cares for you as well, and was just trying to make you jelous or trying to fill the viod of not having you.
or if he has any kind of heart... he will atleast not be all over her infront of you, he wont rub it in your face and "rip you in two" if he knows how much it hurts

i dont know what you can do to make the night awesome, but i do kno what you can do to not make it a night your gonna regret... dont give it up to him, im not saying thats all hes in it for, but MOST of the time, if a senior is going to a dance with a freshman (it dosnt seem like you know this guy real well) its because hes just trying to get some, just be careful and dont do anything you dont wanna do.
