Modeling?
I REALLY want to be a model. Like, I've never wanted anything so much bebfore, in my life. I am 5'2 and a size 5 (short) in jeans. I weigh 115. I'm working on the weight, I'm trying to get down to a size 2. So I'm not asking about that. Is my height a problem? Because I'm a fan of Tyra Banks and watch her talk show. I went to that sight and in her "So you want to be a model" part, she said you have to be 5'9 to model. So is my 5'2 height going to restrict me from modeling? I'm a 13 year old girl and probably still growing.

You know I wanted to be a model too. I went though the same thing. Just go into the place and talk to the manager about it. Thats what I did and I became a model. I was so happy. So dont worrie about it. You will be fine. There are also so many other kinds of models and you dont need to lose weight. Just go into the modeling agencie and do what they say. If you dont make it someone else will want you to model for them. So dont worrie about it!

im 5"9 and im a junior in highschool, i have some friends that model right now, and they are 5'5 or 5'6 and they are juniors too. you have plenty of time to grow, and even if you dont get to 5'9 i think you'll be just fine

If you means that you are 115 lbs then you do not need to lose weight. you weight is healthy for your height. you are the equvalant to about 8 stone. [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

Five foot two is way too short to model, you really do need to be at least five foot nine. The weight isn't really a problem, as long as there is like no fat on you (it could be muscle). Size 2 isn't really good enough, you need to be a size 0. I'm not going to lie, unless you are breathtakingly beuatiful, you probably won't make it past magazines if you even make it that far. They don't need teenage models right now, anyway. There are too many. Wait a few years to see if you grow...

yeah it is. i was a model for a while and im 5'1" and they told me right of the bat that i would not be about to do any kind of runway modeling because of my height. most runway models like tyra are about 5'9-5'11 and they are extremely strict about it. your height wont really restrict you just realize early that you will prob never get to be on a runway.. so you really wont get farther than just catalogs.. sorry!

ehh..yeah like runways i guess. you have to find the right modeling such as maybe not like TOP MODEL RUNWAY STAR but maybe do like magazine ads er something. it kind've depends. you probably wouldn't do body modeling, more face. you could get taller though, since you're only 13 & stuff.
