Alright, so on New Years Eve, me and my boyfriend[of 3 years :)] were in the shower together, and he put his penis inside of me, but im not on birth control yet, and he wasn't wearing a condom. So, like he started thrusting, and like it wasn't a long time at all, probably not even 3 minutes, but he pulled out. But I'm not sure if he got sperm in me, and i'm really nervous that I am going to get pregnant. We have had sex before, but every time he uses a condom. Is there any way i could tell if i am pregnant other than a pregnancy test? And if i have to use a pregnancy test, how long should i wait to go buy one? Please everyone answer, I need all the help I can get. Thanks So Much! ♥

All pregnancy tests on the market will pick show a positive result, a higher percentage of the time, if you wait until this point. also you should see a doctor!

MikeCFT answered Monday January 2 2006, 9:53 pm: Its possible that he could have had pre-cum if he didnt ejaculate which is capable of making someone pregnant which is why pulling out isn't always effective. Lots of things come into play such as at the time this happened when was the last time you had a period? if it was within 2 weeks after you finished your period, pregnancy becomes less likely. However if you were close to your next period, the possibility increases. Many women track their fertility by the color and texture of their vaginal discharge, usually the discharge becomes more cream colored and stickier during peak fertility times, but this is hard to really prove since each individual is different. Home pregnancy tests can be inaccurate, but a pregnancy hormone can be detected rather early in the pregnancy. Usually around 6 weeks but this varies from woman to woman, wait and see if your period comes and if it becomes more than a week or a week and a half late, see a doctor. twistedteen25 answered Monday January 2 2006, 8:19 pm: I think you have to have missed your period or something but im pretty sure you have to wait atleast a week or a week in a 1/2 to have your pregnancy test. Best of luck hun but I don't think you can be pregnant.
strictlyrouge answered Monday January 2 2006, 7:15 pm: pregancy tests are ineffective until 1 day after your missed period, so you're just going to have to wait. otherwise, theres no way to tell for certain.
some of the more common signs are missed period (of course), swollen breasts, nausea/vomitting, and abdominal cramps.
