From a female,
When you are sexually active is there supposed to be hair uhh "down there"? or do you shave it off or what? sorry if this is like a stupid question or whatever but i'll rate.

Guys not liking hair down there because it causes irritation is totally bogus. That is what the hair is there for in the first place: to decrease irritation from friction. And smells only get trapped there if you haven't bathed recently. A bit of a trim and a shower totally negate both of those complaints so really, it's about preference. You just need to decide if it's going to be about HIS preference, YOUR preference, or what you think OTHER PEOPLE think your preference should be.
If you prefer being clean shaven because you like the way it looks, whether you're sexually active or not, then go for it. Shave it off completely, shave it into shapes, go crazy!! But if you'd rather keep some or all of the hair, then leave it alone and go on with your life.
And remember that if you do shave it off and you're doing it for someone else, you're the one that will have to live with the upkeep, the irritation on your skin as the hair grows back between shaves, etc. Don't let the Barbie dolls from the world of pornography or social stereotypes or people you know make decisions like this for you. Yeah it's a pretty simple thing, but because it's so simple, surely no guy would mind you deciding for yourself...

It's totally up to you. Every guy I've talked to said they liked it shaven. You got a man....talk to him and see what he would prefer down there. Shaven is more cleaner. When you have hair the scent of urine gets trapped in the hair. Disgusting yes, but the truth.

most guys like is soft and shaven or waxed just cause it could sometimes irritate them during sex so ya its up to ya and your bf!

Its not a stupid question at all,i used to be confused myself.Its really your choice what you want to do.Talk to your partner about it and what he/she prefers.Ive heard that guys like it better shaved though if that helps any.

It really depends on the girl. I would say most girls do, just because most guys like it shaved. Talk to your boyfriend and decide if you both want you to or want. Oh and there is nothing wrong with deciding not to shave.

It depends. If you want to shave it, then do so. And if you dont want it shaved then dont. Theres no rule that says you have to or not. It depends on you and i suppose your partner as well. :) HOPE I HELPED

When you start puberty, your body begins to grow pubic hair [that's the hair "down there"], just as hair begins to grow under your arms.
If you're asking if you should shave if you are sexually active... that is your's, and your boyfriend's, preferences. There is no reason you need to shave unless you want to do so.

You dont have to do anything.. it's just a preference of what you are more comfortable with, and/or what your sexual partner prefers.. It's up to you... some people like it shaved nd other people hate it shaved.. most people i know of shave though

During puberty women grow pubic hair, same way they start to grow hair under their arms.
It has nothing to do with being sexually active; it is just the way a mature woman's body is.
Some woman choose to remove the hair and some don't, but pretty much every woman has it grows.

It is all up to you. If you are more comfortable with no hair then shave it. If you are comfortable with hair then keep it. If you have a boyfriend/girlfriend then ask him/her what he/she prefers;hair or hairless.
