Hi. I like this girl a lot and i was thinkin of writing her a poem or song but i cant play any music for it since i play the drums not the guitar. I'm having trouble writing the poem. Any ideas on what i can do?

just write it and sing it, you dont have to put music behind it, if its good, and sweet and thoughtful, shell melt, trust me i write alot of songs, not nessecarity for girls, but when i do they love em, and i cant play any instrament. shit i wouldnt even call what i do signin, but they still love it none the less cuz of all the thought you put into it

I always like poems dealing with the moon, beaches, roses, things like that.

with the poem just write down how you feel about her and then start putting it together with how you think it sounds good. thats how i usually write my songs/poems.
im not sure how you could do the music with it but maybe like learn 3 chords on the guitar and make it into something or just sing it or somehthing. what ever you do i'm sure she'll love it :)

AWW!! Your a really sweet person and i think that you should right her a poem ... i mena not all poems have to rhym but when you get the 1st line down i think you will have no problem
You could burn her a cd that has some sweet songs on it
But i mean if your poem is not the best i sill think that the girl will still like it because it came from your heart and it really will show her that you like her

ok just write what you feel or whatever..and if you cant turn it into a poem or song..then just list lines of sweet stuff or something..make it unique..make it your own

aww that is sooo sweet!! if you cant write her a song then thats okay, just make a poem that is kinda ment to be a song. when you make the poem think of the reasons why you like her so much and the things that you have in common and why you should be together. stuff like that.

Well, instead of wrighting a poem, why not give her a song off a cd that shows her how you feel?

Not all poems rhyme.
Concentrate on what reminds you of her. Start by writing down all of her good qualities :
Funny
Smart
Kind... etc.
Then write down the words that remind you of her :
Roses
Love songs
Birds
Pink ... etc.
Then write down words that describe what you want and think you could have with her :
Love
Relationship
Fun...etc.
Now combine all of that [and, of course, a few other words] into your song / poem. You don't have to put music to it, any girl would love to have a song written for her!!
You could always read up on some poems online to see what kind of poem interests you most
