hi icey,
i have a question. my boyfriend asked me the other day wat i would do if he did somthing with another girl. i was taken aback and wasnt sure if it was a sign. is he doing stuff behind my back? i wanted to know what other people would do in my situation and if your bf was doing somthing, what would you do?

Well as much as I hate to say this, your boyfriend sounds ... not too faithful. If I were you I would tell him straight out "I would leave you." The minute you let guys have affairs, they take you for granted. And all sorts of other problems come along with it.

Well to really decide that you would have to provide us with a little more information about his character and his relationship with his girlfriend. There might be a chance that he likes you, but then again a know a lot of guys who are madly in love with their girlfriends and still flirt around (that's just their personality). Good luck.

My names "Ali" and i met my friend, joe in grade 7. I am now in grade 12 and hes in University. He has gay tactics which are not attractive for a girl. So i went to prom with him because we were friends and such. I think hes starting to like me though because hes overprotective and never wants me to like anyone even if their his best friends, (who are so sweet). His mom put our prom picture in her kitchen where his whole Italian family can see it. It is so annoying and i will never EVER like him more than just a friend. How should I tell him?

One thing I can tell you is that it's better to tell him now than to tell him laater, when he might be more hurt. Just tell him nicely and clearly that there can never be anything else between the two of you other than a friendship. He might be a little hurt but he'll get over it (I'm 95% sure of that). I'm 15 female
I can't stand my family, my dads an alcolholic,my brothers a pot head and has been locked up 3different times on his way of getting locked up again, and my mom is working her way to become an alcolholic, my other brother is in the marines and i don't speak to him. It's like I'm the only one is my house that's normal that doesn't smoke pot or drink barely get in trouble. I'm just so sick of it. I'm scared that pretty soon im going to be all by myself. Like my whole family is going to die either from doing drugs or drinking to much alcolhol. How do i deal with this...make it all go away and make it where it doesn't bother me anymore.

I know it's hard to talk about these things but you should let them all know how you feel, it might make them change a little, it might not make them chage a lot. But at least you'll know that you tried. With this type of things is hard to get people to change their ways. That's all I can say. Best of luck to you.

Don't worry about that, the GREAT boyfriends very seldom comment on your pictures, I know this from past experience. Just because he doesn't tell you that you look pretty doesn't mean he doesn't think you are. Good luck.

If you feel you're not ready, there isn't anyone in this world that should make you do it. Don't let him talk you into doing something you feel uncomfortable doing. Just tell him straght out "I dont want to do this", if he cares for you deep enough he'll accept it and go on with your relationship normally. Best of luck.

I want my hair to be less frizzy and big..what can I do?
I have to get a hair cut and get more layers since parts of my hair are dead. I've tried using gel and hairspray but it makes my hair curly.. And that just makes it more frizzier than it was before. I dont know what to use. Is there some product or hair treatment that I can do? It seems like if I try to straighten my hair..it'll poof up. >__ (link)

Hmm... how have you tried to strighten your hair? The most effective way to do it is to blow dry it throughtly first then straighten it with a hair iron, and afterwards you apply either a little bit of hair grease or some hair styling lotion to calm it down.

I get really bad headaches all the time..i take advil and they go away..should i go to a doctor and see if there is anything wrong with me?

Yes I believe you should go. A dear friend of mine had a situation similar to that and she had to get some procedure done. Hopefully that's not your case but you should consult a professional.

ok so today my freind showed up i school with this gorgeous sweater on... however it was sooooo tight on her... it looked bad on her and she looked liek a slu*. (sry) and so like she wears a cami under it(it was a v-neck) but the v nexk litterally comes around her breasts. and it makes her boobs look huge. she gets medium adn not to be rude but she's fat and I get smalls and im pretty skinny. she always dresses like this and i hear people talking about it. how can i tell her she is dressing inapropriately? she's my BF and i want her to be known as lovely. First of all if this was my best friend I would never compare her to a "slu*". My guess is that if she dresses like that is because she likes it, try not to be so superficial. Anyway, if you do tell her be carefull she might take it the wrong way.

i think i might have a phobia of some sort...
before i have to give a speech or even read out loud i freak out. i have something like a panic attack. i cant breathe right, my mouth is dry, my voice shakes, i start trembling etc...
are there any medications i can take for this?

I think that is more of a psychological problem, I don't think medications will help a lot there. And I don't think it's anxiety either, anxiety is when you feel you need something but don't know what (people sometimes eat a lot because of this condition). Anyway, you're not the only one. For one, I am a pretty fast reader but when I have to read out loud I tend to studder a bit. And I'm also stage frightened.
My advice is you need a boost of self confidence, try to relax, maybe meditate.
If it still continues seek help froma psychologist.

Well, it's hard to tell. Guy's behave in a special kind of way. One thing I can tell you is not to be drooling over him and acting like his other girl friends, this just makes you one among many. Try to be yourself and unique, guys like that.

My parents never let me, nor take me to get my hair cut. I want bangs so bad, so im thinking about cutting them myself. I have the proper scissors for it, I just need like on strand. But i dont know how to do it and i dont want to screw my hair up. Any tips on how to do it nicely? (link)

1. Wash it.
2. Comb it.
3. Using your comb dived the hair horizontally about one inch from your forhead, then comb that section of hair neatly in front of your face.
4. Take the scissors and envently cut the hair the length you want the bangs to be.
5. Dry it and Viola!
P.S.- I don't think you should do it without your parent's permision though.

OK, see I'm going out with this guy...and he's really really sweet and nice and everything, he's what I think every girl would want. BUT the only thing is...he's not good looking....at all I guess...he's not like the ugliest person on earth...but he's just not cute at all. And like I'm afraid people at my school will make fun of me, because you know, Blue Valley..think about it..girls here..we judge...what do I do? Do I dump the guy? or do I keep on going out with this guy and ignore everything?

It all depends on what you feel. If you feel comfortable with him, treats you nicely and you like him even though he's not so physically appealing then stay with him. Don't worry about what other people say, don't let others control your life, make your own desicions based on your feelings.
Plus, sometimes it's a lot better to be with a guy who's beautiful inside, than with a handsome one that has a bad personality.
My advice is, if you like him stick with him, don't worry about what people say, [it's your life].

I'm a 17/F, junior in high school. I'm seriously debating dropping out my senior year. Just finish out school until I'm 18 and no longer legally have to attend. I simply hate school, all it does is cause problems and drama in my life. With the things I've done, I wont get accepted into college anyway, so I figure I'll go to a community college when I'm ready because you don't even have to graduate to go to one of those. I already have a job that I absolutely love, so finding a job because I'm a dropout wont be a problem, and I'll be going to college anyway. Everyone I know is a senior this year, so next year will be miserable when all my friends are gone, and teachers suck, and other people are just self centered assholes, that I don't want to be around anyway. What are the pros and cons of dropping out for me at this point? Is anyone out there a dropout? Any experiences to share? (link)

Well your school sounds like hell but I think you should endure it and go through your last year there. I mean you've been there for four years, you may as well finish what you started. And maybe it wont be helpfull to you much now, but in the future you can set an example for your kids. Think about it and dont do something you will regret. I think in life a great deal of sacrifices have to be made and later on we find out that taking the easiest path out wasn't really the best choice.

Well first you should ask your friend if it upsets her if you go for the same guy as she. If she says it does then ask yourself which one is more important to you, your friend, or the guy. Keep in mind that the lust for the boy might vanish but a friendship is longer lasting.

To be honest A part of me doesnt want a boyfriend right now and another part does. Ive been going out with my bf for two years today.. I'm still young and my boyfriend is two years older. I dont realy know what to do or say right now but ive felt like crap today. Its hard to expalin..When he kisses, hugs me, or anything i dont feel butterflys or somthing special. But.. When this new kid that i just met yesterday (ive hung out with him all day the last two days) if i just think about him i get butterflys and i can feel my heart pounding...

I believe the same thing happened to me. Sometimes we feel that we should stay with a person because we've been together with him/her for such a long time. But truth be told, nothing lasts forever, specially when we are young, love comes and goes. If you dont feel that there is chemistry between your current boyfriend and you then I think it is better to let him go then to be miserable yourself, who knows you might get a chance with that other kid. Dont be afraid to take a leap sometimes (as long as it isn't into something bad) later it might be sad to think about the "could have been".

Hi Guys my girlfriend is a couple of years younger than me (23) but she acts like a little kid! When we're out with her friends that are her same age group she's acts completely normal and I am so attracted to her as a person when she's like this. BUT whenever she's out with my friends (their my age) she acts like a little brat, i'm a pretty patient person so have put up with it for a while now, but its starting to be a problem as i feel a little nervous whenever I take her out.
she's acts like this constantly when we're with her family too (she's the youngest child), and i guess her family has treated her like she's the youngest child like forever...
What should I do? I really love this girl, but its just in circumstances where its starting to stress me out. If its a psychological thing i wanna help her through this, just wondering what you guys thought. (link)

First, logical thing; try talking to her and explaining how you feel towards her behavior in a very nice and caring manner, dont make it look like you're calling her immature or anyhing of the sort.
If it is a psychological thing I am not sure you will be of much aid because in my opinion for people to drastically mature and grow life has to hit them in the face with something harsh so they learn form it.
Anyhow, if you really love her try to help her out to the best of your ability. If that doesn't work than you should just accept her how she is, sometimes people are not who we want them to be, regardless of that we still love them.
