omg i think i like the same guy as my friend! i hate this, how do you stop having feelings for somebody? i can't control my feelings anymore and even though i know this is just an infatuation, i want him and at the same time i don't want my friend to be pissed at me! WHAT DO I DO???

Well first you should ask your friend if it upsets her if you go for the same guy as she. If she says it does then ask yourself which one is more important to you, your friend, or the guy. Keep in mind that the lust for the boy might vanish but a friendship is longer lasting.

Every teenage girl at least once on her life goes through the smae thing. It is a girl thing.If youre friend is a true friend then when she friends out she will understand. Just always remmber that boyfriends and crushes will always come and go but true friend will always be there for you. my best pal had a crush on this girl for like ages, then when it came time for the final year prom she somehow got my number and asked me to take her. being the selfish bastard that i was (and also the fact that she was extremely hot), i ended up taking her (i did have a concscience mind you! spent a month struggling over whether i should do it).
anyway 10 years later me and my best pal are the best of friends still (the girl is out of the picture though). so moral of the story is real friends stay forever, and always want the best for you. But that also applies to you too, you should also want the best for your friend, so depending on who this guy turns out being attracted if it turns out to be you then great! but if it turns out he's attracted to your friend I would back off and be happy for your friend.
