hugsNkisses answered Wednesday January 4 2006, 5:32 pm: well, using a raizor to shave "downstairs" could result in itchiness and bumps. its just raizorburn. it would probably be a good idea to use shaving cream and moisturize if youre not already. also, a better choice would be to wax instead. good luck!

Linds answered Tuesday January 3 2006, 6:43 pm: yeah .. you should get nair.. but dont put it inside your thing.. cause that will hurt realllyyyyy bad.. just put it where theres hair.. or stubbles.. leave it on for 5-7 minutes and then go in the shower and shave it off..
the reason why its itchy might be beacause you had a lot of hair there.. so if you get some of it off with the nair.. then its a lot easier and smoother..
yeah i didnt explain that well how to do it.. leave the nair on and after the 7 or whatever minutes are up.. (while the nair is on) shave it off..
-----------------
sometimes it depends what kind of razor you have..
venus razors work really good because they dont cut you as easliy as others..
emotedardorxx4 answered Tuesday January 3 2006, 4:43 pm: It could either be that the razor is dull, you're shaving to often.. or shaving against the hair growth... i always find that it hurts when you shave up which is against the way the hair grows.. so it is less painful to shave downward or sideways.. just my opinion though i dont know what everyone else does.. hope this helped<3 [ emotedardorxx4's advice column | Ask emotedardorxx4 A Question ]
jealousyxo answered Tuesday January 3 2006, 4:13 pm: Ehh i hate that feeling.Well, there are some possible reasons why.
-you have some ingrown hairs
-you need a new razor, too much hair build up
-your shaving too much
-you dont use shaving cream/lotion
I would suggest using lotion after you shave.Use shaving cream while shaving even though it might clog up your razor a bit.Use a new razor at least maybe after 3 shaves.Try using nair or another waxing product to get your hair off,i havent tried it but i heard its easier. You should also shave the right way, shave the way your hair grows,so you have no ingrown hairs.I hope i could help!
Xx5So3SiCk0xX answered Tuesday January 3 2006, 12:05 pm: you might be shaving to often, and you might need to use some sort of shaving cream or at least soap if you're not already doing that
ThugGirl041790 answered Tuesday January 3 2006, 7:03 am: This could be razor burn hun.. [it sucks]
Here are some tips on shaving that area hun..
1..Shave with a new razor..
2..Don`t shave with the same razor you shave your legs/under arms with..
3..Shave with Shaving cream soap or Conditionor..[I recommend a conditionor that makes your hair real soft..]
4..Shave in the direction the hair grows in..
5..Put a non scented lotion on the area after shaving..
[you can also try nair or waxing] ♥ Dez [ ThugGirl041790's advice column | Ask ThugGirl041790 A Question ]
Behnnie answered Tuesday January 3 2006, 2:10 am: Shaving is shaving, no matter where you do it so the same basic rules will apply. The only real difference is that the skin in some places is more sensitive than in others!
As long as you let the skin and hair relax for a while first in warm (not hot) water and you use shaving gel/ cream/ lotion, you should be fine. There are always going to be exceptions- for example, people with especially sensitive skin- but for the most part, those two steps will cover most issues. Well, those two steps, and time.
If you're experiencing a lot of discomfort, try shaving in the direction of the hair growth instead of against it for a while. (I tried that on my legs until the skin stopped reacting so strongly to shaving and it helped.) And don't shave too often. That doesn't give the skin time to heal and can aggravate ingrown hairs. Also, applying lotion of any kind immediately after shaving anywhere is not usually a good idea. More often than not it will just sting and further irritate the skin. Amberlyx3 answered Tuesday January 3 2006, 2:05 am: You're not doing anything wrong at all, it's simply because your skin isn't used to it. If shave everyday the razor burn will go away completely, but once you stop it will come back until your skin gets used to it again. you pretty much have to shave often if you want to avoid razor burn.
SoInToYoUx0x answered Tuesday January 3 2006, 12:27 am: you not doin anything wrong. it is a razor burn and to make it better whta you can try to do is after shavin it put some lotion on it and it should amke it feel better.

TotalTrouble answered Monday January 2 2006, 10:33 pm: No, you aren't doing anything wrong. You just have to get used to it. You have to start shaving 'down there' for awhile before it starts to go away. It used to happen to me, but after awhile it goes away.
