I'm in Middle School and every1 is wearing makeup and long earrings! my mom won't let me but sometimes i sneak out of the house with some eyeshadow on. and i can't wear hoops ( even small 1's!) on any day except tuesday when we have chapel. what should i do??

my friend had that problem and she wasnt allowed to wear make up until she turned 13. maybe you should ask your mom if that can be a privilege you get when you turn 14 (im hoping you are over 13). make up is not that great when you are young..if you wait then you will have a better complexion when you do wear it and it will instantly re-invent you instead of having to try multiple new things to make yourself over. hoops arent really in style anymore...long and chandelier ones are. dont do somthing just because everyone else is...not worth it. if you want to just get a confidence boost, pinch your cheeks to make them rosy, curl your eyelashes and use vaseline as mascara and/or lipgloss.

This week, I'm going to the movie with a bunch of my friends. It'll be 2 of my friends & their boyfriends & me & my guyfriend. We haven't known eachother that long & everyone says we're a relationship in the making. When all my friends are making out, people say that we'll just end up doing it too because we won't be able to help ourselves. Is that true? If so, what should I do? Go along with it?

hi..okay well one of my bestfriends (mary) is saying that i am replacing her and that i dont hangout with her anymore wich isnt true becuz i do..and like i became really good friends with this other girl (beth) and mary is like saying that i replaced her with beth and that i hangout with her all the time and stuff and i dont like hangout with her and i mean i hangout with beth alot but its becuz she always asks me to hangout and mar never does...and shes saying that every1 is saying that and like wat should i do?

well when you ask beth to hang out then also invite mary and dont cling to beth. ive been the mary before and been replaced and its not fun when you see them 2 together when that used to be you and your friend. tell her how much she means to you frequently.

ok im almost afraid to give you a staight answer since you gave mackenzie, the best advice giver i know, a 3 for a legit answer. anyway, write it down, save it to favorites, put it on your arm, save it on a cell, email the link to yourself. thats all you can do besides remembering the name. i wouldnt come back if you are going to rate down...not only do people not appreciate that but it could get some people really mad at you. not a good way to start out.

what if you are in the orchestra and can't get fake nails cuz it will mess up your playing..but i REALLY want some for school..so what should i do?!!?!

well i got fake nails during vball season and i got the really cheap kind that are only supposed to last 3days so i put them on after practice then had them on the next day then took them off before practice on the 3rd day. hope this is an option for you!

hey i was just wondering if anyone knew the age you have to be to work at hollister co. there is a new store coming to the closest mall to me and i called and applied as a sales associate and they called and i forgot to ask them if there was a certain age you had to be to work there and i have a meeting thing tomorrow and i dont even know if im old enough to work there! i know that you have to be 18 to work at a&f but if anyone helps me on this ill rate 5's

i would think its around 16-18. i guess you will find out if you old enough when you go to the meeting. just act a few years older and hope they forget to check the DOB.

ok, well all my friends have secrets. Everyone does.. right? well i dont know why but EVERYONE tells me their problems and secrets, sometimes it can be something really small that i can stand like "i like _____" but sometimes they're REALLY big like "i've been raped! dont tell anyone!". Now i'm really popular when it comes to friends so i'm holding ALL of THEIR secrets! one of these days i'm gonna combust and tell everyone all these secrets. I want to be there for my friends, but i dont want to go crazy holding everyone thought, secrets, and personal problems. What do i do?!

o wow thats gotta be tough. well you are lucky they trust you so much! i generrally have to find out from someone i know will tell...yeah real secretive. i dont tell the secretee that i know, i put it in my journal so i can just forget about it and i have it there for reference. try that, it works for me.

Ok well this goes to my last question but ne ways I have this bf and we've been together eight months went through roughs times well I found this other guy. Who was nice comforted me and made me feel happy. He asked me out I said I didn't know cause technically me and my other bf called it quits cause we knew it wouldn't work long distance over summer. So I didn't know which one to pick but now I've decided to stay with my eight month bf and stick it out through rough times but what should I say to the guy that asked me out because I don't know how to tell him I don't want to date him while being nice. Take in also when I tell him that I don't want to date him I don't want to hurt his feelings were really good friends and he's my ex. I'll rate good!

oh boy. my friends had a case exactly like it...i was the girl helping out the guy your gonna say no to! it is really hard on them but the easiest way to do it is say you are going to try to make the other guy work out but theres nothing wrong with him. dont lead him on either...that was the girl's biggest mistake. she flirt with him like they were together then turned him down...it was sad. just be nice and dont lecture him about it. ok im 15 and sometimes i feel like my boyfriend wants me to do more than just making out. But i dont think im ready and i dont want to yet. for some people 6 months is like an eternity and for some its just the begining. i mean seriously, some people do more than that on a first date b/c theyre ready for it. if you dont feel you are ready, dont do it and im sure you dont stand alone. no, theres nothing wrong with it. stay true

So I have the worst stomache in the history of man. Now, thinking back to elementary school, the Nurse always recommended a saltine cracker or two. QUESTION IS: WHY was that? Was is something SPECIFIC about the CRACKER? And is there any other food the average household stocks that can beat this intense pain? I will be soo thankful of helpful answers - this pain is sooo bad it could ultimately take my life. =/ gr.

i really dont think theres anything to a saltine cracker b/c my nurse would give us peppermints. honestly, i think its a psycological thing to just keep your mind off of it so you can concentrate in school. or it could be that you are hungry...either way, get somthing to eat or if nothing else, drink some water. dont have things with citrus alone (i.e. orange juice) that might be causing it.

yes its perfectly safe to do at home. just make sure theyre on right and you have the right size for each nail or it will look weird or just be uncomfortable.

Ok so I wanna dye my hair henna red. Do you know where I can find a level 2 (washes out in 28 shampoos) hair dye? My hair is kind of dark brown (not THAT dark darker than just brown). thx a lot!!!!

i would try target, walmart, cvs pharmacy or walgreens. one of them is bound to have it. you could try sally's if they dont have it.

well if you lie, they will catch you. and if they catch you, i doubt you'll get a job again. they will get sources to make sure its true by the way. just dont tell them what you did in those 3 years unless they ask.
