A broken hymen will not cause cramps or cause your stomach to hurt. Some women don't even bleed or feel any pain at all. The only way to tell if your hymen is still intact is to use a mirror and look.

Okay i know all these does he like me questions get old but i really can't tell if he just likes me as a friend or more. So my bf and i have been in a relationship for about two years. He is 19 and I am 18. He moved to georgia (I live in PA) in June but has been visiting a few times. Yes. Do talk to him about it. Now that you are long distance communication is even more important.
I should tell you, even though I do wish it weren't so, that long distance romance usually doesn't work out. The reason being that at your age you want to go and do things. Dating and doing all those social things is a real big part of your lives right now.
Those things are impossible when there is distance between you.
It is also very easy to be so involved
in your new school and with new friends,
you forget to keep in touch with he old ones.
That may be whats happening with him right
now.
So by all means talk to him about this. I
know you don't want to break up with him,
and I hope that doesn't happen, but you do
need to discuss it with him so he isn't going
on with a social life and leaving you waiting.

The birth control pill will make SOME women gain 1-3
pounds at most. Not enough to worry about if you exercise regularly.
You will not suddenly weigh 200 lbs, even though I am sure some women will try and use that as an excuse. Much better than weight gain from pregnancy!

ok so i just been on my period and today i went back on the pill (the 21 day one) but i still bled today. me and my boyfriend had sex today and he accidentally came inside me, can i get pregnant? or will the pill stop it if i just take it everyday normally? if not can i take the morning after pill even if im on the 21day pill??

If you are taking your birth control pills as prescribed you are just fine. Weather you are still having your period or not doesn't make a difference at all. Just continue to take it as directed. :)

hey, this is the girl who has the anxiety attacks. well, i had a personal question...hope you don't mind. so, im in highschool, and on wednesday(sp?), i was coming out of my 8th period class to go to my 9th, the class i MOST hate. i guess i was pretty nervous, because next thing i know, i can't breathe. my 8th period teacher was outside with his best friend [and i happen to have a small crush on both of them], but i retired to a corner to hide my frustration. could i have subconsciously gotten this one to get attention or something? is that what they all are, or am i really sick?? again, i hope you don't mind, and i'm sorry for bothering. I wouldn't say you were sick. Its more a mental thing really. I don't mean you are mentally ill either, don't get the wrong idea. :)
A panic attack can be brought on by
fear or by being nervous about something.
Its still best to see a doctor about it
simply because other illness can cause the
same symptoms. While you probably are just
having panic attacks, its always better to
know for sure so they can be treated. It
can get out of control in some people
making them not want to leave the house
or do other things a normal teen wants to do.
I don't think this is you trying to get attention.
You hid after all so you wouldn't be seen.
Good luck with this. Its not all that
uncommon and you certainly aren't alone in

im 15/f, and though i dont think i've ever had an anxiety attack, lately, when i feel uncomfortable, my body gets hot [specially my chest], and even though i take deep breaths i end up having to go outside to get some cold air. i sweat a little because of the heat but i dont tremble. i also feel my heart skip a beat and then beat faster, out of nowhere. i dont know what's wrong with me,i suffer from depression but i dont think this is serious, but i would still like some advice. thanks in advance =]. What you describe sounds like an anxiety attack,
but check with your doctor. If you are taking meds for your depression, there is a chance it is a side effect.
I have worked in an emergency room and I can give
you the high dollar treatment used on patients
to relieve an anxiety attack. Get a paper bag and breathe into it until you calm down. One of those
paper lunch bags would be great, and you can carry it with you. You're hyperventilating. Stop when you are breathing normally.
You still need to get with a doctor about it. They
can probably give you something to prevent having them at all. It would also be good for you to know the cause of them. :)

As has been said before me, don't rush things.
You need to ask yourself some tough questions.
Why are you emotionally attached to this other
guy? Is he your babies father by chance?
Regardless of that, if he is the one wouldn't
you be together right now? Does he only make
you feel like there is a future for the two of
you when you get really close to another guy?
(you said it has happened before).
Is this emotional attachment just yours, or is it shared? Don't mess up your future waiting for someone who has no intention of taking it beyond what you have now.
If you really, really love the guy you are engaged
to, then you have to work on that relationship.
It may mean putting distance between yourself and the 4 year man. If he is the babies father and that is impossible to do, then the less contact the better, Preferably with someone else around.
If he is the babies father, you should know that there will always be emotional baggage attached.
It doesn't mean you have to give up all other men who come along. Just because it is there doesn't mean it would make a good basis for a long term relationship. Its just history you have to learn to live with. :)

Couple weeks ago, my friend has a party. I went with one of my good friends, Amber. Since she drove, she promised that she wouldn't drink and if she did, she wouldn't have a lot. Once we got to the party I asked her for her keys just INCASE and I hid them in my purse. Like usual, she thought she wouldn't get drunk, she did.
She got SOO wasted that she couldn't even walk for 5 seconds and it freaked me out because everyone there was drunk and I didn't know how to drive but we both had to get home since our parent's and her sister were calling non-stop.
I finally answered to her sister's phone call and explained to her what was going on and she came to pick us up. I did not want Amber to be driving drunk and get us killed. I would never let that happen.
The next day, she was so furious with me that I took her keys and wouldn't let her drive. She even knew I had them. She was also very mad at me for calling her sister and now her sister is mad at her.
I can't help but feel like this is my fault. I didn't want us to get hurt and then regret anything later. What do I do? Advice? Thank you. (link)

I feel bad your friend is mad at you. You don't
deserve that. She's alive to get over it though.
The designated driver should never drink AT ALL.
So she didn't hold up her end of the bargain. If
anyone deserves to be mad, it is you and anyone
else she was supposed to be getting home safely.
This could have turned out so much worse than
having her sister mad at her. She could have
had to explain to her family, her friends
families, Everyone she knows WHY she drove them
home drunk and killed them all. You just explain
to her she got off easy.
I'm sure you know this already...but don't rely
on this friend as a driver again. Oh I'm just
so proud of how you handled this! Stay safe. :)
