A few thoughts I've gathered from my teenage years (and being on this site for most of them!):
1. If you Google song lyrics, the song will come up 99% of the time.
2. Dress to fit your body type, and buy the size that fits. If you're a size 6, squeezing into a 4 won't make you look skinnier. It makes you look fat when you aren't.
3. You will never regret waiting to lose your virginity.
4. There is such a thing as a stupid question, but we're all allowed to ask them.

I'll get right to it -
lets say there was a list of 10000 different classes you could take, everything from cooking to selfdefense, what class would you take? ölike, what would you actually ENJOY doing (not like math and physics haha) what seminar would you willingly go to, to hear about a class..

so basically, if you could invent a class that doesn't exist what would it be?
or have you ever been to some kind of class that you would love to go to again or even have as a real class in school??

I'd love to take a photography class. The highschool I go to is great, its high tech an has teachers with masters degrees, et cetera. But it's a technicial school, so there's wayyy to much emphasis on sports and SkillsUSA (for the best of the best shop students).

Most other highschools, like my town's, have photography, but it's integrated into a Communications Tech class, so it's not all you do.

So, I'd love to get highschool credit for a class that's ALL, 100% photography :]

I've been kind of bummed lately. I am 14, I have never kissed a girl, or even had a girlfriend.

I have plenty of friends (enough to make me happy), and I have no problem talking to girls as friends, but not other than that.

I have had plenty of girls that "liked" me, but most of the time it didn't work out (for random reasons), or they just didn't seem right for me.

Unlike a lot of guys, I am not just in it for sex (that would be great, but it's not my first priority). I just want someone to be with.

No, you're not behind. You just haven't found the right girl that deserves you yet.

Seriously, any teenage guy that doesn't just want sex.. well, that's pretty much amazing. And really rare these days.

In the meantime, flirt!!! and be friends with girls (like you already are) because when you need help with a girl you like, it's nice to have input from the opposite sex, especially her friends. :]

Is there anyway I can create a small Windows pop up window to automatically pop up on my computer on the same day of every month to remind me to pay my cell phone bill?

You could use a reminder feature in your email, or use a home voicemail system to call your house every month.

Or you could do what everyone else does, which is pay the bill when it arrives. A good reminder is always the one shoved under your nose every month at the same time. TOo bad the mail doesn't get delievered virtually every day.. oh wait!
That JSUT MIGHT work.

If you pay online, there's a way to get reminder emails. Plus it comes automatically.

This isn't exactly a "help me" kind of question, but, it is a valed question. I was just wondering, if anyone decides to answer me..."What is happening here?" I have been going through the questions and I am lucky if I see every 4th question have one answer! It used to be every question had at least 5 or 6 answers. Anything happening I should know about? Isn't anyone here anymore? Well, thank you for those of you who do answer.

A lot of questions jsut honestly aren't worth answering, or they have so many errors it's illegible. AnD wHeN pEoPlE tYpE liKe ThIs, we don't read it at all sometimes.

why would she lie to me. of course if you are wandering her name is jessica all she does is lie to me stab me in the back for example( everything that comes out uf her mouth is pretty much a big fat lie she will be like no i didnt lie to you but she did. AFTER a three days she will admit the truth if you ask her she forgets stuff0.

If you're not getting along, this so-called "friendship" will only drag you down and hold you back. Why are you friends in the first place? Has she ever contibuted anything positive? If not, you should seriously consider ending this. It doesn't sound like she's worth your time.

Ok I love desperate houswives and im addicted. I am recently in the mid east and i dont get abc or anything like that. But then i remembered that I could watch the whole episode online on abc.com but then when i went to go watch the season premere it said it was only available to viwers in the usa so now im hecka bummed! I have very bad eczema on my left hand and a little on my right hand. It flares up, I treat it with Demovate Steroid Cream and it goes down after about a week and a half. Three weeks later, just as my skin has healed, it comes back. This has been happening for six months and I need something that will get rid of it.

My doctor is referring me to a Dermatologist but I was wondering if there are any natural or herbal remedies for eczema I could try or anything I could do to prevent it? It feels like my hand is on fire first, then it's SO intensly itchy I can only run ice all over my hand constantly to help it and when it goes, my skin is wrinkled and prune like, scabby where I scratch in my sleep and the skin peels away.

Please help me if you can!

I used to have TERRIBLE eczema. Going to a dermatologist is a good idea, because they can determine what'd be best to treat it.

In the meantime, I'll personally recommend Eucerin, its the best moisturizer I've used and it makes the itch go away. Also, it's non-greasy and doesn't stink (always a plus). Also, an oatmeal mask may help with the itching (3TBSP ground oatmeal, 2TBSP milk or cream) and ice cold water will help the burning (and will probably be less messy than an ice cube)

Well today after one got home there was this awful smell traveling through our house and we believe a skunk sprayed our house. But we think it is trapped in our house or dead. The smell keeps traveling and we dont know how to get rid of it. Any ideas? thank you.

Open all the windows, and follow the smell. Like, where is it strongest? The skunk is probably in that general area. Or check the furnace/fireplace/central air (it could be trapped and spraying through the vents).

In the meantime, buy Febreze by the barrel and invest in some good clothespins. And make sure your basement and foundation have no cracks or holes. :]

well over the summer ive lost 30 pounds i usually get my period on the 14th of the month and its now the 21st! can losing weight make your period irregular?

Yes, it can. If you're really worried, you could ask your doctor at your next checkup, but I'm sure nothing's wrong.

My iPod nano has recently been acting up. It won't play music at all; everytime I choose a song it immediately goes to the next song, then the next, then the next, until it reaches the end at which point it returns to the main menu (which is normal when the playlist is finished.) I'm having trouble getting on without my music!! Help me, please!

Try Resetting it, whether it be via iPod updater, or directly from iTunes (if you have the newest version). This should clear up any software issues, and it sounds like this is the case here.

If that doesn't work, see if your iPod is cracked from anytime you dropped it, scratched, et cetera. The hardware may have been damaged.

It contradicts the Bible. Thecontroversy is that Dan Brown has somehow sabotaged the religion or whatever. I personally don't know what the big deal is. It's a good book (I'm in the middle of it) and it's FICTION. FICTION. As in, not real!!

Under CLAF (change look and feel) there's a spot for music. Here you put the *working* URL for the song oyu want in your xanga. I great site for this is www.webjay.org. Copy the "download" link (it should end in .mp3 or .wma) and paste it in.

If you'd rather have a drop-down music player (in other words, multiple songs in a playlist) copy the playlist code form this site: http://www.xanga.com/musicURL (its about halfway down on the left-hand side). Paste it into wordpad; it's pretty self-explanatory. Where it says "SONG TITLE 0", put the title of a song, and where it says "SONG URL 0" put the URL of the same song.

I love listening to music, but I can't read it! In my music class at school everyone alreadys knows how because they already learned it. I'm failing because my old school didn't offer courses in music. I hate this. I feel so ignorant and the teacher is so oblivious to the fact that I'm clueless when she talks about treble clefs, keys, beats in a note, creshendos, and all that. What sucks is, I don't even have any friends in my music class to ask for help. So what on earth do I do? My grade is an F!

Lines are EGBDF. A good way to remember this is by making a mnemonic device- it'll stick sooner than you think. I've used Even George Bush Drives Fast, Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge, and Elephants Go Belly Dancing Fridays. Anything you can remember is good.

Spaces are FACE. Those spell out face, so they're a little easier to remember :] Someone also came up with Fat Anna Can Eat, but it's easier to just remember FACE.

A measure typically has 4 beats. At the beginning of every line, there will be a fraction, like 4/4. This means that there are four beats in a measure (top number) and the quarter note gets one beat (bottom number). Take 3/8 time. Three beats in a measure, eighth note gets one beat. Got it? :]

This may seem daunting, but you'll catch on sooner than you think. My school had us learning this starting in third grade, and I felt like I'd never learn it. Don't worry, we all caught on fine.

Taking up an instrument will also help you learn how to read music. Whether it be piano, guitar, or a $15 recorder, it'll help you understand what's written better. Not to mention that it's veyr fun as well. I used to play guitar (its collecting dust in my room right now, but i USED to play it!!) but the lessons just irritated me. They were also $20 a session. If you're going to teach yourself (which I recommend if you don't want to pay for lessons), I suggest a beginner's practice book. You can get them anywhere you'd buy the instrument and they're under $15 (and many come with a practice CD too). Asking someone who already plays (preferably well) is a big help too.

As for the class itself, try talking to the principal, and/or having your parents come in for a conference. You should not be failing this class just because you can't understand sheet music, you should at LEAST get an A for effort. Honestly trying to do the task at hand should get you at least a B. If you knew everything already, nobody would need school.

What are good firewalls that are downloadable from the internet? I want to give my computer extra protection so I'm thinking of downloading one. Also what are good pop-up blockers (downloadable)?

Google has a great pop-up blocker. It comes with the Google Toolbar, which is free. There's a download link on the Google homepage.

As for a firewall, I'm not sure about a downloadable one. But if you have Windows XP, you can get Windows Firewall for free- if you have Service Pack 2 you have it already. Go to your security center. If you don't already have it, you should be able to get the CD to download the entire package free at Circuit City, Best Buy, your local computer shop, et cetera.
