my ipod won't work..

Question Posted Thursday September 21 2006, 5:20 pm

My iPod nano has recently been acting up. It won't play music at all; everytime I choose a song it immediately goes to the next song, then the next, then the next, until it reaches the end at which point it returns to the main menu (which is normal when the playlist is finished.) I'm having trouble getting on without my music!! Help me, please!

I'm not sure why this is happening. Contact the company, sending them your iPod, asking to have it repaired. Chances are they won't repair it, but they MOST LIKELY will send you a new one. (This happened to my brothers friend.)

you might want to consider taking it to radio shack to get it fixed, or you oculd buy a new ipod! I like CD players better (proly cuz I can't afford an ipod), but anyway you should try that.

Try Resetting it, whether it be via iPod updater, or directly from iTunes (if you have the newest version). This should clear up any software issues, and it sounds like this is the case here.

If that doesn't work, see if your iPod is cracked from anytime you dropped it, scratched, et cetera. The hardware may have been damaged.

hope I helped!
