A few thoughts I've gathered from my teenage years (and being on this site for most of them!):
1. If you Google song lyrics, the song will come up 99% of the time.
2. Dress to fit your body type, and buy the size that fits. If you're a size 6, squeezing into a 4 won't make you look skinnier. It makes you look fat when you aren't.
3. You will never regret waiting to lose your virginity.
4. There is such a thing as a stupid question, but we're all allowed to ask them.

Hacking into his myspace IS being nosy, sorry to say.

Passwords are usually initials, significant other's names, or completely meaningless jumbles of letters. Guessing it will be next to impossible.

So. I guess you're stuck asking him. What you say, whether you ask for his password, or go straght to the source and ask if he's cheating, is up to you.

I want to download this pretty font called Violation but I need winzip and I don't like downloading fonts that need winzip because winzip will pop up every time you use it, I need it to be True Type but every fotn I come across needs winzip.

Can anyone send me Violation in True Type and a font site where all the fonts are True Type?

If you use WinZip fonts, you can unzip them to your Fonts folder. [Location should be C:\WINDOWS\FONTS\, unless you have your fonts folder somewhere else for whatever reason]

If you do that, any font you download wll behave no different than Times New Roman or Arial.

Many sites allow you to skip the WinZip problem altogether. I consulted the oracle, Google, for answers to this perplexing question.

how to i make roses live longer? what are the best things to do to make them stay alive?

Changing the water everday helps. It'll keep the vase from smelling like a pond someone dumped garbage in, too. Also, when you run out of plant food, adding a little sugar to the water works well too.

Also, when it comes time to drying them (a good idea once they really start to wilt and would otherwise have to be thrown away or destined for a potpurri bowl) is to use clippy hangers. Chances are pretty good there's some kicking around the house already. People usually use them to hang pants or skirts. The hangers hold the stems well, and you can hang them from anywhere there's room: curtain rod (close the shade if possible; they won't fade as quickly), door frame, etc. Anywhere you can hang clothes, you can dry flowers.

Keeping them in the fridge only works if you don't have apples in the fridge too. Don't ask how I know that... but I know it ruins corsages. haha. I think I heard it from Martha Stewart.

Is there a website that allows you to read books for free on the internet? I would like to read The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks. I ordered it online but it will take a while to get here and I wanted to get a head start and read it online.

In about a hundred years, the copyright will expire and it can be posted online legally. For now you're out of luck.

You could always borrow it from a library. You know, libraries. The big buildings that you never see teenagers walking into anymore that are full of books, movies, CDs and audiobooks that you can borrow for free. No eyestrain or copyright infringements either!

how do i put pictures on my ipod nano?

Nothing to add to the previous answer besides do NOT unplug your iPod without first ejecting it. You could corrupt the software.

my kodak digital camera is being weird. when i turn it on the screen says the kodak logo thing like normal, and then the screen turns black and it shuts off..but the batteries arent dead because ive changed them so many times to make sure that wasnt the problem. help?

Mine did the EXACT same thing. Turns out it was a mechanical defect or something. It was covered under the warranty and I just got a new one at the store I bought it. Make sure you have all the stuff that came in the box, and the original receipt if possible. If it was a gift, just to to customer service and explain the problem. If it still looks new (so that they don't think you're screwing them over trading in a 2 year old camera) they'll probably exchange or fix it for free.

Before you go to the store though, check to make sure the dial isn't in between modes (camera, landscape, movie, etc). That may be the only problem,

Also make sure you're putting the batteries in the right way. Sounds stupid, but I've done that more than once haha.

If you DO bring it somewhere, make sure you take out the memory card. Because if you don't, you'll probably never see it again. Just a heads up :)

My periods are still pretty irregular--most of the time it's at the beginning of a month but a lot of the time it comes later in the month

If you normally get cramps before you start, the next time you get cramps that'd be a good sign.

Also, if you notice any of the classic symptoms of PMS, like being extremely moody all of a sudden, you're probably about to get your period.

Always carry a couple pads or tampons in your backpack. That way, you'll always be prepared no matter what happens. Unless like zombies steal your backpack the same day you get your period. But I can't imagine that's very likely to happen =D

okay i saw this movie awhile ago at a friend's house and i cannot think of what its called. im pretty sure johnny depp is in it.and i remember there were these really big alien worm things and i remember to parts. one was they were out on snowmobiles and one guy was taking a piss and the alien thing came out of the ground and bit his dick off and the other was one guy was on the toilet taking a shit and the alien came up through the toilet and killed him. what movie is thiss?

Go up to a someone who looks lonely and/or is standing completely alone and ask them if they want to dance :) Or dance in a circle with a bunch of your other dateless friends. It's fun.

Or, you could still ask someone to the dance. Ask someone to be your valentine, maybe? Then bring up the subject of the dance later on.

Slow songs are also an excellent time to
1. Go to the bathroom/fix makeup
2. Stuff your face at the snack table
3. Take pictures for your friends that ARE dancing.
4. Running around screaming like an idiot, attempting to start a conga line with anyone you see. BTW, this may get you kicked out of the dance, so proceed with caution.

The guy that i've seriously been crushing on is coming over tommorow and i have a huge red acne dot on my nose and i have tried everything to shrink it.

i've used pro active, hemmeroid cream to decrease the swell, 10% benzoyl peroxide cream, eye drops, not touching it and keeping it clean, hydrogen peeroxide, drinking TONS of water, and tea tree oil. i'm so scared, its valentine's day and my nose is a mess.
i included a picture so you can best judge what to do.

Now what you should do is put a dab of either rubbing alcohol or toner (if you have it) on the zit and the area right around it. Use a cotton swab; it'll help. Then put a dab of a spot treatment like salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. Either use the cream you ahve already, or, if you're willing to go out and get something new, get Clean and Clear Advantage. It's one of the best products out there and helps to minimize scarring.

Okay. Now what you're gonna do is stop touching it. Stop thinking about it and don't worry! Before you go to bed, put on another dab of acne cream. In the morning, put a dab of foundation over the spot (it'll be a lot smaller by then too!) and nobody will notice.

Another thing that may help (that will undoubtedly be less damaging to your face than hemmeroid cream... ) is holding a hot, damp facecloth on the zit for about a minute before putting on the acne cream. It'll help the spot absorb the medicine faster, relieves pressure, and may also help it pop/heal/get on with disappeasring in general. :)

if im on the computer for example, google, aim, advicenators, youtube, itunes, etc etc. every once in awhile my tower makes this sound. im not sure if its the fan but thats where its coming from, that general area. it sounds like a freaking vacuum!! its really loud and annoying. after about 2 minutes it totally stops, but then might start up again a few hours later. it just did it twice in 10 minutes. what is this?? thanks!!

Yeah, it's the fan.

It works harder to keep your computer from overheating. It's possible you have a lot of programs running at once, but it can (and will) still happen even if you have one program running.

Jsut be grateful it's working. Your computer can literally catch fire if the fan isn't there.

If the noise becomes constant, parts of your computer may need to be replaced. Otherwise, you probably have nothing to worry about. Just make sure the back of the computer has plenty of ventilation.

I have a winter formal coming up, and I would really like to loose a lot of weight quickly. Which foods should I eat, and how many calories should I eat each day? I'm 14, and weigh 90 pounds, but that's because I'm super short and have like no muscle. I really would like to get a lot healthier because I eat a lot of junk food. Any help would be greatly appreciated =]

Okay. Unless you're two feet tall, you do NOT need to lose weight. Eating less junkfood and exercising more will improve your health and appearance, regardless of your weight. To accomplish this, just start eating better! Limit soda as much as you can. Drink more water, lowfat milk, and juice instead. You'll feel AND look better- you won't be consuming all those empty calories! Healthy snacks are an easy switch too. Instead of coming home and eating Cheetos and chips, have something healthy: granola, corn chips and salsa (not the greatest, but a lot better than potato chips and onion dip!), veggies and dip, trail mix, celery with peanut butter, or half a sandwich, to name a few healthier options.

As for exercise, take a few minutes each day and just get moving! You don't have to be training for a marathon. Walk to a friends house instead of getting a ride, or go for a short run (cold weather won't kill you, just wear a coat!). Little changes will make a big difference.

I never liked reading much, but a few months ago a read the mitch albom books, like five people you meet and hevean and tuesdays with morrie. Im planning on reading the 3rd one too(im not sure of the name). Now i really want to read more. What are some other good books. Im 16/f by the way.

His new book is "For One More Day" :) I've read it; it's pretty good. My favorite is still "5 People You Meet in Heaven" but all his books are worth reading.

Anyways, you may also like Sarah Dessen's books. Her first two books were actaully the basis for the movie How to Deal.

I'm also obsessed with the classics, science fiction, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings (read The Hobbit first!) and basically anything else I can get my hands on.

Libraries often have "young adult" sections; browse around there for awhile and you're bound to find something that'll get you hooked.

"Emo" simply refers to bands that put their emotions into their music- specifically, the lyrics. So, excellent bands such as 3 Doors Down and Three Days Grace are slapped with the "EMO" label and therefore shunned by certain people.

Buuut other bands that many people often classify as emo are Hawthorne Heights (The Silence In Black and White is less mainstream; better, in my opinion) and JamisonParker (sometimes a bit repetititve and dragging, but excellent songwriting. easy to listen to as well)

Also look up bands by genre on myspace. There's literally thousands.
