My best friend & I have known eachother about a year. We have the best times together, have alot in common and even look alike. The problem is she has some bad qualities. She only talks about her problems and thinks they are worse and bigger than anyone else's. She is extremely sensitive and defensive. When I bring any of this up, she flips on me, thinks I'm wrong and being hurtful. It seems like I can never get a word in about my life at all! How do I get her to listen to me for once, without hurting her feelings?

Sit her down and say _____ I need to talk to you. Tell her that she is your best friend but you fell like you can never get anything in your life out there. Tell her that you think she should let you geta few words in every now and then.

the other day in history we were working on a section for Indians. and i think that we , as americans or whites, owe them so much! like land and money! because of everything that we have done! and they have a high suicide and alcaholism rate too! and they are on little crappy reservations! its horrible!!

I'm a lacrosse player (female) and it is my first year. I just started to become athletic, and since I'm running so much, my toes/feet hurt a lot if I run a lot. Is there anything I can do to get used to running a lot so my feet don't hurt as much? Thanks so much!

Try running toe to heel instead of heel toe, also strech your feet out.

Today in English we were reading some story about something to do with someone having a disability wanting to play golf. He had trouble walking and had to use a cart to get around to the hole while everyone else had to walk (obviously I wasn't paying much attention). But, towards the end of class my teacher brought up a good point about what the word "fair" meant to us.

Her question was, "Is being fair treating everyone equally, or giving lea-way to those with disabilities so they can be like everyone else.

I was wondering what it meant to you guys.

I actually agree with your second one. Is being fair treating everyone the exact same or is it changing the rules so that everyone can "play".
This gives EVERYONE the chace to do things or change.

Well there is this guy that i really like and he likes me. He even broke up with his girlfriend for me. He always tells me about how much he loves me and everything. He is .perfect.!, but there is one problem..AGE. His mom won't let him date me bcause he could go to jail. Some of his friends have been giving him hell about it too. Others say we should hookup. I'm going on a school trip Wed-Fri. and I've got my period the heaviest it's ever been. It's like I have to change my pad every hour. I've never gotten cramps and now I have them really bad. During the trip we are going to make a couple rest stops off the bus. I can't put a pad in my pocket because it will be obvious..This is going to ruin my whole trip! I won't feel well and all my friends are going to have fun. I can't bring medicine either...it isn't allowed. I might have to wear a couple pads at once and like two pairs of underwear until I can quitely try to change it. Please help me get through this because I don't know what to do! I will remember this trip forever too. =/

This is because it won't tone up so you do it every other day. So i recommend doing as many as you can and adding to that every night you do it...push yourself...trust me!!

I live in Utah and I expect everyone to have big opinions on my religion because it is different. My boyfriend is LDS (morman) and I am Lutheran. We have breifly dicussed if we were to get married, where would it be at. He wants a temple wedding and I want my chruch wedding. There is no way I would convert.
